Stars Above They Shine For You

The stars above they shine for you
Since that dreadful day you died
Since that dreadful day I’ve cried
For my heart it almost broke in two
Looking skyward I can see
the stars are shining down on me
Your smile in every starlit night
Assures me son that you’re alright
You’re now with souls who passed before
Those souls were there at heaven’s door
To welcome you
To heal your soul
To be with you forever more
So now when I look up above
Each night I blow a kiss my love
A kiss for you
A kiss for Dad
Remembering all the love we had
Each night before I go to bed these words I sing inside my head
*Look at the stars, look at how they shine for you and everything you do…

Following In Your Footsteps

I want to follow in your footsteps
and do the things that you used to do
I want to follow in your footsteps
and be guided always by you
I don't want to have role models
I don't look up to my elders that live next door
I want to be more like the one that my heart does adore
I will follow in your footsteps where ever they may lead
I will follow in your footsteps in all that I do
For dear Lord I want to be more like you
walk the walk talk the talk no matter what the cost
I will follow your footsteps and never again will be lost.

our persecuted brothers and sisters fear for their life because they Love the Lord
and believe in God, others torture them, kill them, burn houses down, kidnap the children,
please pray for all theese people, a friend gave my son a pair of shoe lases with the words
walk in their shoes, they from open doors and a fundraising thing or prayer to help bring
hope to those who are suffering. www.gounderground.org its the youth one. a friend
also tried to attack me for my faith I simply said i will not doubt God I will not weiver
nothing will change my mind, I live for God they just lost right now and can not understand
why we live our life acording to Gods' word they will find truth one day. . If we follow our
Lords footsteps he will lead the way ahead of us clearing all obsticals out of the way and he
will keep on guiding us on the road that brings us home Amen,

Angel in the Clouds

Sometimes you look up to the sky
And maybe you can find
In a large bank of clouds
The face and figure of an angel with wings
Who’s looking down on you.

It may be someone
You knew from the past
Who went to Heaven a long time ago.

And maybe that angel appears here now for you
Just to say “Hello”
And to make this moment very special.

You feel an enchantment in your heart
And sense a soft tingling on your cheek . . .

As if a kiss was placed there by this angel
With an encouraging touch on your shoulder
Giving you a wondrously warm feeling inside.

With this magical moment as you’re touched
By this angel . . .

You realize this angel loves you very much
And just came by to look after you
And to send you a joyous blessing
Right from Heaven—personally to you!

Amen.

Many are the sounds that are so pleasing to these old ears.
I now treasure musing about them in the autumn of my years!
How I cherished hearing my bride say, "I'll always love you, dear!"
The laughter of our little ones who brought to our home so much cheer!

As a lad I recall hearing the wailing whistle of the midnight train.
The rumble of the thunder and upon the roof, the softly falling rain.
I've heard the singing of telephone lines strung on poles along the road.
The birds in the meadow lifting their song in a cheerful, choral ode!

I'm in awe of the haunting honk of geese winging their southward bourne.
Hearing the clarion bugle call of "Taps" for a fallen hero causes me to mourn.
I've heard the soothing hymn of water flowing o'er rocks in a mountain stream.
I look up in the pristine Colorado sky and hear majestic eagles scream!

Ah, to relax and listen to the beautiful harmony of a hundred violins!
Have you heard the fans cheering when the hometown ball team wins?
I've heard the vagabond winds soughing softly through the towering yew.
I've heard the dissonance of His beasts howling and roaring at the zoo!

Alas, I now hear the creaking of my bones when arising from my bed!
Oft I've heard that still, quiet voice as I thank Him for my daily bread!
All about us are pleasant sounds to savor if we take time to hearken!
(That is if you can tune out that mutt down the street that's always barkin'!)

I got my eyes set on you
Got my eyes set on you
Saw right through the lies too...
Yeah, wanted you to know, boo

Time turns to dust this time
Wipe off disgraceful grime
From off your feet
Of incomplete

The aftermath of your wrath
Got me one foot off His path
The aura of oblivion is on fire
I am but a balloon, going higher

And, you, you're to blame
Funny, you think me lame
You wreck me with your crooked ways
You don't even care these days...days...

I float and drift away
You let go of me...
It's your fault I'm this way...
At least I am free...

I am in the boat of shame
I might even dive deep this time
You played me like a game
I hit the road like a rusty, old dime

You ruined my frame of mind
You made me almost blind
I did mind, getting left behind
Good luck, trying to find me
Good luck, for IDC...my mystery...
So, come find me possibly

It's too late to fix this awful scar
It's too late, you've gone too far
Guess it's fate we remain who we are
Guess you will forget me, a lonely jar

You were my beloved friend
You uplifted me so much
You gave me a hand to lend
We were so close in touch

There's no where to roam
Might as well head home
I saw right through your pain
In exchange, you gave me acid rain
A rain that will eventually go down the drain
A rain that has been driving me literally insane

But, obviously, IDC anymore...
You don't either...
You will never see to the core...
Oh, won't bother...

I avert my silent gaze in another direction
You gave me rejection instead of affection
You told me the exaggerated truth at last
But, honey, it's too late...left it in the past
In the past where it truly belongs
I look up and ascend your wrongs
IDC if you don't accept my forgiveness
Regardless, I don't hold ugly grudges

I got time to let go...
Of sorrow and woe
Wipe off the dust from your feet
Then, from here, we will meet
Won't shed no tears...drown them with cheers
Now, you and I care, so please...
Don't even be a goofy tease!
We will start over, no worries

The aura of His unconditional mercy appears
To be expanding so at ease

He got His eyes set on us
His graceful gaze is a plus

We are now two balloons
In the blessed breeze

Mama's Shady Tree

I am not going to let this world stress me out anymore because the Lord answers prayers. Recently, I passed away and made it all the way to heaven. This time, I am one of God’s holy angels.

Lord, I need to step out of this world again and find myself a shady tree.
Folks are killing each other for no reason at all. Yesterday, the sun start crying
because they build those skyscrapers too high in these neighborhoods. Well, I am too scared to go in an elevator, downtown. Every time I look up at those skyscraper buildings, my arthritis kicks in. Lord, in the morning I need a little bit of sunshine on my face. Where is mama's shady tree?

Every time I pick up the newspaper, I see corruption, violence, and bad news in this world. Mama used to say, “What the world needs now, is love, sweet love?” Look at these kids bringing guns and knives to school and participating in lockdowns, instead of lunch breaks. I know some of these kids are spoiled rotten to the core.

Anyway, the kids figure it is economical to sell drugs than to attend Yale or Princeton
college. Well, too many video games and all that bling, bling rap music on TV are
destroying their young minds. Look at the young girls having babies and leaving a helpless
and poor baby in the trash bins for the garbage men to pick up. We have babies making
more babies.

Oh, heavenly Father and sweet Jesus, I need my shady tree to recover from all this mess! Lord, we got too many children ripping and running these streets without fathers at home, providing clothes, food, and shelter.

Cassius, please bring your mama a glass of ice water. Have you heard about the good news, “Jesus is coming back” Lord, just let me live 999 years or live as long as Moses lived.

Well, I remember, back in the day, whenever, I had any troubles in the world, I just go look for mama's shady tree. Cassius, please bring mama her slippers, so I can rest these tired old feet.

Now, bless his little soul. Well, I don't have to worry about it anymore, because I died and went to heaven.

Rust Never Sleeps In Machine Town

Rust Never Sleeps In Machine Town
(Android Life Tied To The Town Clock Tower)

Intelligent machines tread heavy on ancient dust
Streets vacated in history make room for bots
Above the square a tower clock holds power
With the motion of two simple hands it moves
Counts out eternity, motion, order and more
The last remnant of the biologic ones now gone

Androids pray to Saint Nano of the Seconds
May their subatomic quarks live on forever
Synchronized down to the fraction of divinity
Where particles take mysteries apart

AI has no choice but to look up at high noon
It is a western town with no cowboys or saloons
Two bright lights fashioned in their heads go out
Rust waits for them in the afterlife suspended

Something must have happened to twelve o’clock
As the time piece above the town strikes five
Hands no longer move and what else is new
When androids cry they rust in place

Perhaps Machine Number One stepped in
The Master Programmer planned the end
Nothing exists for miles around aside from dust
Ghosts fill in the distance between heaven and earth
Rust never sleeps when machines shut down
For creators of the biologic ones time runs out

Each Passing Day

As I wake up
Early in the morning anew;
Still hoping that the sun
Shall come shining through.

The nights before
In the dark I was alone;
Crushed and shattered,
I did silently moan.

The mornings after
Were the same as before;
Sorrow engulfed my mind;
As it did to my heart's core.

I didn't know
What hit and struck me;
Worse, no one knew how
To save me from agony.

I couldn't eat
And sleep well enough;
Presence of mind I needed
During those times so tough.

The pain of anguish
Put me in disbelief;
How could I overcome
The anxiety and grief?

Now I look up
As my teary eyes I close;
I say a fervent prayer
To help me stay composed.

Each passing day
Is a blessing from God above;
He makes me all the more abound
In faith, in hope, and love.

Mother

I wrote this for my mom since it's the anniversary of her passing today

Today marks the day, my heart's heavy stone,
A decade has gone by, yet grief fills my heart even more so at home
Mom, I'm missing you more than words could ever say,
Every milestone, every memory, every second of everyday.

I wish you could've met Ethan he’s a King for shore,
Your love would've wrapped him tight, and he still would of loved you more.
I reminisce on robbed moments, celebrations we should of shared,
Memories that are incomplete without you there.

ALS took you from me, a cruel, heartless fate,
Leaving me feeling lost and alone , a love and feeling that’s impossible to imitate.
I wish you were here, to help guide me through life's strife, my true compass, always steering me right to the light. Before you passed I used to think it’s darkest at night, but since I lost you I see that I wasn’t right.
It's darkest in my head now that you’ve gone away.
To share in joys, or even wipe my tears away.

In dreams and memories, you're still by my side,
A constant presence who saw right through me & All the pain that I hide.
True love and acceptance you always did provide,
The Love we shared nothing could ever compare.
Even though physically Im aware your not there,
I try to be like you, the best mom which no one can compare.
One day I’ll see you again that I have to believe.
When I look in the mirror it makes sense I see that you do live on inside of me.
When I look up at the sky I hope to see you there ,
Pain free and smiling keeping an eye on all of us from up there.

I'll tell Ethan stories of you're honesty, guidance and light,
The way you shone, like a star, on a darkest night.
He'll know your spirit, your strength through
And though , even though you're gone, the mark you left was pure and true

Today's a rough day, but I'll get through the pain,
Knowing you're watching over me, guiding me through life and all that remains, a beacon in the night,
Guiding me forward, until we met again

I love you mom,
I hope I'm making you proud
