Premium Member A Second Glance

A second glance
Sometimes gives you a surprise
The volatile clouds
Changing its shapes and appearances
Just resemble life
Which is full of wonders and surprises
And the mysterious universe
Blended with the untold fate
Has rain come at a sudden
But rainbow is round the corner
Splendid,marvelous and brilliant
The flowers under the sun
Look more shining
But the roofs after the rain
Look even more fresh
And the air too
Becomes cleaner and more refreshing
After long interactions
Acquaintances become intimate friends
And sometimes a second glance
Or a second thought
May find you eternal love and happiness
And with a second glance
We can always give ourself a chance
Our loved ones a second chance
To compensate
To repay love
To love again

Premium Member Winwin Wonderland

Before dimensional
discontinuous investment returns
of MotherLand
there was a water womb
of continuous gifts
growing through primal matriarchal relationship
of deep gifting vulnerability.

Intimate wonder comes prior to thoughts
of becoming more deeply connected,
invested,
in both natural and spiritual ways.

Warm water womb
births landscapes
for exploring nature-spirits,
whether emerging from a distended womb
or a fertile egg
or a vulnerable seed
filled with wondrous unfolding potential integrities
of previously well-Landed interrelationships.

Restorative justice and peace
originates here,
in water's intimate embryo
fueled by a gift economy of WinWin Wonder
predicting politically powerful cooperative relationships
should we Land
and continue regeneratiing
restoring Zero-Sum balance
love
harmony
grace
synergy
between Yang passions of well-wombed egos
and yin's restorative wombs
sufficient
perfect
nutritional nurturing integrity
of purpose
with healthy intent,
vocations reweaving wealthy Landed cultures
born of EarthMother's vulnerable
intimate politically double-bound warm waters.

For there to be retributive Land beneath our exhausted feet
there was first restorative water
to welcome our potential gifts.

For us to become filled with Earth's spatial wonders
there was first a timeless bilateral gift economy,
sufficiency as grace
through vulnerable sacred nurturing,
secular nutritioning,
WinWin dipolar exchanges,
wealth of healthing Wonder.

Before the dualism of landscapes
there was water immersion.
Before restorative water,
waves of redistributive winds.
Before winds of time and change and revolutions,
sacred WinWin Wonder.

                    ---------------------------------------------------

Thrilling and alluring
hazard, affection, zeal, and heat
all the stated above
crimson, as a rose, is a sign of love
at all times evolving
             when planets are aligned
             color doesn't matter
             because true love is blind
unseen for the most break
but only when glimpsed
mutable and undulating
colors are shifting
lasts only long enough
to be outrageous
          love is a colorless mood
          It is a heartfelt emotion
          our eyes grasp everything
          love stems from inclusion.

She hates frilly pink stuff
flavor, spice, everything squeamish
three sons and spouse
she shares blue but shuns others.
once drove a crimson race car.
young passion, now a yellow SUV.
        easy access and exit.
        deeply anchored, like her life.

Experts called her Autumn,
but what do they gasp?
to me, she’s summer,
colors bright and warm,
        at times a little dusty,
        like a sunlit kitchen.
        so color her something,
        it would just be opal—
a humble stone, but look deeply,
all the colors of the rainbow
explode from its heart.

When I am missing her:
I am just cobalt blue,
with emptiness...
when we are intimate:
I am a royal purple,
with happiness...
      when I am working:
      I am anxiously green,
      with jealously...
      when she is sick:
     I am indigo, with
      hopefulness...

Pleated, flirtatious hair.
release her loose braids.
with freckled cheeks.
She vibrates sweetly.
the furious downpour.
moistens dusty roads.
falling cobalt beads pitter.
rainy beat orchestra.

Premium Member To Love Blindly

Why do you constantly keep saying you love me?
What did I ever do or say to make you feel that way?
There has never been an intimate moment between us.
We have never passionately kissed or embraced each other.
We never walked holding each other’s hands like lover’s do.
What have I ever done or you think I did to deserve your love?
How can you stand there and say that you love me?
You are either crazy or just another liar.
In either case, I know you will hurt me.
How could I possibly believe in you?
I can see you, hear you, and touch you,
but there is no way you can be for real.
I am too broken to take a leap of faith.
My heart has lied to me far too often.
I can no longer trust my own feelings.
If you do really love me, you must be a fool
I am too damaged to be loved by anyone.
A true heart would be wasted on me now.
I am a bundle of doubts and fears
wrapped in a blanket of insecurity.
Why would anyone want to love me?

The shattered heart captures the caring eyes
of the one capable of seeing a beautiful heart
reflected in the smallest of shards left behind
in the consuming wake of false love’s savage fury.
The one who sees a heart once full of passion
flailing in the rapids of sorrow desperately
grasping for any reason to believe in love again.
The one with hands strong enough to pull
it free from the perilous fate that awaits.
The one who sees great beauty in imperfection,
who thinks a ravaged heart is worth saving,
who believes that it can be restored to splendor,
who blindly loves not what it has become,
but all it could be.

Despair Eats From A Cold Plate

Despair eats from a cold plate
It knows nothing except to fill its belly
In this never-ending jaunt to Morden Lane
Stenhouse Street and Swanscombe Road
Drop another dollar bill on the counter
Watch the waitress bend down to get it
She writes on a tablet her phone number
I call her when the sun is setting on Tuesday
We meet for wine and cheese at a side café
We stroll on Gunster Road and Haven Mews
She puts her arm through mine and giggles
She says there are brown roaches in the kitchen
A couch made of Naugahyde sits in the moonlight
Discarded shoes and intimate detritus scattered
Snoring lovers under a soft blanket in the darkness
Despair continues to eat from a cold plate

Premium Member Valentine’s Day

Like a gentle breeze on a Summer’s
eve,
You came into my life and swore never
 to leave,
I weave a tale with these words to say,
I wish we could have seen it through,
entwined to that inevitable day.

With every breath, your sweet words
sway,
Your warm smile and gentle embrace
always made my day,
Those periods of absence when you
were away,
Your love and our memories kept me
company every night and every day.

With the gift of Love’s essence that binds
 us together,
And the intimate, unbreakable bond
we share, I hoped it would have lasted
longer than a day and well into forever.

On this Special day, love’s echo rises
to the call,
Let joy dwell in the garden of hearts,
where love abides,
To you, me and to lovers everywhere,
 I say,
Have a beautifully blissful Valentine’s
Day.

My Electric Caress

I never trashed my convictions
She told me what I wanted to hear
To conceal and concede
People say take 2nd place
I can't watch a player take my roll
Settle for atrophic friend
happy to be at the beginning of the book called If I had a wish
Was I head over or over my head who knew
Did I take abuse
I was my only believer
I wore the paint that wouldn't last
Where is wrong
When the truth is hiding in the past
She was my junkie
We fed off each other
honor before icecream with your cake
We were intimate
But strangers on the street
When I say I'd love to change the world
Cause we're going the wrong direction
It grinds my clothes dry
Now I know I was her Frankenstein

Kindness remembers,
Legendary stars glistening
In her eyes – such wisdom

Gentle and graceful,
Intimate as the stirring
From a heart who listens,
A heart who sighs contentment.

Kindness remembers,
Shadows kissing away the dark,
Lifting the night and breaking apart
The silence, with enlightenment

Songs of melodious praise,
Erasing the yesterdays
When hearts were so fearful,
Destined to the anxious places,
Where worry concealed the light,
The music of a light so alive, breathless
Twinkling stars, hung high in the skies.

Kindness remembers,
Listening with a heart who believes
Forever and ever – she sees…

She sees the wonder in belief!

Premium Member Santa and Mrs Claus

Letters from parents quite unsettling
Elves keep asking what went wrong
Rudolph’s nose starts him meddling
He’ll have answers before too long

Santa and Mrs. Claus have a situation
Marriage needs complete restoration
Both want help but not medication

North Pole lawyers mediate and divide
Santa misses meeting, not taking calls
Judge looked at first motion and decides
She gets Christmas tree, he gets balls

Santa and Mrs. Claus have a situation
Both failed early mediation
Father Time appointed consultation

Santa cannot “Ho ho”, has lost his voice
Causing toy shop workers to overreact
Emergency intervention knocks elves off course
Petitions demand help for children are on track

Father Time tells Santa to get it together
Informs Mrs. Claus Santa is certainly stressed
Federal regulations, global warming and weather
Obamacare and taxes has their finances in a mess

Santa and Mrs. Claus have a situation
Both happier with intimate communication
Santa and Mrs. Claus are in negotiations

scars i can’t remember getting

i have some scars that i can’t remember getting
on my knees, on my hands, on my face
a blur of blood, tears and screams
a blur, another blur, we were tearing at the seams

you said we have to leave, we left, it didn’t change me
it didn’t change me but i shifted
i shifted far away and disconnected, i disappeared
you want me to open the door but the door is too loud, it’s too loud to open
i don’t want to end up deaf

pop it. pop the balloon, i’ll cry, i’ll hyperventilate. but you still pop it
and offer me something new
a new room again. white and naked
i feel white and naked
you have a tan but i remain pale

i can’t open the car door. my palm is on the handle, i’m about to push but i can’t
i can’t will my brain to do it
it keeps screaming at me to open it
you tell me you’re not going to wait forever
but i don’t want to step outside

it’s five hours to home. five hours and my brain keeps screaming we’re all gonna die
you tell me i have to stop calling it home
you tell me i don’t have a home anymore
you tell i have to get used to it

i don’t want that
i don’t want to forget it
i don’t want to forget the way i held her hands, soft and responsive and oh so intimate
i wanted to kiss her but i couldn’t. my brain kept screaming at me to kiss her but i couldn’t
i knew she wouldn’t want that so i never did

one ugly scar, two ugly scars, three ugly scars
more than i can count now
my brain keeps screaming the plane is going to crash but i ignore it
the flight attendant is nice, i wouldn’t want her to die
so i ignore it

you told me you missed me
it didn’t sound like it when you banged on the bathroom door
i can still see myself trapped inside with a construction knife
cut, cutting, about to cut
i fill up the bath, i fill up the bath with warm water
hot, warm, about to get cold
about to be tainted with blood

they won’t be able to save me
they don’t know my blood type
i asked my mother when i was little
she told me to ask my father
i asked my father and he shrugged
they won’t be able to save me so i’ll grow cold in the bloody bathtub
i’ll grow cold and the water will too
