Without you here, the world spins on
and winter still returns to spring.
The rising sun still greets the dawn,
and still, I hear the bluebirds sing.

The sky is wide, just like before;
the river's run still meets the sea,
and waves still crash against the shore,
just like the grief you left in me.

The seasons change, the wind still shifts;
the flowers bloom, and children grow.
but like a fog that never lifts,
I still can't seem to let you go.

With hills and mountains, still, I stand;
but walk with woe on shadowed streets
to mask the mark of time’s sharp hand;
you broke my heart, but still, it beats.

The same old moon still shines at night,
but when you went, it changed my view.
It’s glowing cold, so far from light
It feels the sun as I do you.

The world spins on since you have passed,
yet whispered winds still breathe your name.
I'll live my days and reach my last,
and still, I'll love you just the same.

Premium Member it's only love after all

it’s only love after all; maybe a wish.

it all seems at times so childish.

“they say” naive to grieve for something lost,

that never could have been.

but I always remember the green

of the leaves of summer, even in the darkest cold

of winter. The old moon of golden october nights

the sounds and sights of my own lone existence.

it’s only love after all; maybe a dream.

it seems at times as though it is forgotten.

The most pleasing of pleasures, the treasures

of playful memories: children’s laughter

echoing, the smell of the fresh laundry billowing,

the feel of the gentle fur, on fingers evoking a purr;

the smell of the steak shop or pizzeria as you

pass by and oh, yes those beautiful green eyes,

brown eyes, blue eyes of the many most beautiful

glorious people that looked at times so deep into you

that you felt that you, for an instant, became them.

it’s only love after all, maybe none of it ever really happened and

wouldn’t that be exactly the thing that people mean

when they say; “what a shame.”

this human heart so small, it cannot near contain

such love that words cannot pronounce, nor eyes explain.

Why does the ocean instantly appear
more beautiful when you admire its grace?
Why does the timid butterfly draw near
your hand, as you adore its wings' soft lace?
Why do those moments racing through the year
slow to a halt as you look in my eyes?
Why do my life's distractions disappear
when your warm hand and mine become allies?
When you gaze at the bright orb of the night
why does that old moon speed my heartbeat's thrum?
Why does the future no more speak of fright
as you, with optimism, bid it come?
'Tis myst'ry all, my love, that such as I
should be the one to ask these questions, "why?"

Once More

As the evening crept in
whisper of pines unfolded slowly another story,
every single instant seemed one decade;
unknown stars above blinking endlessly,
hand in hand ,our hearts unbridled themselves
and then escaped somewhere into darkness,
old moon unveiled the amazing mountains
every tree inundated by oozing silver;
under this autumn sky
enchanted by immense beauty
our speechless,unbounded moments
as four eyes met in love once more;
unabated passion about to explode moment
into fragments of pleasure
unlimited,boundless and never ending;
we inhaled fragrance of love
unfurling like a rose every second,
I thought of the universe for a moment
even though it seemed oblivion to us.

MOON MOODS

Over a sink full of dishes I stand
Fry pans, coffee cups, sudsy hands
When I notice an ominous moon
Angry face signals bad things coming soon.

Weary from a day of dashed hopes
My mind turned to bubbles like soap
Then I threw down my wet, dirty sponge
And went out the back door with a lunge!

I climbed up my yard’s tallest tree
To the tippy top branch I could see
Then I whistled the 5-Star alarm
And swung from stars arm over arm.

Til at last I was before that old moon
Who looked at me like I was a goon
“Your face looks so troubled and mean,
“Foreshadowing the bad things you’ve seen.”

The moon took a breath, unfurrowed his brow
“Thank you, my sister, for stopping me now.
“I’ve been feeling lonely and just out of sorts,
“But you bring me cheer, and some stunning rapports.”

I turned for a minute to bask in his glow
When things all went screwy and more I don’t know
But I turned my head back and the dishes did beckon,
But the moon shown a happier and nicer reflection!

Just for today
I write short lines
To focus say

Dawn will come soon
New light sparks fine
To hide old moon

I wander here
I wonder why
I feel sad fear

Late sojourn brings
A weary sigh
Watch fate now fling

Here beyond time
I feel strange grief
Aglow with rhymes

Here beyond space
All seems but brief
Soul wears no face

In this strange place
No motifs stand
None wears a face

Faceless I face
A barren land
Obscure this trace

Feel upon feel
Words make poetry
Touch now reveals

Thought follows thought
Surge finds poesy
In simple lot

Why all this strife?
Here madness hurls
Why lives a life

Who lives the dream?
Here in this swirl
Who fits the theme

Equate and add
Do sums add up?
Equate the fad

Address the vain
Pride fills big cup
Address the gain

Words come to mind
Words scream unheard
Word fail to find

Line after line
Gliding like birds
Lines that feel blind

Only words then
Rhyme after rhyme
Reason primes scan

Only words here
In space and time
Greet love sincere

The Lovers Moon

How do we meet under a lover’s moon?
What does this moon look like?
Will it give me a lover?
Or will it send me on my bike?

Why be under a lover’s moon
Does it imbibe powers of prowess?
Of does it hide their shyness
If in a state of near undress.

A harvest moon a blue moon
A waning and a waxing one
A new moon an old moon
And yet only one precious sun.

People cast their seed
On the first full moon in spring
They say it gives the best crops
And that’s saying something.

There are dances in the moonlight
For those with nefarious thoughts
Bet they‘d get a fright
When lycanthropics, rampage and cavort

On the night the moon is full what a shock for all the lovers
A werewolf jumps on them, just as their delights each uncovers
So blue moon new moon, harvest moon of just full
Which is the lover’s moon so my dreams I can fulfil?

Hello, old moon, my longtime friend
Here we are, just you and me.
As always, I am lifted up
Deep into your depths again
As if you watch my troubled world
And come each night to soothe my soul

Tonight I come to you again
To make our long acquaintance new
The world's off balance, I am too
Yet, you are steadfast, as a friend

In sorrow of my darkest hour
You warm my face like midnight sun
You comfort me and soon I know
I'll always have a place to come

You always seem to hear my pain
When no one else can understand
I know you well enough by now
A secret's safe in your good hands

Hello, old moon, my longtime friend
Here we are, just you and me.
As always, I am lifted up
Deep into your depths again
As if you watch my troubled world
And come each night to soothe my soul

Love is amorphous; it defies description.
Love is not an idea; it doesn't fit an ascription
Love fills our lives, the minute we are born.
As old moon fades and the new wraps her horn.

In your embraces, I have found refuge.
In the turbulent years before the deluge
To convince me, it only takes that one look.
That implies you're always near a fairy book.

As everything stops, your eyes speak to me.
My void was filled by love, and I feel full glee.
Your gaze tells me you'll adore me every day.
Whatever unfolds, you'll be there to see it by.

Sure enough, I've done some stuff in the past.
That feels so awful, even if my motives are cast
Experiencing them is an unbearable anguish.
Such a fate sets me that I exult as I languish.

You can't flee self; there's no place to hide.
It hurts deeply, it burns your soul and pride.
I cry, wishing you to kiss away my fears.
If you knew, I miss you to wipe my tears.

I know I can't run from myself or my fear.
And I know at such times I don't seem near.
What I feel for you is like blood in my veins.
That I dream of you despite all of the pain.

One Time

I turned the clock of time to look deeper into the divine; I turned the clock of time to see what is mine. The wheels keep spinning and the machine keeps rolling and I behold an oracle rising up from the sea and it is entering the galaxy guided by a strange satellite with millions of light years cursing by its side. I wasn’t sure what to make of it but it left me completely static.

It drifts and drifts circling around the outer layer of the sky bidding the old moon goodbye and somersaulting in thin air. Time has taken it to a new dimension when it suddenly collides with the heavens, the devil was waiting on the banks but the angels formed a long line and direct it into space.

It traveled a thousand miles in space breaking through the middle ground shooting out fire behind its tail and rising to a dimension that confuse the heart and soul of man. It explores the universe, gathering data in its throat with pinhole camera attached to it, it continues to drift in time until you see what lies in the shadows.

The temperature keeps growing with the time, and the mission keeps focusing on the divine; the dimension widens the suspicious broadens, and time and space compression expand beyond the distance .I can feel the electromagnetic wave pulling me and the distant relationship solidifying me and the feeling of hope is walking all over me.

The mission continues in the sky and I will hold on to gravity umtil I die, the gravitation fields are strong so I have to find a different place to land .

Mars is waiting for me but that mission cannot carry me. I need something bigger and broader that can withstand the nature of time and move further inland with the divine.

The planets are boiling and sooner or later a miracle will be exposed. The Earth will raise, Mars, Pluto and Venus will take you to the next level. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will meet you at noon and you will have dinner in the garden with earth apposite the lake, you will invite a thousand soldiers to dine and you will play the flute to bring back memory of your youth; time has just taken you on journey to understand the heat and prepare the fleet.
