Water

Water moves continually Over land, evaporation and transpiration
common chemical substance
essential to all forms of life
the substance has a solid state, ice,
and a gaseous state, water vapor.
About 1,460 teratonnes (Tt) of water covers 71% of the Earth's surface,
in oceans and other large water bodies,
with 1.6% of water below ground in aquifers
and 0.001% in the air as vapor,
clouds (formed of solid and liquid water particles suspended in air),
and precipitation.
Can cause hurricanes when global warming extends
entire villages left submerged as in people's streets
submeerged.

Earth's water is contained
within man-made and natural objects
near the Earth's surface as water towers,
animal and plant bodies, manufactured products, and food stores.
Water moves continually
Saltwater oceans hold ing 97% of surface water,
glaciers and polar ice caps 2.4%,
and other land surface water such as rivers and lakes 0.6%.
Water moves continually
Water moves continually through a cycle of evaporation or transpiration,
precipitation, and runoff, reaching the sea.

Water moves continually over land
Winds carry water vapor over land
at the same rate as runoff into the sea,
about 36 Tt per year.
Over land, evaporation and transpiration
contribute another 71 Tt per year to the precipitation
of 107 Tt per year over land.
Some water is trapped
for varying periods in ice caps, glaciers, aquifers, or in lakes,
providing fresh water for life on land.

Clean, fresh water is essential to human and other life.
In many parts of the world, it is in short supply.
Many organic molecules as well as salts, sugars,
acids, alkalis, and some gases (especially oxygen), are soluble in water.
Water is essential for all life on Earth.

Humans can survive for several weeks without food,
but for only a few days without water.
more than one billion people
 in low and middle-income countries
lack access to safe water for drinking,
personal hygiene and domestic use.
more than 20 percent of the world’s people.
 close to 2 billion people
did not have access to adequate sanitation facilities.
leading causes of morbidity
and mortality in low- and middle-income countries, frequently called developing
countries.

over 1.1 billion people are currently without safe drinking water.

A Hint at What Is Beautiful :
Lovely is the 'bless your heart'
Wrapped with appreciation,
Offered to peace inclined individuals
Who make a special effort
To nurture shrapnel singed casualties
In the midst of napalm sedated air,
Conveying their humankind, unobtrusively
Also, unassumingly, in our
Blood recolored, avarice unhealthy,
Detest eaten world.
Lovely is the occasion,
At the point when the heart apathetic
To euphoria or distress, just trusts
Whatever this life brings
In any case, discovers time to simply be.
By Yoonoos Peerbocus
A Crazed Girl :
THAT crazed young lady ad libbing her music.
Her verse, moving upon the shore,
Her spirit in division from itself
Climbing, falling She knew not where,
Stowing away in the midst of the load of a steamship,
Her knee-top broken, that young lady I pronounce
A delightful grand thing, or a thing
Nobly lost, chivalrously found.
Regardless of what debacle happened
She remained in edgy music wound,
Wound, injury, and she made in her triumph
Where the bunches and the bins lay
No regular comprehensible sound
Be that as it may, sang, 'O ocean starved, hungry ocean.'
By William Butler Yeats
A Baby View of Abortion :
I came as tomorrow
Swaddled in guiltlessness
To your warm womb
Mother… …
Without your decision
Or on the other hand mine
Bound to up date
With time
Our human tree
Be that as it may, before adoration
Developed into fragile living creature and words
What is incomplete creation-
A precipitation of blood
Turned into my greatness.
By Yoonoos Peerbocus
A Ballad of Heaven :
He created at one extraordinary work for quite a long time ;
The world go by with elevated look;
Some of the time his eyes were dashed with tears ;
In some cases his lips with giggling shook.
His significant other and youngster went dressed in clothes,
Also, in a blustery garret starved ;
He trod his measure on the banners,
Also, high on paradise his music cut.
Contemplative he became yet never dreaded ;
For dependably on the midnight skies
His rich symphonic score showed up
In stars and zones and universes.
He thought to duplicate down his score ;
The moonlight was his light; he stated,
'Listen my adoration,' however on the floor
His better half and tyke were lying dead.

Where Once Verdant Rolling Highlands

Where once verdant rolling highlands...

Spanned into infinite vista
far as these myopic eyes can see
now yellowing Whitmanesque
leaves of grass encompass field of vision.

Nary a dark dreadnaught cloud in sight,
nor unbeknownst if/when threatening storm
looms on horizon slaking parched land
delivering precipitation quenching thirsty terra firma.

I too experience vicarious dehydration
during bonafide dry spell
constituting theoretical string
hoop fully curtails weather beaten
flora and fauna

conceding blindingly bright
cloudless summer days
across disc (sky)
to amply liquidate shriveling assets.

Unbeknownst when spate of rainlessness,
(i.e. I pray for moderate soaking precipitation)
thwarting immediate indications
meteorologically signalling onset
regarding definition of drought.

Nothing more humbling
than cacophonous thunderstorm
nsync with jagged bolts of lightning
accompanying drenching downpour
analogous to downed wall of water
cascading from upper atmosphere
intermittently pelting landscape

albeit immediately, magically, quixotically...
transforming parched land (Highland Manor)
into profuse lusciousness
harkening Edenic denouement.

Impossible mission (this simple bumpkin)
(one local Schwenksville yokel)
(Civil War union soldier incarnate)
to forecast today/tonight
eventide of June twenty fifth
two thousand and twenty,

when Zeus will doctor
animals and plants courtesy
of requisite life source
also known as H2O,
comprising above mentioned
two hydrogen atoms
and one oxygen atom.

Ironic, how approximately
three quarters (seventy five sense)
engulfs planet Earth,
yet many environments
suffer inadequate deluges,
more so now with climate change

(global warming) increasing temperature
across oblate spheroid
compromising habitable places,
yet methinks coronavirus (COVID-19)
gave mother nature
much needed reprieve

cleansing heavily polluted urban areas
courtesy partial lockdown and restraint,
whereby *****sapiens
deterred, jackknifed, prohibited...
spewing noxious forth fossil fuel byproducts
encouraging, mustering,

plying, telecommuting, zooming
avast array of activities
augmented by virtual reality
technology supplanting mass transit,
thus diminishing deadly toxins
absorbed by all creatures
great and small.

It took place shortly after and the stage was set
before words before ink before heavenly breath
There was a rain on the parade
of eternal monotony
and the angels were elated

In the Beginning God created... the verse everyone knows
tantalizing phrasing that leaves you on your tip-toes

before grass before plants before earthly foes

And the earth was without form... (and talk about void!)

It was there when it was all lightning and storm:
chaos untamed in watery upheaval,
though the celestial walls were impermeable

Enough disarray to make a grown man weep

And darkness was over the surface of the deep...

It was there before it was given the title: Sea
Before light was birthed with a "Let there be"

Blanketing the earth with cerulean comfort
in preparation for ethereal tickles,
despair happy to take her wings

And the Spirit of God was hovering...

Like a golden eagle dipping down
into azure pools
knowing mountains will soon rise from your depths

... but LOVE is the requisite
... and HOPE is the heart of it

Just like the weather that's about to hit the scene,
before Pangaea performs in emerald green

... and there was morning the Second Day

Can you not hear your doubts just wash away?

---remember what happened on the Third?
I'm sure you do---

As you see Him reaching down with liquid love for you,
longing to invigorate your being

He wants to split you in half
as the Rod of Moshe
made watery walls of crystallization
He longs to enter into your towering trust

(and not just on occasion)

For sometimes the Water of Life is dramatic
Sometimes it's not

And sometimes your fears could use a little irrigation
(right now your eyes could use
a bit of prayerful precipitation)

Remember the ruby water that dripped down
the Face of the Son
that fateful day
Drink it in Become full
Indulge in humble hydration

Your heart will tell you what you should

And behold it was very good...

NOTE: Moshe is the Hebrew rendering of the name Moses.

Everything was green and lush as I walked the hiking path,
little did I know that soon I would be hopelessly lost and
entangled by the forest with foliage impermeable. I walked
miles. Soon I was weary and so thirsty, I knew it was a requisite,
even perhaps death, I needed water soon or die. Suddenly a
needed precipitation, a sweet drizzle of cold rain falling on me from
twisted branches above in the tree canopy. I cupped my hands and drank.
Stillness surrounded me, not even the birds sang, all was quiet.

Pausing, I then heard the sound of water in the distance calling to me,
and I started to walk in that direction, energized by the thought of the coolness,
running through the thorns and decaying fauna, stopping and starting,
twisting and turning. I stood there panting listening and still hearing water.

Then I rested on the decomposing forest floor and fell asleep and dreamt . . .
How did I get to this lovely place of waterfalls and brilliant foliage and a
river of icy blue flowing into a lagoon with flowers blooming and trees so green.
Every perfect thing you could image was before me. I plunged into the lagoon,
exhilarated. How I needed the hydration and I drank to invigorate myself.

Wonderful sprays of serenity held me and I never wanted to leave,
and under the moon I swam and dived in the emerald blue iciness, but
then, I awoke and knew I was not of this realm anymore. I was to be
eternally part of the icy blue, a water fairy dwelling in a beautiful lagoon,
reality gone, now I am the crystallization of water, a sweet hazy reverie.

From my watery grave, I whisper to you in dreams, come my lovely, come
and join me in the misty blue, oh it is magical where I dwell in water deep.
In my realm all is tranquil and peaceful and we can float free and calm,
rest your soul in my crispness all the night, come my lovely, come. I promise,
you can leave when you wish- or perhaps you will stay with me in the icy blue.

Snow Showers Earlier Today December 9th 2020 Yielded Negligible Accumulation

Snow showers earlier today December 9th, 2020 yielded negligible accumulation

Though anyone who saw
and/or watched local news would be more wise
the brief flurry of crystalline precipitation
came as a complete surprise,
cuz yours truly prefers
getting strangled courtesy neckties
versus being given spoiler alert
subsequently forced to give reciprocal highfives.

I generally skirt tracking the weather,
nevertheless the missus would pantomime,
née blurts out with glee
meteorological conditions occurring here
out the skies above second Street
within Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.

No rhyme nor reason prevails
necessitating yours truly to hear and/or see
what mother nature doth hold in store
concerning (Delaware, Chester,
and Montgomery) tri county locale
sometimes loosely referred to
as comprising Delaware Valley

a geographical area coterminous with
metropolitan statistical area (MSA)
and broader combined statistical area (CSA),
and composed of counties located in
Southeastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey,
Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

As a lifetime resident - 19473 zip code
regarding aforementioned place name,
I can ofttimes intimate
how the forecast will bode
especially if adequate hours spent outdoors,

more so when yours truly
lived at 3224 Level Road
which less likely as ole man winter
huffs and puffs with braggadocio
rarely ripping, riffing, and riding
piggyback with nor'easter.

Interestingly enough global warming
affected dramatic climate change
during course of mine lifetime,
where Currier and Ives rural
linkedin with good n plenti grange,
where agrarian lifestyle might seem strange
to urban outfitters constituting population.

Truth be told, I fondly remember those days of yore
when countless unbroken acres of greenery
whereat in Arcola a cider mill vestige
of American/British Revolutionary War
perhaps e'en centuries before frequented by troubadour
named Shakespeare, quite sad

to narrate hundreds of years postwar
(meaning that brouhaha incorporating
Declaration of Independence)
long since derelict and sold
possibly by family with surname Knorr,
(methinks his first name Ignoramus nickname Ig)
who strongly exhibited demeanor of Eeyore.

Mad Scientist of Poetry

It's hard to breathe-poor respiration
Stomach hurt due to a combination
Of starvation and constipation
I feel like bad inflation
I need deflation
Get me a doctor to perform the operation
To make it in this world its mad desperation
I refuse to make adaptation to nonsense and instigation
I'm so sweaty more wet than condensation
Precipitation
Evaporation
Body so glossy it's like anatomy lamination
So I dry off like fabrication
I wish I was make-believe like animation
My own choice my own obligation
First start with an observation
Then evaluation
A problem in the atmoshere? Bad radiation
In 360 circulation
Earth's manipulation
Creates a bad situation
For the population
To feel a bad sensation
Like planet domination
Due to poor human reputation
The ultimate retaliation
Is Revelation
...As the #1 selection
Regardless of complexion
Object of every girl's affection
Lookin for the best connection
As a correction
From going in the wrong to right direction
It's like an infection
I want success so bad I get an ********...
In addition
To my subscription
To a perscription
To my addiction
Of the worst possible condition
Avoid the infliction
And affliction
Of pain of a titanic description
So I jail my anger with no jurisdiction
But I still face conviction
For kickin the automobile of anarchy into ignition
Can it lead me to a contradiction
Or a mental restriction
While I sleep I have recognition
I'm not the disease but the cure or is that a premonition
Or Gods intuition...
This is literal
Critical
And pitiful...
Beware we are almost at the completion
Of Earth's depletion
It's no secretion...
Could it be distinction
Or extinction...
From gov't corruption
To volcanic eruption
We are the production
Too late for interruption...
Any confession
Any suggestion
If you want to end the world here's the succession...
In conclusion
This is purely retribution
For distribution
Of pollution
No illusion
No confusion
No dillusion
Just an intrusion
Erase the constitution...
There's no prevention
Of the redemption...

Creating a Super-Hero Part4

I would help the air by blowing smoke
into outer space.
Not like the teens who blow it in my face.

Bok Choy!
For the farmer I would bring rain,
precipitation to wash upon delicious leafy greens.

Oooooh!
I would open the clouds just like they were a tap,
with a wave of my hands, stop drought
with a thunderous clap,
cause a streak of lightning just because I can.

I would make the water the purest, the tastiest,
I would take hydration to the maximus!

Nothing but the best for us, for the food
we harvest into healthy snacks.

The Arctic needs more cold
to keep the temperature well below.
Zero would be the problems when my frosty breath
takes hold.

I would use my lungs, my will, my color changing lips, to solidify the icebergs, fortify their length and width.
It is my pleasure, my treasuring,
just the nature of things, taking their course,
the power coursing through my veins
of course from love's mysterious source.

It would be like a tornado on the tundra.
Science meeting alchemy,
like liquid nitrogen caught in a breeze.

Where responsibility meets a good deed,
and nature meets with sorcery, haha indeed!
From Antarctica to the Arctic Sea,
I would do a solid for the life that thrives
on the world's icy shelf.
As far as the eye could see,
people will see me not just thinking of myself.
Even though I wouldn't mind an icee, or a slurpee,
or a magic elf.....a stereo, surround soun.....
ahem, sorry about that..

I would clear the old growth forests
with the back of my hand,
chopping like a kung fu master,
the bark, stump, branch, the whole botanical span,
and i'd pick up the trash just scattered about
and i'd put that sh...put it in a can.

I could take away the fuel
for an out of control blaze,
and give it to the elderly
for warmth on cold winter nights
and cold winter days.

It would also ensure to the animals
a lifelong place they can run and jump
and also graze.
But no cruising please,
it would be weird to run animal's vehicle plates.
I'm just sayin'.

The Last Hoorah of Old Man Winter 2022

The last hoorah of old man winter 2022?

March twelfth Ded Moroz
struts his white stuff
first real substantial puncheon
found Jack Frost in his glory,
he haint no longer morose nor gruff,
cuz series of fortunate meteorological events
found crystalline precipitation hoary.

I revel watching
the bit torrent of snowflakes alight
upon the greensward;
a cold wind bloweth and doth bite
any exposed flesh of daredevil
(the re:noun Evel Knievel of verbiage)
weather beaten soul
trundling with delight
inured to brutal cold
all fours seasons excite
contemplative character
asked me to ghostwrite,
thus a reasonable rhyme yielded
courtesy wuthering height.

Yours truly breathes deep sigh of relief,
when surprise blizzard came our way,
no matter yours truly solitary fellow
holed up in me mancave yay,
he experiences unfettered glee
for picturesque blustery scene today
eight sleeps before Spring Equinox
glad second rate nor'easter
pummeled Southeastern
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

The near future forecast
bodes well nigh arrival of vernal equinox
when the sun crosses celestial equator
in northerly direction, marking
prime meridian of right ascension.

Fanfare for common man
(think das scribe spinning these lines)
grateful timely notion
kindled inside mine noggin
truth be told - before onset of storm,
I drew one blank after another
and felt at my wits end
regard apropos material to write about.

Methought to soon to post
poem about beware the ides of March,
(approximately sixty one
and a half hours hence,
similar explanation regarding
summoning creative literary endeavor
honoring Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit,
thus imposed upon figurative shoulders
(mine) to hash out some
marginally passable verse.

Now attention pauses to take look see
out bedroom window
watching medley of gusty air
in sync with blizzard conditions,
yet yours truly snug
as a bug in a rug
despite not turning on the heat,
and would ye believe
bard of Perkiomen Valley
only donned in ma birthday suit?
