The Passing

The passing

It is so long ago; the memory is fuzzy as an old photo,
the room was warm, the coal fire burned lustily
I looked out of the window the street lamp swayed,
and snow fell. I turned to my grandmother and said
If the snow continues, I will take out my sledge.
she was still her reading glasses had dropped on the floor,
oh, yes I knew but kept looking out it looked
So peaceful I will stay here and admire snow fall forever.
I picked up her reading glasses placed them back on her
face, we had no phone I had to put on an overcoat and
tell our neighbour, but before living, put more coal
in the oven, a helpless gesture, but I didn`t want her to be cold.
Many people came; they took her away while I looked
out of the window watching falling snow

You were leaning over the rustic, wooden bridge.

Elements of a cold autumn eve approaching.
I just was entranced by the sea of you.
Black full hair, corduroy pants, tweed jacket.

Book of our favored poet, rested on the bridge lustily.
~ ee Cummings, his poetry blessed our union, for eternity.
That magnificent, modern poetry, not meant to be in any form.
Still lights my soul and will for all eternity!

"Kisses are a better fate than wisdom." ee Cummings

"Life is not a paragraph, and  death, I think, is no parenthesis."
 ee Cummings

These words upon my heart, then and now......
And for the brilliance of eternity.......

Frog Adventures - journey always continues - A Collaboration

The Frog lands on earth smiling
Nothing has changed In mirror reflections
Bearing gifts from his mission on Mars
He met the cow who jumping over the moon
On the milky way he lay back rocking thoughts
Upon the moons' smile on a beautiful memory
Laughing having fun In warm joy
When lightning struck
Striking a beautiful tune sings out
Watching the dish elope with the spoon
Crying It looks like the cat Is playing the fiddle
Sadly tugging heart strings the temperature drops
Every which way swaying lost
One craft on this ocean a ghost ship
Into a shadow horizon
I sail to you In light of the moon

Are you sure? That Is not quite the story of the Frog that seamen tell. He lost all his gifts when he fell Into the sea. This Is the way seamen tell It.

Captain Jamie Lee Is at the wheel the ghost ship was the Dramallach Raven
A fine upstanding bunch of pirate lads not one of them was a craven
Now out of the corner of his eye Jamie Lee did spy
Something strange and he almost gave a startled cry
A Frog fell Into the sea small and green
Frog overboard He did lustily cry his eyes sharp and keen
The mate threw over the line and then to crews surprise
A little green frog holding a brollie stood before their eyes
This little Frog lifted up and placed on the poop deck
A poor little fellow he was and he looked quite a wreck
It was then Mr. Frog noticed Jamie Lee was a ghost
And he turned white and lean Instead of being green
As he sat shaking looking up at his host
"Now Mr. Frog what will I do with you oh deary me
Bash you on the head then off with your legs and have you for my tea"

Don't panic, didn't happen, just a bit of ghostly pirate humour there. There were no Frogs harmed In the making of this poem. Now, where was I? oh yes.......

"Now Mr. Frog what will I do with you oh deary me
I think we'll take you back to Ireland across the briny sea"

of mortality

As my death lightly wanders
through eternity

Space captures deducted form

PALEO POLARITY

hands rapturously slashing satori, bang !
light droplets filter down, bats brushing skin
to fly knowingly low, then water gushed
through cracks, bring —
snakes, spiders, scorpions across our toes
stones spoke in singular sighs as
golden orb set in whirlwinds high
velvet night descends, opposites attract
poles swing — >

cave was nowhere, yet everywhere
Mozart symphonies were future
shadows written on our vacant palms
to sojourn with Harry the Strandloper
was unspoken song by GRACIOUS ALL
for beloved paleo pole points, Call !
Khoisan shores we tread profoundly
adorned with seashell bracelets
before on red concert seats to
sit enraptured, opposites horned

no thoughts tornadoed continents waiting
our ignited centres spaced dichotomy
unnamed species inhabited surrounds
we knew not of wisdom pounds
crystal shafts in dimness protected
our irises reflecting stalactite,
dolomite, Dynamite !
anchovy offering themselves
 for hunger appeased
white-black apart yet fulcrum starts

we were Power of One in two
~ seasons our compass
naked emperor with empress embraced
celebration, protection or
fool interventions unknown
variables, not yet defined

contrary poles merging with heather
whispering as copper painted patterns
etheric on grotto’s sotto ~
voices faraway clamped our knees
it was future shackles of Bastille
through time tunnels terrible
vacant minds a pair to stare
simply sky, earth, two lode stars as one
wolves, bears, squirrel frequencies
to dare a similar stare !

womb then lustily grew —
berries, tubers fat ripe
nipples started leaking, crows cackled
she was born in running river, pinking water
cord to trout we fed, who offered us
their firm flesh in turn
clouds melted into navel smooth
moon our compass soon enabled
cavern walls slapping spring to bring

spirit expanded fontanelle
winds chiming bells
hammer forged to chop stone found
swallows still equalled fellow tribes
harmonious cynosures more inscribed

my eyes drew out his to flush awake
nostrils flared flaked, two at stake
slowly malachite dragons dissolved
paleo quintessences evolved
swinging space-time into now
once more polarity’s
sublime ~

Returning a pearl within each silver breath lining one gem treasure
sweeping over deep sea waves tides turn in loves pure pleasure

Blue unfolding white washed emotions, sweeping over feelings
touching feathers of an angel floats inside warm strokes a celestial being

Woven inside golden petals kiss the magic heart of this shell opens
hovering fingers dance fluttering hot waves galloping upon the crest breaks

Sweetly landing on the sands of loves sweet beauty happiness sings
in paradise holding two souls join hands bells of Heaven rings

Walking towards a sun setting dream rose gold crowning beauty
Eden desire bites from the tree of knowledge faraway uniting hearts duty

Sweetly dance together in an ocean tune flying without wings
salt of this earth wet lips tasting destiny kissing your feet love rings

Beauty graces sea nymph with eyes of diamonds and bright sea-gold hair
wonders of all majestic earth no other maiden glows quite so fair

Heavenly notes echoes sweetly in the majesty of her alluring love songs
praise pours forth as she shines to delight her ever adoring throngs

Sun and sky conspire to gift her a wondrously staged ocean of calm
all the astounded world bows and eats lustily from her gentle palm

Tales of her beauty greater than palaces of diamonds, rubies and gold
angelic countenance that was the envy of legendary fairy queens of old

King Poseidon bowed down in defeat, laying love vows at her dainty feet
unable to control the ardor of his massively deep white-hot love heat

She that wept for a day and time with but one deserving male human soul
soft touches and wet kisses with that lost prince her secret love goal

Returning as a pearl within each silver breath she offers her treasure
sweeping over deep sea waves she rides, a dream of loves pure pleasure

The War Games

The war games

Yesterday afternoon in Finland, as happy people walked about
content in their world of social welfare and full employment
a train loaded with armoured tanks was seen heading for
the Russian border as spring light danced on the lakes.
What do I know, that might be the military's yearly outing?
As the wolves howl lustily to the stars and the trout wakes
in the streams of spring.
Is it, God forbid, a strategic baiting to divert the Russian army?
From Ukraine. If so, this is a dangerous war game.
Finland has a long border with Russia, 1400 kilometres, therefore
2-to 300 tanks a drop in the forest, but enough to make a point.
I prefer to think it is a manoeuvre performed in days of light.

Premium Member Elevated Thoughts

The little imp bawled lustily
as it lay in its perambulator
there by the water fountain
in a secluded garden
right in the middle of a concrete jungle,
disturbing my elevated thoughts
that churned and churned inside my mind
on how to kill those pesky flies
that infested my rundown abode.

It was no use for me
to kick any brilliant idea around,
so long as that pesky brat
disturbed the silence all around.
Why even the doves stopped cooing
and other birds stopped chirping,
whilst most decided that 'twas best
to search for a quieter place.

So I walked up to his comely nurse
sitting contentedly on a bench
and scratching my unshaven face
I quite politely asked
why the little cherub cry so much!

She looked me up and down
and down and up, no doubt
disgusted by what she discerned.
"Maybe he's seeing a devil,"
she replied, cooing at the cherub
that made its bright new pram
quiver with yelping wails.

"Or maybe he's thirsty,"
scathingly I replied.
Cherub my foot, I thought.
And sighing I slowly repaired
back to my solitary bench
and thought and thought on
how I could kill those parasites
that bothered me as much
as that little cherub in the pram.
