January 19 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Exodus 5-7
Key Verse – Exodus 5:1 … Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FEAST HOLDER
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, demanding for my best sacrifice
Thank You for enabling me to work with Your mercies that suffice
So I can overcome idleness and unworthy tiring exercise
As my tasks You bless with Your guided decisions so wise.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, designing for me plans of perfect beauty
Thank You for accompanying me to walk along Your deliverance-security
So I can go by Your ways’ serving opportunity
As my feet stay in Your will’s protective duty.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, driving me toward heavenly treasures
Thank You for making me win through Your grace, despite pressures
So I can enjoy freely in Your covenant that insures
As my pilgrimage You maximize midst granted divine pleasures.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, directing me seek You against anguish
Thank You for causing me to trust You midst temptation to languish
So I can listen to Your voice I must not fail to distinguish
As my soul leans on Your charging might no one can extinguish.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, dressing me up in Your commandment
Thank You for reminding me to appreciate Your wondrous heart-engagement
So I can learn from Your good and great judgment
As my spirit rests in Your care, comfort and contentment.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, declaring to me life-changing miracle
Thank You for teaching me Your immutable oracle
So I can stand by Your tests and trials upon faith-fortifying pinnacle
As my body loathes the stench of carnality-contaminated fleshly tabernacle.
Lord God, You are my feast Holder, digging for me waters of provisions
Thank You for lifting me up unto Your satisfying portion
So I can drink from Your abounding filling rations
As my sins to You confess, grateful that You forgive my transgressions.

Life and Death in two separated clusters, Klimt draws conflicts.
The serenity of his cycle of life is bright in pure color, he depicts.
A modern dance of death, yet he offers pause in what is inevitably set.
Death savoring in anticipation, musing with the decision “Not yet”.
Idly, death looks on, a sinister smile upon the gruesome face.
He has no semblance of human form except a skull in place.
Bones clutch a scepter as he seems to have found something to amuse.
His robe of blue adorned by crosses, is he deciding which one to choose ?
The manifestation of death at a distance from the slumbering cycle of life.
A child to the young women, a muscular male and the old, fear no strife.
Beautiful rounded forms clad with gently patterned clothes,
Seemingly unperturbed by the grim reaper, everyone loathes.
There is an eternal confrontation between death and life.
Depictions of death usually show as dangerous as a knife.
Opposed to the life depicted in a passive sleep like state.
The purposeful asymmetrical balance is to differentiate.
Death lies in wait in his blue robe with many a gaping grave.
And yet hope of a reconciliation, seems that he will save.
Not the evil lurking death, tempting them from their bed,
Time to tell with the circle of life, will he allow them to live on instead?
And in a pinch reluctantly talk to yours truly,
a very reformed Jew rarely attends Synagogue,
(he who cannot be named) hails from Prague
offtimes provides a wonderful monologue,
whereby his eloquence usually finds me agog.
Propinquity between scribe

to extemporize unless stage fright did curse
ambition to chat up intellectual conversation

despite heroic measures
exerted by selfless nurse,
whose tears trickled down flushed cheeks,
while her lips she did purse
methinks she wondered if pandemic
would get worse.
Oratorical predilections quake
these lovely bones, which at lxii ache

A lofty song Enya doth sing

titled "Marbled Halls"
for no rhyme nor reason came to mind,
perhaps momentarily fantasizing
how gobs of moolah tickle me fancy,
although the lyrics strongly in apropos
especially opening line -
I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls
With vassals and serfs at my side...
It's always been an uncanny pleasure of mine,
To behold the tetchy affair that thrives between
A gregarious man and his choice crimson wine;
For each loves and loathes in equaled measure.
How both meticulously give and evenly take
To seal the crack that coerced giving claims,
Each ceding ground and forgoing their cake;
And daily perpetuate these love-hate games.
Firstly as the wistful man uncorks the shields,
You'd guess he'll guard the control he wields;
But when the foamy guest oils that willing gut,
Our bloke capricious grows and red eyes shut.
Consensus is drawn and he should grab more,
For buck's there and calling home stands near;
Just a daring thought and some spoiling for war,
For the world's sick and all stationary objects go.
You own it's a profound sight quite rare and fine,
To meet daring men and their dear crimson wine.
The A.D.D. poet, knows not of forms.
His mind is adrift, his thoughts move in swarms.
He loathes punctuation, he oft lacks the words.
To convey his whole meaning, to strike the right chords
He has no control, of what he retains
He tries to make sense, of what little remains.
He's left with an archive, of incomplete visions
Forged of distractions, which breed indecision.
He jots every line, with the best of intention.
Trying to conclude, despite fading attention.
Then he has an epiphany, if explored he could finally be free!!!!!
Then he gets hungry, makes a sandwich, and is off to watch TV.
Blind to what his heart couldn't see;
your love was hard to accept.
And thus, he ignored your plea;
something you did not expect.
Rejection leaves you upset,
till tears douse passion's flame.
And your heart fills with regret;
conjuring feelings of shame.
And your heart, and tortured soul,
learns love loathes to compromise.
But unrequited love's toll,
is that desire: never dies.
Sorrow suppresses a tear
sifting through ashes of hate.
And accompanied by fear,
innocence questions its fate.
Yet slowly, dreams get replaced,
giving love another chance.
And yesterdays are erased;
invoking time's magic trance.
We learn to pray by praying. We can spend hours studying other people's experiences, but nothing is more vivid than an individual's prayer and its heavenly response. By Poet
The night sky was utterly dazzling with the stars' awry.
Breeze clasps surreal trees and lifts solemn blights.
I could hear my name being shouted from on high.
With a stunning show of a billion-plus lights.
Whimsically roving soul in luxurious zenith oozing.
The rivers and oceans merge with the spire's fusing.
Heaven's waves strive to mix with seraphic infusing.
Should my essence not combine with the divine?
The cliffs kiss the lofty sky, and the rivers shine.
No rose can be saved if it loathes its own whine.
A gilded, serene grace, adorns bliss and joy's way.
There are no tears or pain, only timeless rapture sites.
Vast relics of divine life, still sing duets and musing.
Heaven is an exalting golden sea of canticles on the line.

One of two thieves
You can only be
One of two thieves
Better choose wisely
One of two thieves
One scorned and mocked Him
Which of two thieves…?
One had to love Him
Which of two thieves…?
One joined the loud crowd
Which of two thieves…?
Which one are you?
You saw His glory?
Which one are you?
Laughed at His story?
Which one are you?
Helped make Him feel worse?
Which one are you?
Malefactors
Only two were they
Malefactors
One condescending
Malefactors
One, oh, so humble
Malefactor,
Choose this day your side
You, criminal!
For sure are you one
You, criminal!
State what you have done
You criminal!
Do you Him deny?
You criminal!
Do you Him defy?
You, Criminal!
Must be guilty
Then say, why’d He die?
Must be guilty
Yet, you mock and sigh
Must be guilty
He died in your stead
Must be guilty
So praise Him instead
Must be guilty
Hands stained, oh, blood-red!
Yes, ‘tis true guilt
Will you then appeal?
Yes, it be guilt
Take for granted still?
Yes, ‘tis your guilt
But the Father’s will
Took away guilt
How will you repay?
Remain in guilt?
For dear life you’ll pray?
Or embrace guilt?
There are two thieves
But one loves so dearly
Of the two thieves
The other loathes— clearly
You are a thief
On borrowed life, merely,
Day-to-day you live…
Wryly, or merrily?
Did He life give,
That you might live freely?
Be grateful, thief…
Saved undeservingly
