Do i have to first change my name to
Poet Destroyer to top the list,
Or add my all three names like
Carol Sunshine Brown to come second?
Is it wearing sun glasses like Andrea Dietrich
In my profile picture that mandates me,
Or welcoming Soup freshers like SKAT-LOVE does
To be in the top four?
What does it really take?
Is it all about the P enclosed in the yellow star
Like the top threee?
Really?
What about suZ-D who is number 98 with that gold P,
Did she not harmonize her name like
Charmaine Chircop who is on 20
What does it really take?
Should i say its all about being a lady
To be in the top nine?
Or else its because in poetry men come number ten?
If so
Thanks to Vince Suzadail Jr. who made it there
And our own hero Becca Lucas who sealed the 100
Does it really take that?
Should i say its all about the profile picture?
Then i would have an answer for sharon weimer
who came on number 11
Would Carolyn Devonshire say i am right on that?
I dont think so not our number five
Then what is it all about?
Should i say its all about the US flag?
If so then thats why Linda-Marie SweetHeart came on number 6
But what about Robert A. Dufresne who is below
Vicky Tsiluma a Kenyan?
On that One has P and the other lacks a photo
I got it the former has no photo
So am i right then?
That to be on this list you must not be from Africa?
No at last i disagree with my view
Because Wilma Neels is on number 38
And…99 Adeleke Adeite
At least that's kind of fair
To Africa
So do i have the answer i wanted?
No. Nott until i went back to my poems
And made a great discovery
These are the same people
Who put ink on my poems
These are the people i read their poems
And i curse my mother for feeding me
With pumpkins
These are the poets we all treasure
The famous 100
who deserve to be on the wall of fame
Even now i guess they are the people
That will drop comments on This
As others read, get bored and walk a way cursing my master piece
Not caring about Killing my dreams of becoming 101
I think that's why my all links have that number
101 love poems from Rodgers Roger
Yet i posted an elegy
These are the book worms
That know punctuation better
And can determine a right type of their poem
These are the ones who never post stuff like
,./;'' am trying ';./=/
A Futile Death by Wilma Neels
Flying over the place that use to be my home
I’m glancing at the once blue green seascape
Transformed to a murky coal black scene
A faucet has been opened
When everything went up in flames
Amidst all the confusion
I lost everything I loved
Flying over, a silent prayer is prayed
Please keep them safe
Please close the hole
This is the only home we know,
As I sit on a rock
The sadness overwhelms me,
As my sister slips away
She has lost the battle
The oil slick has gone thicker
It’s gaining power with every hour
I pray dear Lord of heaven and earth
May her final breath not be in vain
I flap my wings in a silent salute
Farewell dear sister, you will be missed
May this be the last time,
I witness such ugliness…

Contest: Why oh Why?
Sponsored by: Constance ~ A Rambling Poet
A poetry convention is a wow
Our writes we endeavour to plough
We'll meet so many friends
To enhance writing trends
Our strengths are as thick as the bough
To my table I have decided to seat
Three ladies whom I'd so love to meet
They are favourites of mine
And they will be for some time
Their poetry to read is my treat
The first lady to seat is a gem
Her novels just shine from her pen
She's a New Jersey girl
Who makes my heart twirl
Her poetry flows 'tres bien'
The second lady to sit at my table
If given the chance, I'd surely enable
She's Maltese, she's Celene
A Mediterranean Queen
Her name would be beautifully labelled
The third lady who I now show to her chair
Her writing just makes me openly stare
It's oozes life's desire
It makes me aspire
Table Top Mountain, I wish I was there
Not for any contest, but I thank Michael for the idea, ty
Thank you Carolyn Devonshire, Celene Crescent & Wilma Neels for being you,***

In my quest to escape monotony at work I stumbled upon this poetry site
Little did I know I would excavate a gem with a zest for life
She is also a lullaby songstress; in between my spelling and grammar blunders,
We’re a recipe for madness: crazy blogs, even stranger emails, our laughter and tears
I unearthed Nikko aka Missy, "the spelling queen" my friend with a gracious soul!

I went to have soup at a table atop a mountain, when who should I meet there?
A very pretty, sassy, missy; she did a 3/4 turn--CrAsH! (2 cabs, fender bender)!
Her laughter and madness, just totally contagious...even strangers want to kiss her!
Through her wonderful words, each petal revealed a bit more sparkle, a stunning gleam
I was so right! Wilma, "the crazy one", she's my true gem of a friend, a vivacious soul!

Loads of fun, thanks Missy for embracing my madness :D

REFRACTING REFLECTIONS
"Imagine a lovely garden, tea for two, and this story . . . "
All the barriers broken down
Nothing left to shelter it,
Her heart now exposed
The first time in years
She has left it all bare,
Unlike all the other times
When the excuses piled up
Before it even started
“Why would you do things differently, this time around?
She looked at me, with a puzzled face
“I don’t know” was her reply
Maybe I need to see what will happen
If I let things be -
Not let my fears
be my principle decision maker
just take the plunge,
I might find that little rainbows
Lead to bigger things
Moments of happiness
Or even love
That has eluded me…
Maybe I am ready now
To embrace
Not having control
Over my emotions
Whatever they might be -
I looked at her,
Holding back tears
With just one wish,
That I would be as brave
As her one day,
That the mirror image
I see, be
Reflective in me
Maybe that day is closer
Then what you might think
The echo came -
It may only be
a breath away…
Refracting Reflections

The rains in fall on the Serengeti lands
It's impending approach is in natures plans
From barren to lush bringing droplets of pure
Seasonal they are, but will it remain her renewing cure
For we treat her lands so bad, so mean we don't console
Will we ever understand to our neglect that we extol
There will be a day, when these vast expanses turn to dust
And humans and their wants, will turn their iron into rust
We have to take a stand, before it's all to late
And sit around the mediating table before we reach hell's gate
Decisions for the good to be made for our futures kin
As the heads of State's shake hands, from this room within
Inspired by Wilma Neels poem "Renewal" ty.

Take me to the stars and beyond by W. Neels and I. Desai
The stars must be aligned
orbiting around our naked bodies
that explains the tingling feeling
from all the love we've made,
my senses are still reeling
my body is yearning,
yearning and wishing for you
to touch, to caress,
to take control of
every aroused inch of it
to the flickering stars and beyond
reverberating through every fiber of my being...
wishful this union will last a lifetime and more...
I open my eyes and see heaven
breathing heavily,
staring at me with a content and satisfied look.
And in that look,
I see tomorrow...
I see...
forever
"Reason for it being my favorite:
My very first collab and it was with my best friend"
"Myself and my friend wrote this piece,
via text messages, he lives in a different city and
this was the end result..30/01/2010"
By Wilma N. Neels
My senses jumped into action
When I became aware of you,
Your presence overwhelming
My body,
My mind,
Only had one desire
Like a song without a chorus
Incomplete...
Like a fire without a flame
No warmth displayed...
You draw me into you,
Like a moth to a flame
Slowly floating
My feet didn’t touch the ground,
Until I stood in front of you
Barely touching,
The chemistry palpable
Undeniable too
It had to happen
If not today,
Someday soon
I wanted to reach out
Touch your face,
Play with the lines around
Your eyes…
I wanted more,
So much more…
I wanted to know if I hug you once, could it be forever.

We are like a box of crayons
Diverse and unique
The difference is; crayons
Does not battle to be the best color in the box
They are content in creating a stunning picture
No matter if one color got preference over the other
We need to stop making life a competition
The joy of putting each other down
Last only as long as your effort is highlighted
Tomorrow something else takes centre stage
The only person left with the scar is the one you put down today
For your temporary moment in the limelight
Life is about more than that

It... was all supposed to be a simple meet
Between friends with a hug and a kiss
She felt good in my arms
And I thought I got to have more of this
But after the kiss everything was a blur
From my eyes I saw me
And from mine she saw her
Somehow we changed bodies, but how could this be
I quickly looked down and OH she has my bits
And blocking my view are these two large t-ts
I cried for my manhood
I know this might sound crude
But I think it was the feminine side
That just came out and I couldn’t hide
We departed I needed time to think
I could feel my depression at the brink
Then I thought, O’ girl what a joy
I’ll nip down the shop and get me a toy
Three days later I was still in bed
Saying got to have more before the batteries are dead.
Then, I had a conviction, this isn’t mine to abuse
So three days later I put the toy to good use.
Then he, I mean she called we have to meet
And go through the ritual of how we greet
So between friends with a hug and a kiss
I felt odd hugging me like this
Then it happened and I was back with me bits
As I looked down without the obstruction of two large t-ts
But I had this nasty burning sensation
An itch, scratchy feeling not to mention
I ran in the toilet and examined me friend
She had abused him so much he had a raw end....
