De Ja Vu

Lyrics are timed to music

Out there - a distant shore
I’ve seen your face before
It’s De’ja`vu with thoughts of you
Then feelings of a loss, come tomorrow

Sometime - another place
I’ve seen - your smiling face
It’s De’ja'vu of thoughts I knew
Love is meant to be, not the sorrow

I searched, beyond the stars
I looked beneath the moon
I know JUST KNOW - without a DOUBT
My heart - will show me soon

Oh way out there - a distant land
That’s where - my love began
Now De’ja'vu fills thoughts anew
So happy again - come tomorrow

So far, beyond that star
We’ll kiss far beneath the moon
I know, without a DOUBT
My heart will show me where soon

I’m sure, with wings I’ll soar
With love, I knew before
I’ll spread my wings I’ll learn to fly
And never ever again - be broken hearted

Oh we can fly with wings on high
Then never ever again, we’ll be parted

Synopsis of total De’ja’vu play that these lyrics were composed for:
The lives of two lovers was torn apart way back in the 14th century when she was banished. The interference could have caused a Pattern shift of Destiny in the Loom of Time. Could a certain couple be the same star crossed lovers that have searched for each other through many lifetimes over the centuries?

A wise mystical character from the bygone era is a keen observer and blames himself for not intervening. He also wonders that since the Earth is the cradle of humanity, would humans have progressed past the cradle in this day and age.

Foot note:
Ron and I love musical theater. After seeing a disappointing play, he rose to my challenge in regard to the comment he made that he could have written better. The result was De’ja’vu, a Romantic Musical.

I wrote the lyrics in collaboration with him, but due to the enormous staging costs the music was never written and we abandoned the project.

The lyrics for this piece have been tweaked to ‘La mer’, also known as ‘Beyond the Sea’ and one of my Dad’s favorite songs. (Wish he was here, he would have composed the music)

Sorry folks, if and when we find suitable music to the lyrics of the Grand Finale, I’ll post it

Mother

For it's been 3 years since i lost you to
cancer.
For i look at your picture everyday...
asking the question...Why?
But still can't come up with an
answer.
For this is my first letter to
you..
Wanting to let you know just how
much i miss and love you.
For you left behind the best part of
you in me...
By giving me the gifts of...
Inspiration
Strength
Courage
and Spiritual Direction.
So that i can see.
For all of my dedications to you are
in my poetry...So that you can continue
to live on in my words.
Words of beauty..inspiring others to live
life like 2 harmonious
humming birds.
For at times i still shed a tear.
Reminicing about the good times,
Wishing you were here.
For you are like no other...
Priceless in my heart,
The diamond in my mind,
and a million in my soul.
For this is my dedication to the women..
known as my "MOTHER"

THE END...

Premium Member Wrong-Way Corrigan

One fine July morn in '38 pilot Corrigan cruised up in the blue.

He set the tabs and throttled back and on and on he flew.

From New York to Long Beach he said was his destination,

But somehow, somewhere along the way he made a slight variation!

Instead of landing at Long Beach in California as he intended,

Strangely, somewhere on the Irish turf is where he landed!

NOTE: Based on a true incident. There is some question whether
Douglas Corrigan intentionally made a 180 and flew to Ireland
and whether that was his intent in the first place. In any event,
he is known as "Wrong-way Corrigan" to this very day!

Christmas Down Under

Now Christmas in July seems crazy - I’m sure I hear you say
That has got to be plain silly - but this is the Aussie way
Christmas is in December you insist it’s a well-known fact
But in this land way ‘Down Under’ our seasons are ‘out of whack’

July is Aussie winter while in December it's scorching hot
Those Three Wise Men may know the reason but then again maybe not!
A time for relaxing with family and friends spreading the good cheer
Sip a glass of Lilly Pilli wine or toast with a VB beer

Frosty Christmas in December - for some it seems so right
Tinsel and baubles festooned - Oh what a delightful sight
Presents around the Christmas tree decked with lights and holly
Cheery little Santa’s look so happy and so jolly

In December air-cons turned cold mimicking our winter in July
When Santa rode his sleigh down south to Oz coming from the land up high
With a Ho Ho Ho he now powers his jet ski - riding mighty waves
He coasts straight onto our golden sands joining parting people and raves

Remember my friends it is a time filled with Peace and Joy
To commemorate the Special Birth of a Baby Boy

Worry not friends we don’t miss out on all that wintry good cheer
For you see folks here in OZ - Christmas always comes twice a year

Author’s Note:
'Christmas in July', which is also known as Yulefest or Yuletide in Australia. July is generally the coldest month of winter, so celebrations emulate the atmosphere of the northern hemisphere winter. So that means hearty food like roasts, and warm drinks in front of fireplaces and bonfires. Don’t be alarmed folks! – Just for the record, here in Oz we have a second helping and do celebrate Christmas on 25th December with the rest of the world.

Synopsis from the composer of the song and clip -
"The Aussie Christmas Song" by Batesy. Published on Dec 18, 2012

‘One Christmas eve I was singing carols about dashing through the snow & a white Christmas and thought "Aussies don't have snow at Christmas" and it was also 30 degrees outside, so The Aussie Christmas Song was born, it's about sun, sand, backyard cricket, pavlova, and a cold beer - Ah!! - Sing along!!!’

He made you and me

He’s patient
And so full of grace

He’s merciful to all
Still when men
Rejects God often

But still God loves men
No matt'r what
And rescue wants all.

They were here before the settlers arrived
They lived off the land, they knew how to survive
But after the great white spirit came
They lost both their land and their fame

There were many native American tribes
Dakota, Apache, Cherokee, to name a few
But from the Apache tribe a legend grew
To his people he was a hero
The legendary warrior known as Geronimo

In battle he was known to kill
With both the gun or the knife
Many an enemy lost their lives
To the heroic Apache's skill

In 1909 Geronimo died
And he was buried in Fort Sill
On Apachean winds his spirit still rides
And his name is used in battle still

Vasily Zaytsev

VASILY ZAYTSEV

As nature took me back into times,
To witness sadden and heroic events filled with cries, It was very soul engulfing that I couldn’t stand to witness,
But was compelled by purpose to attend.

Old time landed me safely at STARLINGARD
I beheld a sniper riffle upon a raised platform,
The shooter as I approached diminished,
And I couldn’t say something to him,
I followed my way from starlingard,
Up to YELENINSKOYE ORENBURG, There the story began.

Songs were heard in a family,
A son came into the cosmo,
With a saddened task facing him,
Unknown was it to him,
Destiny and fate moulded him in,
That was VASILY ZAYTSEV The hero of Starlingard.

Gradually he grew into a finetaker,
Tracked down a wolf with only a bullet as a kid he was satisfied, Without a view of his role in Starlingard,
Due to Hitler's territorial conquest.

Troops marching out in thousands,
Outnumbering the alluvial sands,
The hope of the world was towards Starlingard,
Since the soviet union subdued by Hitler.
Starlingard became a stronghold,
Because of the undying spirit of men in the patriotic war.

Assigned to the 1047th Riffle Regiment,
Vasily was the pride of the company which later was named 62nd army at Starlingard,
That was on 17th September 1942,
Vasily started shooting around the axis

Zealous as he was on the battlefield,
A sniper concealing his locations,
Covering a large area from three positions, Known as the "sixies" up till today.
Killing 11 scores plus armed men including 11 snipers. Making It 32 axis killings.

Undiluted spirit of enthusiasm,
Towards conquering enemies at the gates,
Manifested by his perfect shootings,
Calculating the bearings of directions of his sniper,
Diminishing enemies until he conquered,
To him there was no land beyond the ''VOLGA''

Her heartbeat echoes like a love moan in my mind,
summoning centuries of refined romanticism soulfully enshrined,
the contralto of her voice a fillatio upon the cock of my consciousness,
through her eyes I see that mystery is the Mistress of meaning beyond regress,
my manly mouth serenades & suckles the rosy pussy of her prophecy, homage cunnilingus,
revelations irresistible in their heretical invigorations excite our imaginations
as we fornicate a ferocious forsooth soothsaying love's reincarnations,
a vignette of virility forthcoming from fate's far side fortifications
presents a primal promise in paranormal inceptions,

Premonitions primitive in heart heat paint
streak the skin of our desire to design an indigenous heaven,
flesh tones warm fast and feral revealing a vitality of spirituality that tongues detonate,
the Universe blooms into a Multiverse as she spreads her spell of star spice scintillation
onto my ripened body rendering her rites fertile in rich freight,
within the brain's wildfire I feel her unction,

Becoming the shaman of our secret skin ceremony
I invoke the spirit of solar youth into veinage voracious for passion's patronage,
sanctifying the unifying lust between the bodily and ghostly unlicensed liberty,
shadow temple of temptation gives offering of blood and song from astral page,
death dream extremes fire hot ejaculation of divine vindication into cosmogony
as she and I have won our now with a win over age,

My Love Muse is more than a woman
she is a savage seduction and a sacred sweetness,
a Goddess of her own Cause...a lover known as Poetess,
her name changes from lifetime to lifetime, yet she is always beauty shown -

Premium Member The Journey Within

Presently, God has a plan and purpose that was set in
motion before we were born. His love for us allows us
to be participants in the JOURNEY to our destiny. Indeed,
we are not robots or mortals in motion via instincts.

Presently, all of us exist in space and time. These two entities,
space and time, make up our sphere of existence. All of us have
existed at some point in our world in a prior time known as 'the past'.
We all have been gifted by God with, not multiples, but one lifespan.
Your prior might be 30 years, and my prior might be 60 years.

All of us are headed somewhere into the future time and
space, but none of us knows the extent of our longevity.
That being the case, all of us are on a journey whether it be
in our dreams, in our musing minds, or in our longing hearts.

This JOURNEY within us is as sure as the daily sunrises.
It is utter delight when we come to realize that the JOURNEY
within is so designed to keep us moving toward our destiny.
Furthermore, the JOURNEY gets sweeter as the years go by.

Yes, God is sovereign, but it is vital that we understand that our
wills are heavily involved with the directiinon of our JOURNEY. God
is in control, but he is not controling. God is not a dictator
but a very engaging Father. I would not wish to take
My JOURNEY without Him.
