Premium Member HEART THAT FINDS GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD

January 3 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 6-8

Key Verse - Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

HEART THAT FINDS GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a blessing
Despite our weakness of sinfulness’ cursing
Praise be to God for His salvation of faith-bracing
Making us His children with eternal life possessing.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a privilege
Despite our flesh-strivings of pride’s knowledge
Praise be to God for righteousness-imputation we acknowledge
Making us His saints with new creation toward heavenly mileage.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a time of gladness
Despite our selfishness hiding in hypocrisy’s brightness
Praise be to God for His mercy and forgiveness
Making us His converts toward transformation along His holiness.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a sure victory
Despite our vain cravings and worldly thoughts’ flurry
Praise be to God for His sanctification-glory
Making us His believers following Him, proclaiming His Gospel story.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a proof of His approval
Despite our failures attributed to enemies hindering our survival
Praise be to God for His power causing our prayer-filled revival
Making us His will-abiders shut in His prevailing love’s upheaval.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a service-motivation
Despite our unfaithfulness brought by fleshly corruption
Praise be to God for His steadfast compassionate function
Making us His stewards who comply to His instruction.

For our heart to find grace in the Lord’s eyes is a desire of our spirituality
Despite our zeal assuaged, abated and restrained by iniquity
Praise be to God for His wisdom driving us with His Word’s certainy
Making us His worshippers who seek Him along our humility and sincerity.

~Living Your Life Full Of Love~
(Rhyme)

Living a life full of love is necessary
Let's bring lots of bright cheers and smiles
Everyday start refresh and reach for the stars above the sky
Try to see things better and make it worth awhile.

We know that the world spins out of control
Yet you can keep all this craziness out of your door
Nothing can make you do things you don't really want do
If you have a dream- just work hard and make it yours

God works in so many mysterious ways
And all the time I just know that.
He is more than ready to rain all His blessings
On you right there and where you are at

Never take love for granted-Open hearts door
You're supposed to nurture love and much more.

Premium Member Pebbles of Stigma In Stillness

When suited with loneliness, sorrow is seductive.
I reek trefoils and heed we bear a deep urge to relate.
My quest for commonality steered me to a lake fictive.

Pondering the twilight steam, so the lake whirls me to debate.
Ridden by the ethos, a lilac cloud goes to a grape.
I reek trefoils and heed we bear a deep urge to relate.

There are harmony and congruity here, just as kinship.
A slight wind doesn't sham the willow's sensory body.
Ridden by the ethos, a lilac cloud goes to a grape.

One thing I lack haunts a bustling life with true liberality.
In this world, even a hunter and prey may gain alliance.
A slight wind doesn't sham the willow's sensory body.

I wish to be vital for that globe, producing hot guidance.
This information might work with us exploring the world.
In this world, even a hunter and prey might gain alliance.

As I unwind in peace, I realize life follows a vital word.
To reduce interruption caused by uncommon conflictive.
This information might work with us exploring the world.
My quest for commonality steered me to a lake fictive.

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO WANTS US TO COME INTO HIS SALVATION-ARK

January 3 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 7-9

Key Verse – Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

FAITH IN GOD WHO WANTS US
TO COME INTO HIS SALVATION-ARK

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s imputed righteousness
Cleansed by His blood’s purging effectiveness
Cleaving to Him, in faith, we are kept unto His holiness
Cleared from destructive evils of earthliness.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s redemption-fulfillment
Carried toward heavenly settlement
Casting our all unto Him, by faith, we express our soulwinning involvement
Captured from prevailing fleshly defilement.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s rescuing authority
Cared for by His compassionate sovereignty
Clinging to Him, we pursue for joyful spirituality
Charged to continue against adversity.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s quickened transformation
Covered by His empowered regeneration
Clothing ourselves, in faith, we abide in His truth’s instruction
Cornered from freezing coldness of wrong direction.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s blessed grace
Celebrated by His deliverance toward victorious race
Charged by faith, we exalt Him with worshipful praise
Called to enjoy sweet relationship with Him upon Scriptures’ brace.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s assured covenant
Created anew by His Word, doctrinally triumphant
Crucifying ourselves to Him, in faith, we are believers who are vibrant
Committed to grow in His ministry-vineyard, productively radiant.

God wants us to come into His salvation-ark of Christ’s provision-delight
Corrected against sinfulness-blight
Claiming by faith His leading, we strive to walk in His light
Consecrated to dwell in His perfect will with thanksgiving might. Amen!

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Righteousness

January 3 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 7-9

Key Verse – Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY RIGHTEOUSNESS

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, welcoming me to Your will
Thank You for cleansing me from being filthily ill
And keeping me from worldly destruction’s mill
So that I can ascend toward Your holiness hill.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, bringing me in Your ark of protection
Thank You for guarding me from floods of corruption
And ushering me to Your fountains of satisfaction
So that I can enjoy Your rain of provision.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, guiding me to enter Your door of mercy
Thank You for shutting me inside Your clemency
And making me rejoice in Your love’s assuring fervency
So that I can prevail against worries in Your caring sufficiency.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, soothing me with Your calmness
Thank You for restraining me to stop from doubting Your faithfulness
And correcting me of my unbelief’s perilousness
So that I can rest in Your continual truthfulness.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, opening to me ministry-opportunities
Thank You for pulling me into Your forgiving grace from my admitted iniquities
And letting me stay in Your presence, returning from vanities
So that I can remain prospering in Your fruitful bounties.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, blessing me to multiply in Your replenishment
Thank You for delivering me from dread and fear of poor nourishment
And empowering me to accomplish Your good-work’s requirement
So that I can optimize Your promised covenant-fulfillment.

Lord God, You are my Righteousness, sealing me around Your granted life everlasting
Thank You for establishing me toward heavenly setting
And nurturing me in Your vineyard of revival-bloom’s planting
So that I can live in Your victory, always divinely exciting.

Premium Member Santa Claus

Santa Clause has a more heroic deed and story,
Which everyone might have missed to hear and see;
He has been on service for a decade or yore,
He's a wizened Santa and he cannot walk anymore.

His reindeer are nowhere to be found,
They went to breed, he keeps looking for them around;
He has cataracts, so he cannot see them,
He was operated…now, he has spectacles with thick lens.

He is worried that his gifts will not be given on time,
So, he sits hurriedly on his wheelchair drawn by snowman,
But snowman keeps rolling while dragging him on the ground,
He wishes that someone will pass by to get them quickly in town.

Santa Clause has a brilliant idea on his mind,
He remembers some balloons for children on his chair, behind;
He blows them and takes some helium for snowman’s body,
Now, you can hear them both saying “ho ho ho”-- flying happily.

Christmas to New Year, you can still see him hovering on air,
He is busy dropping gifts for adults and children so dear;
Everyone is running gladly to receive the gifts while singing,
"Oh Santa, you got the whole year the spirits of the three kings."

Premium Member In Memory of Milton

I knew Milton through his writing on Poetry Soup and his book, "Ashes on the Snow", (2010). A warm and intimate montage of his life experiences.

He was a principled man, whose deep family roots from the Appalachian highlands of West Virginia carried him through-out his life; where he inspired others, through his ministry and through his classical writing of poetry and short stories.

I am grateful to have known him. A tough critic that always added encouraging remarks; tools to hone my poetic writing skills.

I recall his positive comment on one of my Haiku's. He thought I was very good at this form; something he personally found challenging.

Milton leaves a legacy with a poignant and indelible voice, for our poetry community and far beyond.

God Bless you Milton ~ this is for you:

Haiku:

roots of deep passion
  sowing dreams, reaping honor
     rising with the stars

In life many people will try to put you down,
sometimes, they will be direct but often sneaky.
Words are like weapons that leave deep scars on the soul,
these bullies in life just have one reason and goal;
to bring you down- laughing at the spirit they stole.

I want you the think hard before you let them win,
don't give them power to ever control your life;
a bully is basically a coward- be strong.
Turn and face them and they will run away so fast,
and you can dwell in sweet tranquility at last;
there are many- to friend, love in this world so vast.

I offer you food for thought- just be you, okay,
don't ever let someone tell you what you should do;
what you should be thinking- how you should act ever,
and I am going to tell you something, listen.
Don't ever, ever become the thing that you hate,
yes, your pride will want to get even but please wait;
no matter what has been done, be a person great.

Perfect Attendance Award
Kevin Davis 2025

I was never able to complete an entire school year without a day being ill.
And at the end of each school year an honor was paid to those who endured.
180 days of schoolwork and desk sitting, without one day being under a pill.

An achievement was bestowed, and all my teachers were proud and honored.
My days of absence was because of the common cold, earache and sore throat.
But more than that, days were without schoolwork, sleeping-in and some fun.

Colds were never fun, sore throats or strep were painful and nothing to gloat.
But watching television, whatever and whenever I wanted, could not be undone.
But the honor others had obtained seemed worthy, so one year I ventured to win,

One full school year, each full day in my seat, learning my eighth-grade lessons.
I made the first half without a day ill, playing basketball till the holidays began.
Christmas was joyful and healthy, and New Years joy, my family were blessings.

Back to class on Monday January 3rd, 1966, the Saturday before I woke-up well.
Ready to begin the rest of the year then to high school and many new adventures.
By mid-day I began to feel different, my throat itched, and stomach wouldn’t be still.

By evening my throat was scratchy and my head hurt, what was causing the aches?
My Mom felt my head, and stated, “You have a temperature, it’s to bed for you!”
“But Mom I want to go to back to school.” “Let me take your temperature and see.”

Thermometer in the mouth for several minutes, then out it came and the orders to do,
“Here’s two aspirins, take them now and get to bed you have a fever of over 103.”

Dr. Buckley was called, and my parents took me to his home/office, and he said,
“I need to check, but I think step-throat is the cause.” The fearful otoscope out
The good doctor peered down my throat. “Strep it is young man it’s off to bed”.

First a shot, cough medicine and pills. “No school for you, and no running about”.
And so, my quest for perfect attendance was done, no honor to be had at years end.
By the end of the next week, I was feeling much better, and Dr. Buckley decreed,

“The strep has healed and you can return to school.” he gave Mom a note to send,
So, the school would let me return but no perfect attendance, the rules did not bend.
