The Eulogy
this is it I mean I often wondered how it would be written and who would write it would they remember me who I was the great things I've done or just shallow forget me nots of things I wished to simply forget here it goes my only advise left to offer now would be how important it is to love to be loved truly is over rated my first love I believed we married because we were the same sign actually eleven months three weeks apart also our mood rings were the same color no one told us until years later the colors depended solely on the temperature the weather fascinating to base a marriage on a never ending competition ending in divorce or course several kids later the good old seventies my second marriage occurred because we were in style I had class beauty a writer he well he was my security body guard truly also my driver who asked me to marry him simply because he never felt affection he needed a hug funny now but back then we believed this was love something unusual we both needed at that time it wasn't until after awakening from my coma broken and alone loveless finally my third I'd married for friendship security not physical attraction nothing as feel good as that we were expected to be in love why not what was there for us to lose now except in sickness and in health catching my breath after another stroke symptoms of a broken heart wondering where the hell was love now was it in an affair I dared to have solely reaching for affection through rose colored glasses was it something I missed during my marriage excursions of intermissions feelings of love to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all what would I say if I was here today touch love, say love ,feel love ,live love never ever let love go is the only emotion ever felt used seen or touched here in heaven
