Similar to scrutinizing
an abstract painting,
this author begetting
obscure words dumbfounding
readers, he eludes
(no shade tree fore rest)
clear cut discerning,
yet oft times his words
garner reviews raving
esoteric word choice,
how mind boggling
to this logophile despite
more than one reading
brow (sir) furrowed -
cognitive region scrunching,
no matter intent concentration
utter futility attempting
bedeviled comprehension, whether
literary master (me? ha...
not yet), among pantheon partying,
but nonetheless birthing
present day profoundly thought provoking,
undoubtedly tirelessly expending
mental energy eventually exhausting
effort in futility understanding,
asper mine stymied
linkedin attention getting
(then just as quickly losing)
registering resignation defeat alluding
to challenge physical prowess daunting
engagement well matched savvy sparring
partner, or possibly life
and death battling
against unwittingly aggressive brutal questing
archenemy, sans toward all living
species wretched nemesis ultimately deciding
mortality tacitly accepted proffering
transient longevity refusing
to compromise, haggle, negotiate,
et cetera casting
deadened demise of victor or villain
all thru civilization starring
as unopposable tour
de force quietly biding
end date, versus indiscriminately snatching
hero, heroine, coward,
et cetera requiring
impossible ransom while donning
mask of Melpomene
(Tragedy), or trumpeting
Thalia (Comedy), no exit stage door left
only joie de vivre
until last second ticking
unbeknownst unexpected, and uninviting
deathly hallows ringtone alarming
anonymous (oh Henry)
words worth struggling
to hash meaningfulness, viz
finite existence germinating
since birth, yet
terminal realization pressing
with greater frequency when aging,
and deafeningly ear splitting
amplitude bite the bullet clamoring
to tread welcome matt acquiescing
unavoidable phase of dying
devoid of any bargain, but requiring
unconditionally punishingly suffering
silent non binding
resolution, no exemption decrying
unfair contractual obligation, nor unionizing
worth a fig yore of
speech as cosmic arbiter
blithely doth shear - pruning,
without rhyme nor reason meeting
identical fate toward everyone
even posthumous destiny yours truly awaiting.
Since time immemorial
happenstance bestowed *****sapiens
ability to become self aware
double edged figurative sword
allowing, enabling, providing...
forebears of yesteryear
to marvel at life, and
reckon with death,
which mixed blessing
confronts twenty first century
man/womankind with dilemma,
albeit reconciling mortality
linkedin with consciousness
heightened, tested, under_scored...
particularly at demise dearly departed
inadvertently affect
upon surviving family members
hijacking, offsetting, upending...
fracturing emotional composure
prompting immediate questions
regarding purposefulness living
nee, being born essentially to die
predestined to pass away
identical fate decreed upon
all animals and plants
bolstered by believing deity
foreordained every creature
past, present, and future,
yet most pronounceable afflicting
non denominational, non
religious, non sectarian
case in point Unitarian,
vis a vis visa versa secular humanists,
especially nonsensical poet wannabe
riddled with perplexity
about nature of being alive
wondering what explains
essence constituting individual fluke
finding meaning scuttling
across world wide web
hither and yon, to and fro
dumbfounded at futility
absolute zero adequate answers
(again, unless one subscribes
to codified doctrinal dogma
i.e. religion, faith, creed...)
I attest as garden variety primate
baffled, flummoxed, nonplussed...
why chance genetic dice throw
gifted me finite time
solely to contemplate
(more than just my navel)
meaningfulness analogous
to scrutinizing Möbius strip
unable to identify
inscrutable mystery
defining random existence
specifically essence
happenstance/circumstance begat me

Whispered Spirals of lucid feelings ‘ jest and mock within as morning shakes me gently from my slumber .
My thoughts bleed away from that invisible country of dreams ‘
their importance and meaningfulness
‘fades quickly into the dark pool of the forgotten.
A new day of living has come ‘
And from that stillness I now begin a new cycle of existence within this world of men , the obligatory ,
and Subsequent twenty four hours of perception and required lucidity .
A tide of realisation begins to float my priorities and fears from that sleeping ocean’s floor .
Positive Self talk and gratitudes are spoken softly to abate and ground My mood for this coming new day.
Knowing If I was to Foolishly jump straight into the time of waken without care ,
Then This realisation would shock me painfully and lead to panicked floundering’s.
I remind myself with factual neutrality’ and disciplined optimism
that I’ve never lived this date
‘ though it looks similar , ‘
today is new
‘today anything could happen,
and probably will .
Aware of déjà vu*’s lexical meaningfulness
my cognition strives to respond with truthfulness
toward preaching about God and His goodness
that drives me back toward nostalgic blissfulness---
at the time He gave me life eternal against worthlessness.
Exposed to déjà vu’s intermittent engagement
my heart thanks the Lord for grace-fulfillment
while reminiscing His assured heavenly settlement
in testifying of divine encounter granting blest endowment---
every time I share peace cheers with encouragement.
Confronted with déjà vu’s seemingly enigmatic nature
my soul, ransomed by the Saviour, avoids mystical venture
for the pursuit of effective faith-posture along mental health nurture
propelled by nourishing compassionate gesture---
when at times, I’m beset with bitterness and pride’s torture.
Learning déjà vu’s facets midst psychological insight
my mind praises Christ for wondrous mental faculties’ height
along recollection, remembering and familiarity delight
bursting “already seen” remark yet with uncertainty-blight---
thus, time I have to check toward accuracy that’s right.
Now facing déjà vu’s essence vis-à-vis factual reality
my spirit believes in moment’s functionality along versatility
never an illusion, but proven by experience in its sensibility
especially when dealing with matters of life’s vitality---
since time* is God’s creation, aiding our existence-verity.
*Psalm 31:14-15 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand…

HEART THAT RECEIVES THE BLESSING OF THE LORD
Our heart receives the blessings of the Lord with His salvation-security
For us to enjoy eternal life’s guaranty
According to His Word’s authority
That inspires us to do His will with worshipful verity.
Our heart receives the blessings of the Lord with His peace-restoration
For us to delight in His regeneration’s jubilation
According to His assured redemption
That secures us from doubts by His truth’s protection.
Our heart receives the blessings of the Lord with His fellowship-moment
For us to abide in His compassion’s settlement
According to His merciful involvement
That guards us against selfishness’ detriment.
Our heart receives the blessings of the Lord with His time-meaningfulness
For us to optimize hours with vital effectiveness
According to His designed productiveness
That moves us toward usefulness’ fruitfulness.
Our heart receives the blessings of the Lord with His joy in service-exercise
For us to labour in His work’s enterprise
According to His heavenly price
That enables us for diligent sacrifice.

“Please.”
A befitting word for filling up the blanks. Today is a blessing so far, with bright sunlight and a moment of efforts perhaps could gather you with a butterfly wandering around on the grass, here and there, a rather nice beginning.
But...
You had darker circles under your eyes. A pale face with a depressed mood, and it is almost always about those gloomy darker shadows, that drags the inner mind in ponderance , how far I am in, already, without permission, or even with permission, without asking questions?
I had a hundred and thousand reasons to believe that it is a Big, Big No, to think for stopping, and to stop decisively.
And, I was pleading inside, all along, that it is also my insanity, caught up in between.
And I am just that.
I am still there.
You are too.
My observation has a meaningfulness of anxiety in me. Those gazes always needed to pause and pause in silence, in written texts of a beautiful poem, where a poet earns a kingdom of flying colors in the heavens and the earth, in blues and waving sounds and also about floating lives, as these are all about a poem, a poem meaningful enough, to be composed in the aftermath.
I did not look back.
I sustained with all my failures of those unspoken probabilities.
Like the footsteps of an unseen postman, on the other side of the door.
