Lord God, You Are My Going Up Director

January 12 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 34-36 Key Verse – Genesis 35:1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee… LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GOING UP DIRECTOR Lord God, You are my going up Director, calling me toward godly engagement Thank You for communing with me midst Your divine contentment Forgive me for not cleaving to You because of my wavering commitment Please rebuke my disobedience against Your commandment. Lord God, You are my going up Director, cleansing me so I can dwell in Your grace, of best finest Thank You for hearkening unto me as I go through faith-test Forgive me for not valuing Your gifts to the fullest Please deal well with me as I strive to do what is rightfully best. Lord God, You are my going up Director, caring for me in my distress and frustration Thank You for building me up to strengthen my devotion Forgive me for not pursuing after You in earnest dedication Please help me stay in Your plan, enclosed by Your compassion. Lord God, You are my going up Director, causing me to be fruitful in Your prosperity Thank You for upholding me to overcome travail’s difficulty Forgive me for not responding with gratitude’s sincerity Please set me in Your service-pillar, submitting to Your authority. Lord God, You are my going up Director, converting me to have eternal life beyond measure Thank You for inviting me to abide in Your heavenly pleasure Forgive me for not prioritizing Your Word I should treasure Please bless me with meaningfulness in my days despite pressure. Lord God, You are my going up Director, curing me of my deficiencies to be a whole person Thank You for healing me with Your mercy in every sickness-season Forgive me for not seeking Your well-being lesson Please drive me to Your mount of holiness for righteous reason. Lord God, You are my going up Director, correcting me of bad attitude for the sake of Your name Thank You for satisfying me with Your fellowship flame Forgive me for not inhabiting Your granted territory I must claim Please reign over me by Your leadership of sovereign fame.
