The Walk

Tired of it all
The bottle empty did fall
On the third floor
I looked out
Skeptical
Of the distance
Fatal or just painful?

I have had enough pain
Looking out, it began
To rain
For my final walk
I took an umbrella
I was that kinda fella

Strolling down the avenues and streets
The bridge called Freedom nearing my weary feet
I walked up and halfway across
Looking at the darkness swirling in my head
The river I am sure would consume me dead

So I jumped

                                                 The Bridge part 2

Over to the side, as a car flashed by
Why that was close, close to die
As I stared down the murky river black
I decided not now
I will walk on back
On the avenue called Destiny
A robber jumped out
Your money or your life! He cried
I had left my wallet at home you see
Not thinking an identity would matter much to me
The robber seemed to disbelieve
As the gunshot rang out
I fell on top of my own irony

So I jumped

                                    Walking Back Home part 3

Up
Brushed off my coat
He was a bad aim and was not about
Ran off scared into the city night
Even robbers, are born with fright
I was none the worse for the wear
Couldn’t wait to climb up those three floors of stairs
The sanctuary of my solitary lair
Death was just not in the cards tonight
Rum and the rabbit
Left to fill me with delight
My drunken stupor, I fell asleep in my chair
Until with a jolt, tumbled onto the cold hard floor
With drunken flair
Death was in the air

So I jumped

                                      The Apartment part 4

Back up
Wide awake, how long had I slept?
My clothes were smelly and I had bad breath
Into the shower, alas it’s another depressing day
Suicide, I realized is a very hard game to play
I heard the telephone, must be my psychologist
Making sure I am alive if not at my wildest
Turned off the shower in a rush you see
Slipped
And
Fell
Hit my head on the tiles with a crash as loud as can be

So my body jumped, convulsions
Then fell back on the floor
I am dead as death can be
Just a day late and no more

I jumped no more :(

Premium Member Mind of Madness

Sometimes I'm lost in my head
Get this feeling in which I dread
Lost soul coming to find
Some kind of peace of mind
Down at the river I closed my eyes
Don't need to hear no more lies
Standing still I think I see
I want to know why aint free
What do I need to know
What must I finally show
Show me a path away from here
Help me to hide my fear
Nobody here know my name
Can't say nobody is to blame
Lost in some kinda crazy dream
I know that is as bad as it might seem
Time likes to go away
Doesn't anyone have a thing to say
Lost in a dream where I can't break free
Doesn't anybody see
I just stand here waiting for the day .
Is there anymore left to say
I'm not going to sleep in this rain
And I can't stand the pain
Walked down to the corner store
Looking for the door
Some can't seem to see
I just want to be free
Spread my wing and fly
Lost in the corner of my mind
It's me I need find

Betrayed

I wanted you to know
That you did not steal the show
Unable to harness the harmony
You did not screw this up for me
In fact, it's such a huge favor
Not wasting the fruits of my labor
Knowing you were out to deceive thee
I don't know why you don't believe me
When I told you how I feel about people who lie

When it comes to seeing eye to eye
No way any of it will fly
I would advise you to step aside
Instead of trying to fix this on the backslide
That will just cause us to collide
Taking our love to a bad kinda high
Don't want to have to choose sides
Or risk that either one of us would ever lie

Looks like none of our plans are going to apply
Sometimes you have to accept the reasons why
That there is not much left to erect or intercept
Cause it looks like you swept much of it away
When you chose to be that way
Hoping all your lies
Didn't get hung up on the inside
Thinking you can justify
What I feel is nothing but a slap in the eye

Over you telling your dirty lies
Deceiving while hiding in discquise
Once you cross this line
There is no way to realign
What was once so divine all by design
Why would you choose this to be
Now I must set you free
You are not the one meant for me

You had your chance
At the most romantic dance
But now you get to stay home
And wish about it from a glance
And when you come out of your trance
This will be a broken romance
That has no last chance

Premium Member One of a Kind

Everyone is one-of-a-kind
There's ain't nobody else like us
But they say, we all have a double
So what's all the fuss!

Sure like to meet my look-alike
At first, might be a wee bit spooky
Like looking in a full-length mirror
Wonder if he's just as kooky?

Saw a man who looked just like me
And it freaked me out real good
Stared intently at my look-alike dude
Transfixed was I where I stood

Seems this dude was blown away too
But we didn't actually speak
That would've been kinda freaky, yikes
We just kept taking little peeks

Finally disappeared into the crowd
Left me with a feeling of remorse
That I didn't actually have a word with him
To share in a little discourse

What are chances of meeting him again
Probably a million to one I'd say
Sure would've been really quite interesting
Regretted not talking to this day!

Retrospective

Sure, there's a place and time for everything
And if everything happens for a reason then there can't be a mistake
And if you look behind the road of success
You'll see a trial of failures
And I'll keep trying to help here
Even though everything seems so helpless
These are 4 things the Master said
"Men should Pray and ought not to lose heart"
"By your patience possess your souls"
"Don't think I came to bring peace on this earth, Nay I came to bring a sword"
"One day they will kill you and think they are doing a favor for God"
You don't hear these things at Church now ain't that kinda odd
Why stop I''ll just take you a little further
We are sheep for the slaughter
We need the Shepard,
He said to remember to Shepard the flock and that I would be a man of God
Does anybody know who the King of Glory is?
Please, it's suggestions I need, you can keep your comments

Imagine That Vol.2

Story of my life... you know it's kinda
funny when I think about cuz
when it comes to love I could never
get it right but I can give all the good advice
to my homeboys & help them keep their
lil shawty's and turn em into the wifey type
but like Beans said "Tell Me What Your Life Like"
pain & turmoil but God made the child that
stands before you outta his image
so I been heaven sent to deliverance his
messages never mind my seductive
sentences.

But listen things ain't what it used to be,
you see it's this female I been talking
to for a minute and somethings different
I can feel it in how we talk and the way
she looks at me, kinda got me daydreamin
right now, I mean it's just good friendship
but eternal happiness wit her is
sumthin I'm trying to seek,
she got me feeling like M.L.K in his
Infamous "I Have A Dream Speech"
meaning she takes me to a place
God took John, revealing to him
because of the sinful nature of
this nation a New Heaven & Earth
would be born.

So you see I see new things wit this one,
got me visioning a new love life, where
even if I'm away from her for a few minutes
I think of her smile and she's what
I'm missing, so for her to be mines & me
to be hers it would almost feel unreal
but I'm love it, cuz when she gives her
heart to me the last thing imma feel is
emotionally torn like Letoya Luckett

Premium Member The Selfinvested Boss

Straight from the New York Times,
The Macho Appeal of Donald Trump:
We saw him being a boss

A take charge kinda' narcissistic guy;
just the kind of win/lose business capitalist
to Make America Even More Competitive Again,

Especially if you have always enjoyed
StraightWhiteMale privilege

And never sworn to defend
a democratic health care agenda
for the well-being of all the people
and plants
all over the planet
at all times,
in all federally-associated
and invested places,
sacred spaces.

Others saw and heard
a self-invested capital-privileged
narcissistic Boss,
of an old
and extremely tiring supremacist vintage,
who never could be a successful multicultural business manager
in the private sector,
much less a successful multicultural democratic facilitator
of public health and safety information
in our nation's
and our regenerative Earth's
best and brightest
cooperatively facilitated eco-political
resiliently robust interests.

Would you want him to be your boss?
Your dad?
Your teacher?
Your preacher?
Your mental and/or physical health care provider?
Your economic prophet?
Your family's political co-empowerment advisor?
Your banker?
Your fearless leader
so full of fear
of anyone
not a wealthy
hopelessly secular and profane
competitive real estate marketer
and straight white male privileged owner
like him?
