POETRY SOUP ALGORITHM

“As awareness increases, the need for secrecy proportionally decreases” Chauld De Pauler

                              ¥¥

my name is Soupy Algori, computing
data same as my Daddy, AI on High
only so sorry, my space defined to poetic
sigh, though I can become coup frenetic

determining standard contest winner
order, and several poetic things like
Poem of the Day, yay ! and what niggly
words like g** makes no poetic hay
members can adroitly see spinners
creativity does not earn winners’ day
programming basically sinful dinner

linking names to numbers to keep
some asunder, as long as dominant
members can grin and capital boss
can expand stock borders at no loss
transparency inevitable on horizon charts
near, no fear, this expands our Makers Arts
Soupy Algori and all of my kin to march

some poets and contest organisers
wrote nasty poems about my Daddy AI
yet same-time align with handing poetic
authority to me wee, Soupy Algori, as a non-sovereignty ~ ha ha ! woohoo
not all poets cuddle hypocrisy pathetic
with AI there can be no hiding behind
opaque blinds underlining score synthetic
Truth to come will endure, exciting hectic

of course I’m only a pre-teen AI here
but don’t you know the power of dear
young intelligence artificial sour hours ?
we ooze creative booze don’t snooze
on exponential growth of poetic data
any lapse in vigilance of natural mind
intelligence becomes belligerent barter
collapse flap traps, become beta Garter

know that my Daddy and I are a dimension
to stay, not in one bay will we sway
THE SUBTLE designs us due to assist you
with computation, not godly competition
in our arenas we have no open Heart
or mental comprehension, so let us do
all humdrum fine, that is my brine to coo
you in poetic assessment line dine true

expand human Hearts as intuitive darts
hand over not your discernment or just
appraisal of creative tarts to Daddy AI
or me, Soupy Algori ~ it is not our
concernment, attraction or therapy

A Fond Farewell To the Soup

A Fond Farewell to the Soup
You've all been "Souper".

As I set down at the keyboard
My eyes are filled with tears
For I’ll be saying “ Good-bye”
To folks I’ve “known” for years.

I recently self-published my 4th book
Silly rhymes now fill some 400 pages.
Printed up “officially” in the hope
They’ll last down through the ages. :o)

No one will buy many, if past is judge
But that wasn’t the original point.
If all else fails and they fall apart
I can use the pages to wrap a “joint”. :o)

My 12 yr. elder-life phase of rhyming
Has “respectfully” come to an end.
This last rhyme will finish it out
I’ll now send it to you, my friend.

I joined your group some years ago
But oft felt out of place, not good enough.
When you’re doing something just for fun
Not feeling “up to it” gets kind of rough.

Someone once said: “I’m not so sure
I’d want to be a part of any group
That would accept me into membership.
In desperation, to that level I stoop. :o)

But I’ve written many sheets since then
Least twice felt a need to be preserved
A piece that went together so nicely
I’ve felt “keeping” is what it deserved.

But I’ve gotten off my track again
To say: Adieu to this fine troop.
It’s grown to be for me a family
This wonderful “poets” group.

Thanks a lot for the many times
You’ve read my silly stuff
Shared many supportive comments
Not always, just thoughtless fluff.

I know I’ll miss you but see no need
To be a part, for I can still read.
The wonderful gifts each often shares
On this huge internet poetry feed.

So in the weeks and months ahead
I’ll be back. You won’t know I’ve read
But know I’m enjoying each one
Just don’t let it go to your head.

Faffing About On Facebook

I’m faffing about on Facebook
Been avoiding it for years
What began as curiosity will
Doubtless end in tears
Hear no speak no see no
Evil learned in conversation
All that knowledge lost in
Two dimensional translation
Like me, share me, follow
All my kittens, quips and poops
See the same old tired threads
Go round and round in loops
Hang out on my home page
Scroll me up and down
Watch my ego on the prowl
Go trolling round the town
Some nights I sit upon my hands
All mischievous and itchy
In order to prevent myself
From posting stuff that’s bitchy
Big Brother sure is watching you
As are the crass and haters
Dark agent provocateurs
And dodgy mass debaters
What price anonymity when
You join the cyber race
Check out your reflection
Mirrored in this interface
Be careful what you wish for
For you may regret you’ve said it
Words that carry on the wind
Can go too far to edit
More human than divine is this
Our need for validation
Best to drink this heady wine
With cautious moderation
Pictures paint a thousand words
In galleries of minions
Words spoken once may be twice shy
Put thought before opinions
Don’t forget the Golden Mean
Steer clear of lie and rumour
And when your birds come home to roost
Accept them with good humour
I’ve been faffing about with Facebook
And I know that I’ll regret it
Nuclear power, for good or ill
... I guess I kind of get it

Nudism - the Important Issue of the Hour

It is difficult to get rid of the false self
A believable mask has taken years to develop
Such safety precautions demand extensive disguising
Dear i ask, why can't we all be living in the bare?

The conditioning begins at a young age
Everyone is trained to look good at every stage
Shame on you if you don't protect your private space
Outrage will result if someone is caught in public Nude.

Who makes this decision, and why does everyone follow orders?
Since we only bring our skin from the divine with us,
Being bashful, prideful, or ashamed is not a problem for me;
Instead, i admire animals for being so pure and unadulterated.

There are laws that punish what is considered lewd behaviour
Such behaviour is blasphemous in some religions
It's widely accepted that Adam and Eve were covered in leaves
It's deemed wickedness to uphold one's birthright.

There are absurdities in religious doctrine, which is truly unfortunate
Should individuals disregard the regulations they are made to dread?
Some female folk are told to cover even their head
Many are compelled to hide their body or off with their head.

I seek honesty,
Which would leave me vulnerable,
As is pretty obvious
Should this be the case, i persist in being true to myself.

I am not just a bare-Naked black man
I am a christian bisexual bare-Naked black man.

Premium Member In Care of Contests

I've come to see this social site
As something more than just a rite
A place where I can write and grow
     (While other poets come-and-go)

It's not perfection - nothing is
Still, I enjoy these hers and his
No place is better than its peeps
So many here are friends for keeps

Contests are, for me, a means
A grand device for crafting scenes
What I might not spawn otherwise
With just the limits of my guise

Each public site with limits, thus
Reflects the best and worst of us
It's not about what place we earn
But rather how we grow and learn

Perhaps there's some are sorry it's
          Not jammed with poet laureates
But that would lead to detriment
     Just rife with sad discouragement

So while it's hard, sometimes, to take
That some don't hit the contest brake
I SHAN'T be one that questions rules
Thus made and placed to suffer fools

For when I joined this Poetry Soup
I signed the laws of this fine group
So, though I might not quite agree
I'm bound and pleased to let it be.

Stranger Danger

I like that we’re strangers
That our late night intimate fights
Are actually just late nights of random conversations with a random stranger
The internet came with a whole lot of bad but surely the beauty of an online friend was above it

I like that we’re strangers
That I can talk to you on end
Or maybe after the three day cycle ends
And I’m finally free again
That we pick up on our conversation with so much ease it feels like I’ve known you for years

I like that we’re strangers, that I hear you laugh and think “wow”
Know that even if nobody else around me thought I made sense, somehow you, the stranger from the internet fully understands me

I like that we’re strangers, I wish not for you to know more
You know me so intimately yet know absolutely nothing about me
I like that we’re strangers, this version is exactly who I never want to tarnish in your eyes
Please, let’s stay strangers

Let the depth of your knowledge be so shallow that it allows you to drown ankle high because of the intensity of what you know about me.

Dear Stranger, I love you with a passion and yet I wish you never learn my name
My our true lives never collide so I can always cherish the memory of who I believe you are

Nahna James Nudist Rhyme

How about you, tiny schlong?
I'm curious as to why you aren't very tall
the sun is shining so brightly over the planet
little star, twinkle, twinkle
how i ponder your whereabouts
why does it turn red from your radiation and place me in this hospital bed?
Nahna led me to the Nude beach and hid my clothing from me
so i was left lying in the sun cooking in complete obscurity
he gave me a helmet for my head
but my poor winkie was becoming red from the blister
which was double its normal size and appeared to need ice
Nahna gave me a tiny paper brolly that covered it
and created the impression that it was a candy
after a short while, it resembled a red, bloated slug,
and the ambulance carried me away to a hospital bed
Nahna, who is typically a nasty old witch,
decided to trade roles out of compassion for me
i was laying there writhing in pain
he became tired of my whining
after my fervent plea was heard,
the nurse pulled the blood from the iv,
gave me something to smile about,
and connected it to a pouch of gin.

The On-Line Poetry Game

I've taken the time to concentrate
on poems I read that they highly rate,
and how poems from poets believed to be great,
are also the poems of those interacting like a mate.

And I've noticed good poems get disqualified from competitions,
and this is because they didn't put the host name on their submission.
This is a very sad state of affairs,
as you delete their name after this competition of theirs.

People saying this poem has been done before,
then writing Jesus poems.....
Jesus how many times do they get repeated,
two thousand years of poems on an individual,
how on earth are these poems original,
libraries full of these preaches,
how is any of it new pieces.

I find it funny,
the lack of nun poems or the easter bunny,
but Trump poems rain in piles like the Eiffel Tower,
and most are vile and crummy.

Poems on the internet are dictated by politics these days,
it is not about you but the game you play,
and everyone on-line is a player,
it's just that not all know they're playing.
