Both Mother and Daughter 2 No Heavenly End Gods Love

Once upon a time there lived
a young girl

Who eventually was to grow up
inevitably later into a young
women

And when she did all she ever
wanted and dreamed of endlessly
then was to have a young daughter
of her very own

And in time she surely did which
in tern made here complete and
truly happy having seemingly
had her every waking wish duely
granted

Now as the story goes just 2
short years after having her
beautiful baby girl

1 morning whilst in the shower
peering down she noticed her hair
was starting to fall out

Then after booking an appointment
with her G.P in order to get it checked
out

She was later on her precluding
follow up appointment to discover
she was to be diagnosed with
terminal cancer

And what was to become of her
daughter

Well she herself no more than
2 years later to the day her very
self be diagnosed destined to
suffer the same erroneous fate

And all her family and countless medical caregivers had as cold
comfort to offer her was both
sadly and unfortunately nothing
more and other than this

Your Mommy loves you so much
she cannot wait to see her beautiful
little baby angel again in heaven

And she left as she came into
this world with a smile beaming
across her face outwardly displaying
such joy and carefree abandonment
lust and verve for life

The likes of which this world i
fear may never ever see once
again as it was a once in a lifetime
as was she

Reading the deaths column in
the Echo i believe her funeral
is this coming sunday at her
local church where she will
be burried beside her mother

One can only pray and hope
that God will be there for both
her and her mother this time
if at all

The Backslider

The backslider stepped into the chapel like an angel,
Outwardly, he is full of piety,
Inwardly, he is only a pity.
True bliss left him, even purity and dignity.
Though he mingled with the Churchyard
And in prayer session, he prays even louder,
So you get inspired and pray too with strong power.
Joyfully some backsliders will rise and shine again,
While others remain in their stain and gross pain.
If i were you oh backslider...
I will stand up and fight the destroyer.
You must strive and maintain your spiritual drive,
What drives you should be the cross,
For in him there is no loss.
Arise backsliders and stop being slackers,
Christ is coming son.

Soul Fingerprints

By Mark Stucky
From the midst of multitudes,
elusive, unique fingerprints
identify individuals
as owners of their surface smudges.

Beyond their barely discernable
two-dimensions on smooth surfaces,
memories of casual causal touches,
ethereal fingerprints possess power
to unlock phones storing private secrets
and to solve whodunit murder mysteries.

God’s mysterious, stealthy fingerprints
invisibly mark creation and our lives,
at the core, below the surface.
No ridged whorls outwardly appear,
but those uniquely hidden codes
identify their covert Owner.

Distinguishing fingerprints
requires crime labs no longer.
My fingerprint unlocks my phone.
God’s fingerprint unlocks my heart.

The Way We Are

You’ll have to forgive me mate
I write how I feel
If I hide it within
how the hell am I real

I don't dally I give it straight
no room to conceal
it should be a given
but many aint real

they have to protect
an image so precious
they need the respect
to handle pressure

just a subject
of social ideals
false reputation perfect
their foremost skills

untrue is reality
carrying a character
with fake personality
free like an actor

living the role
a global theatre
having to uphold
this noble picture

gaining approval
the game pretended
this not unusual
but naturally scented

seeking an image
being who they want
but within limits
of what others want

an effort which I've never made
receiving approval alien
separate in how I behave
forever moving away from them

some refuse trends
make opposing statements
just the opposite end
of the same placement

never my taste
to them delicious
seems a waste
their nutritious

nobody open
nobody honest
all cloned in
humble modest

letting loose this brutal truth
holds no gain or advance
choosing ruthless suits
the same my chances

I'm outwardly critical
of myself
rewarding and spiritual
good for health

I don't take guard
of my common mistakes
I disregard
the summon of fake

I learnt it growing up
as a defence mechanism
Be the first to say my faults
self criticism

damn I take guard
just like the fakes
I guess it's hard
to avoid such traits

Premium Member Being Human

In my mind
Where silent thoughts
Reveal the truth, the depths
Of my hopes, dreams and feelings…
There is a piercing voice
One who announces my flaws
The faults which remind me that
I am human and humans err
Sometimes badly
Other times, sadly
And still other times, madly
I am a human and I stumble
Both within and outwardly
With mistakes and faults that feel
Like they may just penetrate
The very soul with their heartless
Vicious influence on my spirit

In my heart
Where emotions breathe compassion
And light illuminates wisdom
Giving grace to the sincerity
Of a faith that is more alive
Than the blood in my veins
In my heart

There are a million second chances
New thoughts and new directions
Opportunities for advancement
Assurance that I am someone
Who is like a light in the darkness
Spreading joy and rays of hope
Kindness that is flavored with thoughts
That bring calm to the chaotic
Enlightenment into sorrow and despair
Elation to the music and bliss to the song
Whispers of enthusiasm that dance
Through the heart’s shadows in silhouettes
Of pure wonder, pure pleasure, pure delight

In the depths of my soul
I can always know that this conscience of mine
Is alive with potential and vision
Warming the way toward God’s heaven
With a mountain of little lessons that tell me
I have learned, I have grown, I have become
A warrior in this weary old world
Where my heart, mind and soul always know
As I walk down this path of courage
Inviting my dreams to listen to the sound
Of a million trees coloring the wind
In hues of optimism, faith that sustains
And second chances to be who I am
When I listen to my conscious and my faith
Telling me to always do my very best
Reach out with an honest desire to be
The one God has breathed into me
The soul who only needs to hear with a heart
Who walks by the river of hope, faith and love
Bringing insight into the spirit kissed by God

Why are we considered different because of the colour of our skin
We may differ on the outside but are all the same within!

We are all human
All breathe the same air
All have needs and wants
All love, feel and care

We all have strengths and weaknesses
Have dreams and fears
We all feel joy and happiness
Experience sorrow and shed tears

Yes ,we are all individuals
Outwardly not the same
Though inwardly we are all equal
Unique special beings …we each have a name!

We do not always understand each other
Or agree with what others may do
That’s what makes us human
Makes us, me and you

As long as we keep it simple
Show respect, be fair, be kind
No matter the colour of our skin or cultural differences
We are one…In heart, spirit, soul and mind!

If we all lived together in harmony
What a better place this world would be!

War of Mankind

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10:3?-?4 NIV

The world in blindness
Boast of who has the most weapons
Total chaos, power, money and fear they seek
Ready to kill in the name of power of darkness
Leaves one to wonder in the money
It seems one nation loves to spend on wars
How many lives could be saved
Family members all at home
If this is God one is fighting for
Who has the power to snatch the life
Out of us all in a second needs this foolishness
But in love withholds His Majesty
That we might be broken as a whole
And seek the weapons of the unseen
To defeat the dark forces deceiving many
Through the spirit of God to defeat our strongholds
Which keeps one captive in chains to this world
In a never ending battle of the seen outward things.
Fighting for the flesh of man while destroying
It's within ones soul which we need this fight
Through Christ to destroy the worldly man
Precious in the Lord is the death of His Saints.
For they die to this world that Christ
Might dwell and reign within
To display the love and glory of Christ
New creation snatched from worldly destruction
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:4?, ?16 NIV

Premium Member Most Beautiful Christmas Poem

Quilt mine, like thorny bush, went on hurting me hard,
It said: within this night you should become a bard!

Shall I write: of child unknown, like blooms from buds, born?
Should I write he is, like the eternal seed, bourne...?

Shall I crown His majesty, in my rustic terms?
Each of my heart-beat ever his glory affirms...!

I tried to sleep on hard prickly straw just to know,
How this child felt; I could not, yet, quite undergo...!

Cows I have many at home; goats and black sheep too,
I couldn’t, yet, smell my sheep; Where? When? Who is who...!

One who comes is blessed I know, a guileless child,
Aren't embers restless within, though outwardly mild...???
