Premium Member Our Final Exit

An individual's death is as unique as the life that preceded it,
but the process by which the body breaks down is always the same.
Evolution or God created this magnificent masterpiece:
The *****Sapian Human Brain.
Prior to dyeing in whatever way, this marvelous creation will pave the way
to a most wonderfully beautiful and comforting final exit.
I'd like to share what will one day happen to me and to all of you.
when our existence in our lifetime must end and is due.
I'd like to share with all of you Our Final Exit.
When the brain has exhausted all of its efforts to keep its life alive,
the brain will realize there's nothing left to be done, Its Now Time To Die.
The brain now only has one true and last purpose, so it kicks itself into super overdrive
manufacturing and remanufacturing, 100 million times fold more than in its entire lifetime
all the natural chemicals that get us all naturally high.
Serotonin, Endorphins, Dopamine, etc all flood in great numbers within your brain
You have absolutely no sensation of fear, anxiety or even immeasurable physical pain.
All negative feelings are now totally alien to you.
You've reached the highest of euphoric state that you could have ever hoped to attain to.
When the time comes when no more natural chemicals from your brain can be released,
You will die in the most blissfully, wonderful, serene eternal sleep.
Believe me when I say, "All do truly rest in peace."

So for those of you who fear the unknown,
I hope from the above you have grown
to learn that your final moments need not be feared at all.
Evolution or God created this magnificent masterpiece
that guarantees a most beautiful, comforting final exit for all.

her lips lie metaphorical realism

she could not handle the truth
easier to live a lie
just the truth the whole truth nothing but the truth
does it still exist

when none believe reality its still truth
if all believe lies they are still falsehoods
authenticity captures facts that exist
cold hard facts metaphorically speaking

how do I substantiate its actual
is there a magic formular to follow
do I trust my instinct can it be misled
if its verisimilitude can I trust

being lifelike cannot be the whole answer
fakes can seem more actual than authentic
verifying requires a masters degree
some anomalies are true world or true life

says true fruit would they put fake fruit in the can
corporeality surely must exist
a physical body a truthful being
must be believed actual

Premium Member The Empathy Trap

In a world of physical bodies
It’s important we know how to feel,
Feel our own sensation
And at least get a hint how others feel too.
Bodies after all have a language
That’s important to know how to read.

Mammals, especially in packs and herds
Excel at empathetic response.
We all have it hard-wired,
But we all learn to guard it.
Or at least need to, since it’s connected
To the pain center of the brain,
And pain must be kept in check.

Have you ever experienced intense pain?
Although rated on a scale of one to ten
Ten is impossible to ever reach
Because our capacity to endure the physical
Infinitely expands into the spiritual,
But I digress.

So empathy is feeling another’s pain
Because it directly connects to ours.
What could possibly be wrong with this
Leading it to entrapment,
And so require a temperate response?

Pain can make you do terrible things.
It can make you relate to a victim so much
You are driven to ride out and lynch,
Or march off to war in fanatic revenge.
It can make you riot and destroy
In the name of something
You may have never actually heard.

So what tempers this pain?
Love.
And how do we practice love?
The word is compassion,
With passion, “with suffering”,
Not in painful reaction but in shared space.

Compassion is connected
To the brain’s love center after all,
So unlike empathy it cannot be abused.

True love is love and not the lust
For hate or conquest, control or power.
True love is eternal,
While pain, no matter how horrible it can be
Is just a temporary thing.

It’s good when the going get tough
To always remember traps,
However strong or sweet we find them,
Are only temporary too.

Viral microbes didst relish
meaty morsel feast
hyperbole (included greased
for dramatic effect) ceased
not, but linkedin

constituent facets increased
with right wing conspiracy
of mine physical health least
up to par today found me writhing,
asper like a wounded beast.

I feel as if giant size
(yes...with closed eyes try to see)
nasty bugaboos did invade me,
and shrunk down yours truly prithee,

corporeal doddering entity) si,
whose light humors opposite of glee,

relative of Spongebob, the latter hale

ling from Bikini Bottom,
whose absence aye still bewail,
especially his misfortune sail
ling from toilet bowl

leaving sopping wet trail

of eyes rubbed red,
which sadness happens to this male,
when he experiences
invisible nine inch nail
piercing vital organs
with no energy to wail.

Mind boggling to this scribe
how itty bitty organisms can imbibe
every last drop of vitality, describe

The ground rumbles, ominously, I'm on the steep side of a Mississippi River Bluff, mid-August, gathering bursting crimson red trophies of Staghorn Sumac for my favorite sumac-ade, a spright, invigorating tonic I enjoy this time of year. The smell in the air, forest-sage beginning to dry and ripen, the bitter tang of scattered paper-birch bark chimneys...must keep alert for the origins of the earthly rumble.

The unsettled earth, sweet and bitter smells...mix with my age and I sit down as if in a trance and drift asleep...harkening back to my training as a young man in a Manhattan Bagel Deli, assembling prep-stations for the customer onslaught about to descend. Proofed bagel dough, seeded and rotating in the elevator slate-shelved oven after a frothy malt-bath in the bubbling giant kettle, delectable aromas of fairly vibrating paper-sliced spiced meats and piquant aged cheeses, briny sheets of smoked lox, pots of sweetly acidic capers and luminous heirloom tomatoes...

But I'm much older now, my mind remembers, but my body can't function like it once did, I can't perform the once-easy configurations effortlessly like before.

The rumbling, just my imagination...

I awaken, gather my bunch of fluorescent sumac, which I am still able to concoct, mindful of God's Grace in my spiritual and physical evolution...He

Has Blessed me with.

Premium Member I AM FIRST -

Profoundly in retrospect signs of embracing a mindset and values in a piece self-awareness and spiritual connection over material possessions and external sources of happiness

my inner self needs no trappings
 so no physical bliss
I am content in myself
 before energy is only free
 with it beyond
The vessel to spiritual energy
 I am first

A sense of liberation as I'm transcending the need for physical comfort or external validation seems to be tapping into a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment that come from God I recognition it's that the true essence extends beyond the physical body and that spiritual energy is unfettered by materialistical constraints it's a beautiful expression of spiritual awareness and inner freedom I am not my flesh

Sight Unseen

Deep in a hole, no more an abyss.
Searching for light, or source of escape
Knowing neither, why or how
I buried myself, deep under ground

Suffering for weeks, Absent of Joy
Bed inescapable, a fortress of hell.
Stress constantly crushing, onto chest:
Like a steel anvil, heavy with anger

they mock me, quiet, distant,
happy, even ecstatic facial gestures.
The condition isn't physical, So:
He must be, "just be lazy!"

Is Escape Possible, when your mind is prison?
No diagnostic test, accurate enough exist,
Cause unclear, lacking visible trauma,
No damage, Specialist Labeled, "Hypochondriac"

The 21st Century, Modern and Advanced:
Mental illness, stigmatized still?
If you want to feel better, Then:
"Use some Will, JESUS!"

Twenty two days, three hours sleep.
Ten days later, awake just two.
Attempt again, to will my function....
Still, Constant , Feeling won't change....

"Manic Depressive,a Frustrating Myth"
Hendrix mentally anguished, Architect of self demise.
Condition Labeled new, Politically Correct.
Wishing once, they lived, briefly, in this brain.

Willing a change, Still suffering the same,
Imagine a Second, daily, praying for change.
three Attempts failed, at medicating me sane
Wishing the cure, simple-minded as your advice:
 "Try Harder"

Premium Member Our Fabled Shabbos Table

Shabbos Table True Fable
Our family "Heimish" setting,
Replete with 2 lighted candles letting,
Blessings, my wife's "Emunah" truly abetting.

6 days' worries & scurries set aside, allayed,
2 lights cleansing in noble "Dr. Suess" style displayed,
Candlesticks' "Curved Art", due to years of use arrayed.

Bluma Yehudis's beautiful voice, her simple innocence,
Capturing a crystalline semblance,
Of each of our spiritual en-trance.

2 "Challah Bagels" offered gratefully to "Hashem",
Each one a symbol, "Remembering" & "Guarding" them,
The 24 hours of rest, from creative labors, not physical ones, we stem.

"When wine goes in, truth comes out",
Liquid sunshine savored in moderation, no gout,
And to boot, enhances melodious singing aloud.

Other Yidden heard through our window, grace the night,
Melodies heard so clear, listening is like eyesight,
Each "Niggun" inspiring, not the least bit trite.

Shabbos graces us each with an extra "Neshama",
Meaning Soul, from "Breath", exhaled into each "Guf" by "HaRachaman"
Gifting "Bina", or understanding, & appetite for my wife's "Manna".

In Bina we listen to each other, to Torah "Tools & Dies",
Attending to Hashem's word, true hearing with eyes,
Conversing, not the least, with your loved's ties.

Singing "Shir HaMa'Alos" in unison,
Brings us together as each other's & His chosen ones,
Bonding warmly, embracing each other by voices' tones.

Afternoon naps, enjoying playing Bananagrams,
Invigorating, rejuvenating, noncompetitive lambs,
Sharing dreams, emotions, wits & words, ignoring weekday scrams.

"Davening", or praying, to Hashem for ours & others' welfare,
Ending domestic disputes among us, pointless warfare,
Huge blessings & tiny like "Shalom", health and carfare.

All this in our Shabbos? I barely skimmed...
" There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy!"

Mentors inspire and encourage

Have you ever gotten discouraged?
Doesn't matter how hard you apply
Your afflicted emotions just get in the way
To the point the artist ceases to create

The human mind thrives with positive
Physical and cognitive response
The brain will not be motivated if
It’s starving for those emotions
And it’s parched for words

Love touches the body
Love touches the soul
Love controls our mind and emotions
Mentors inspire and encourage to motivate
Filling the bowl of our soul with
Sweet melodies that rhyme till it overflows

Premium Member Peace Prevails Where God Reigns

In heaven where God dwells --- there peace constantly prevails
And we are invited to enjoy it by faith with love He offers
Located yon the firmament toward worshipful praise
So crystal clear midst holiness’ glow
Devoid of any corruption trace.

Peace surely reigns with the Lord’s gracious assurance
Since such is the best place after physical death
Indeed, glorious of magnificent amenities
It is God’s house with many mansions
On streets of gold and pearly gates.

Illuminated by Providence-light, peace from God makes life on earth radiant
Always jubilant, as well as vibrant along triumphant partnerships
Since warm fellowship delights everyone with concern-care
As compassion, mercy, kindness and grace abound
Overcoming greed, pride, and selfishness.

With peace we share from the King of kings Who reigns in His majesty
We champion well-being in His soothing victory against any woe
For evil is conquered by kindness-propelled goodness
While we cheer for each other with inspiration-glow
Rejoicing serenely, thanking the Prince of peace.*

Isaiah 9:6 *For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
