You think I have the capacity to be a casual lover?
You think I can now touch souls and unlink?
Like I'm some meat suit with nothing in it.
You don't know when I abandoned myself,
You don't know how I laid down my cosmic self...
You weren't there when I killed myself for connection.
You think I can even try to be basic in love?
Pay for me and pave my way for me?
As if I'm not here to pump divinity through your veins.
Oh, you do know what it feels like for bodies to touch?
Oh, do you know what it feels like for souls to merge?
Dear friend, Have you ever been inside someone's skin...?
You wonder about the power of everyday physical touch?
Do you wonder about the power of Universes colliding?
Not all have seen stars while staring at skin.
You want to invite me to blasphemy?
You want to remind me of my old self?
God sent me away to return home again.
You think I can look into your past lives and not be a part of one?
You think I can't see into your soul right now?
Touch my skin and feel the ether again.
You think you can have me dear stranger?
You think you can get up in my gift?
I gave it away too easily new friend.
You want to get closer to this body?
You want to glow the next day, everyday?
Honour this soul and the generations of love and pain it took to create it.
You yearn for the everyday siren?
You yearn for your wounds to be caressed?
Lay down your heart and your soul at my feet to rest.
Throughout history, we are lovers
Throughout history, we are soul mates
We are Romeo and Juliet
We are Anthony and Cleopatra
We are Lancelot and Guinevere
We are Tristan and Isolde
Scarlett O' Hara and Rhett
Elizabeth Barrett and Robert
Pocahontas and John
Jayne Eyre and Rochester...
Blended inside one another
Melted inside one another
Two hearts are one
Two souls are one
Throughout the ages
Throughout eternity
Forever was
Forever shall be...
You and I
The sweetest symphony,
and if there were to be
another life
than the one that we now live,
I know your soul would find mine
We would be
the next world renowned lovers,
our names immortalized
in the books that will be written,
for a love like ours,
this passion we share,
defies the boundaries of time
It's a living entity
infused with heaven's light
and its longevity
You and I
We lived; we live; we will live,
for we are the embodiment of love
We ARE love
Personified
You and I
Love's sweetest refrain
Yesterday, now, and forever
YOU and I

* A fictitious write
In this maelstrom of thoughts, I find myself enchanted by the essence of matter,
In love with its most refined bloomings—oceans, forests, and mountain streams,
It gives me shape and form, a home, a place where my consciousness can live a life,
From which I've grown, like a tree from the fertile soil of tangible existence.
I am amazed by its composition, in love with colors, fragrances, and sounds,
By the touch of warm skin and the sweet taste of freshly picked fruits,
All is matter, a source of pleasure and joy, but also of equal suffering,
Through loss and pain, a perpetual dance between ecstasy and agony.
But what is matter when reduced to its essence? Simple particles that can be scattered,
Decomposed into ghostly spirals—am I that, a quantum equation at my core?
Or is it the gift of a Creator, substance born from the act of a conscious mind,
Eternal in a mysterious way, an enigma tearing my soul with unanswered questions?
And so I find myself by the beloved river, absorbing the last light of day,
Filled with hope and doubt, I watch this beautiful world slowly slip,
Wondering if this is all there is and nothing more,
Or if I will awaken from this dream, as I might have done in so many past lives?
In the flow of my consciousness, thoughts swirl like leaves in the wind,
Matter and spirit entwine in a cosmic dance, and I am the silent witness,
Watching as the universe unfolds before my eyes, a grand spectacle,
Of particles and energies, of dreams and realities, of the ephemeral and the eternal.
I am a part of everything, and everything is a part of me, in a mysterious union,
Matter defines and limits me, but my spirit yearns for the infinite,
In this great dilemma of existence, I lose and find myself with every breath,
A dance of consciousness in the ocean of matter, an unwritten poem of the expanding universe.
as is now fashionable
I visited a spiritual medium
it was all to satisfy my curiosity
and relive me from my life’s tedium
entering lucid trance in the vast void
instantly my soul guide appeared
he held my hand and assured
there’s nothing to be feared
in a gentle voice he spoke
body dies but the soul lives on
souls reincarnate time and again
once love’s imbibed our ego is shorn
he then took me into past lives I lived
genders and nationalities rotated
each touch felt was displayed
soul seeking to be liberated
I saw my beliefs were fickle
depending on culture born into
yet in each life my heart sparkled
feeling rhythm of God’s breath renew
I exited the session feeling much wiser
knowing God as pure love and light
He wants us to become as He
heightening bliss delight
Never look back, my darling
Strength and hope is not what you lack, there’s always tomorrow
Vigilance and kindness will bring
Happiness in abundance and will drown away the shack of sorrow
It’s not you that needs to change
It’s me, it’s me, it’s me that’s acting strange
Never look back at the past lives of us
Everything beautiful is beyond the bus
Never looking back at the portraits of our past
The past should remain in the past and at last,
We are running towards the sunshining dawn, or even before the dawn
Cast away our sorrows and run this race so fast as a fretless fawn
Never look back, my dear friend
We are going to be significant and shameless from beginning to end
Cherish the moments before us and show off your inner zeal
Our shameful shack of our sorrows will demolish and vanish like anguished blood upon a sword of steel
There’s something more that I adore
I’m opening up the opportunity door
I want your broken wings to soar
There’s so much hope and faith in store
Doubt not, dear one of the shining shore
I look up to you, the one I adore to the core
What are you waiting for?
Change is a challenging chore
But, I am willing to change and keep track of turbulent joy all the more
For the better and please never look back…
Oh, you’ll become a broken-down dam
I’m not a regretter and gladness, I’ll never lack
I’m a long lost lamb and a robust ram
You are my Rahu and I am your Ketu.
Though future's unknown, I'll be with you.
Thru past lives, we always followed through.
We'll always meet no matter what we do.
You are my Mars and I am your Venus.
Our souls reflect dual energies so timeless.
You and I are each other's newfound bliss.
We'll always love each other just like this.
You are my Sun and I am your Moon.
I know someday we'll live in harmony soon.
Your love for me greater than any boon.
Our love shines as bright as the Sun at noon.
You are my guru and I am your disciple.
You teach me to overcome all that is trifle.
I shall teach you how true love is beautiful.
Our love teaches us how life is meaningful.
We will write
For every thousand ton of ore
There is a nugget,
And so we will write like miners,
Breathing the dust of our darkness,
Filling our veins and lungs
With the choke of our lives.
As words are milk to suckled piglets,
We write with starvation and hunger,
Hoping to balance inequities,
Satiate an endless thirst for peace.
Past lives will crash and updrafts of multitudes
Will be born and born again.
Christians in a hurricane of rain aimed at
the ruin of Roe v. Wade,
And we will write.
Our Lantern is Hope, Our Plea a Silent Sea
Of Restoration.
Through the mist of shallow ears, into
The Droning Deafness of Controversy
We will write.
Words that speak the language of Mind.
An Internal Braille that rolls over tongues
With the coarseness and taste of strife
Luring all gentler souls to a softer life
We write in story, prose and poem
It does not matter if our words are never heard
Or read
From the moment we give them birth,
They are dead.
We also know that death is not an end
The line continues beneath the water
The lure is at the tip
It baits a new beginning
Something will end - something will begin
And we will write
* - 1 - Free verse
I do not think I know so many brave people, really.
Dare to face your fears .... not avoid it
Fearless dare to tread into the unknown
Fearless ... To be able to do something you're afraid of
Go in a dark and unknown paths without street lights
Small, unobtrusive step towards convincing that one can cope
Realize that you have some 'skills' that it is time to put into practice
Give joy to a face full tear and sadness
Take the leap - Self-development which can be very demanding
Approach is that we are down here on earth both to develop ourselves
Also, to help with all the good things we
have with us in our luggage from all our past lives
Create your own life and not just survive
The one who dares nothing .... wins nothing

A-L Andresen :)
I entered a room
and saw familiar strangers
and knew in an instant
they were me: past lives
made living flesh again.
I saw the fat baby, 38
pounds at one year!
(Poor Momma's back!)
I saw the angel-face boy
of four who spoke only
gibberish-- the doctors
told my parents "Sorry,
but he's an imbecile,
best send him far away."
Lucky for me, Mom And Dad
got a second opinion, and
six years of speech lessons
till I spoke like a happy
little English lord....
Then I saw the teenager--tall,
gaunt of cheek, dismissive of
lesser intellects. I grimaced,
and he sneered: I did not like
him, nor did he like me
(though we both lamented
his forlorn virginity)
Behind him stood a 20 something.
I had filled out by then, handsome,
confident with women, tossing them
aside like used hankies, not knowing
how vast was my emptiness-- not
even knowing I was a blind man
until...I crashed into that fog-
shrouded iceberg called Death.
And Death took me to that terrible
place where my soul burned briefly,
and then, without explaining,
returned me to life.
My soul, which one day I had
not believed in, and the next
I knew to be absolute, had been
seared but my eyes finally opened
and I began to see beyond
this world of pleasure and pain,
hunger and feast, war and peace.
Then I met my married self, and
shared with him the happiest day
of our life, when she said yes
to a man still lacking but at
least now trying. Decades later,
he is still inching closer to God.

In my hubris, youth – I knew then
as much as I think I know now.
Only then I did not know when,
or where, or why, or how
it would all come together
nor would I know whether
I had what it would take
my world, my life to make
of what I think I know
or what shape or form it’d show ?
Does this mystic shadow of wisdom ?,
from long lost, past lives, come ?
There is this black, angry, cloud.
Upon eth my head, it doth shroud.
Could it be cosmic karma ?,
born of my delinquent ma, ma,
that biological creature, that female being
- birthing, wanting, never, me – incapable of seeing.
A speck of dust riding on the wind.
To her – I have known – I have sinned.
Has she been the distorted mold ?,
for every girl, every woman I hold
in the depths of my memories hoard
who have walked out my door, left me floored,
never to be an intimate part any more.
Should that make me angry, make me sore ?,
as I sit, lie, absorb in my room
just as I once did in the womb.
An innocent, confined and naked,
today, it is how I try and make it.
As then – all wrapped up, yet all alone
are my days and nights – on my own .
