Your son was a lowlife hooligan.
Last year he murdered my son.
When it came to having the ability to show mercy, your son sure did lack it.
He shot my son right between the eyes because of his expensive jacket.
My boy gave him the jacket but he killed him anyway.
When I identified my son's body, your son had to pay.
Your son wanted to prove to his gang members that he was big and bad.
He shot my son in cold blood and returning the favor made me feel glad.
Your son was arrested but a bleeding heart judge let him out on bail.
A few hours later your son became the victim of a 44 Magnum Shell.
I killed him the same exact way that he killed my son, a bullet right between the eyes.
I didn't realize that a man could get so much pleasure by seeing another person die.
It was an eye for an eye, I pulled my gun on him and it felt so good to shoot.
But your son's death isn't good enough for me, I hope he fries in Hell to boot.
(This is a fictional poem)
she's gasping for
the lifelong turmoil
under the spotlights
and cobwebs
into the cavity
into the forlorn mill
by marshy meadows
a passer-by mumbles
and kids play hopscotch
meanwhile in cold blood
she has been cynical
and started a hunger strike
when the kids kicked all the molehills
tender surrender
to tuneful fragments
of Monday mourn
the pilgrim carried
a burden with legacy
and everyone heard
the coalmine symphony
playing overnight
it was a helter-skelter
a midwinter mirage
scrawled with dagger
on a corrosive corset
she watched the flamingos
out on a field
when all of a sudden
hordes of hunchbacked
mannequins stood up
and she was like
what the heck?
Screaming headlines erupted...
BREAKING news...massacre
barrage of gunfire
wrought countless deaths
newly minted unknown
mass murderer suddenly infamous
speculation immediately
trumpeted hate crime
targeted, premeditated, calculated
mass murderous sprees,
gunmen gloated gleefully
resultant mayhem throve
countless dead tally increased
security details, police,
and emergency crews
barked orders while
yellow crime tape cordoned
mortally wounded
and seriously injured
rushed into onsight
triage units as sirens blared
killer(s) coup shattered
tenuous complacency
prior cautious optimism
hesitantly blinked awoke
initial six months
two thousand nineteen
witnessed eerie calm
before tabloid magazines
ripped pages incomplete bios
unleashed blitzkrieg bullets
rent asunder sanguine flickr
joyus kindled linkedin
outlook presaging quaint
good n plenti peace on Earth
good will to men/women
annihilated as bullets besieged
random innocent victims
giddily, indiscriminately, wantonly...
slain in cold blood
immediate conspirator theorists
gin up rumor mill
defend homicidal maniac
simultaneously don MAGA hats
invectives incurring anti racist
bigoted, capital one
demagogue googly eyed president
unsurprisingly witnesses
popularity uptick
"loose canon" Grinchy grin
hooligan prince smiles
Machiavellian ghost lauds
apprentice regarding 2020 candidacy
able, ready, and willing
promise furnishing arms to the teeth
for every man, woman, and child
as campaign slogan.
He felt he owed it to the leader and fatherland the country
of ancestry and birth and joined the conquest in cold blood
convinced that a chill in his bones was better than defeat
a young universal soldier of courage and deceitful promises
Honour glory and battle screams lured him into the war
of all wars for freedom justice and a badge on his chest
With stealthy resolve and his trigger finger happy to kill
he marched crawled and cowered in bottomless trenches
fierce brave proud and ready to give his boyish conviction
cannon fodder no doubt but he never hesitated for the cause
believed to be on the right side of endless history and death
Invincible he had no conscience other than contempt for
the weak and unworthy who stood in the way of his rifle
They gave him the Iron Cross First Class for surviving
enemy fire so violent that most of his comrades vanished
with a last prayer and thoughts of their loved ones at home
Ultimately his battalion was mangled and the medal crushed
by tank chains when the rusty pin pierced deep into his thorax
Missing in action presumed killed he was reduced to a letter
widow notified that he received a distinguished service award
but the terminal token staid buried close to his shattered heart

Gaza, from a large prison, has turned into
The graveyard of humanity, in the gloom of Arab world’s complacency.
The Gazans now await the awakening of our robbed conscience.
Witness to their suffering, we are numbed by the bombs’ shockwaves
And the ether of injustice, reeking through the pages of New York Times.
My eyes are fixed on UN Resolution 194, the right of return, buried under the
Rhetoric, Israel has the right to defend itself. Say that to the two year olds or the infants killed in cold blood,
"You are the Amalek, and we have the right to annihilate you." The grim sound grows louder with every bomb.
When the Israel cause reigns supreme and you are robbed of your rights,
There will be no peace based on justice. And then you suffer, generation after generation,
Kept alive by love of one’s homeland.
Every crack you see in the wall, is the story of a heroic battle.
They may have exiled you to an ever shrinking enclave, yet with your courage and honor,
You have earned the sympathy of nations, east and west.
Where can I find the words that capture your grand resilience, surviving Nekbah after Nekbah?
Let the scoundrels persist in their treachery, the perpetrators will never be mistaken for victims, they’re villains in God’s eyes witnessing the glory of your endurance and suffering.
Gaza is a divine cause, a manifest destiny, bound for restoration in its full authenticity and pride.
Don’t cry Gaza, you have lost many but see the flash of joy on the horizon,
The hour is near.
You read in the papers you watch on the news
Coalition soldiers amidst as the killing accrues
In these theatres of war we lose many lives
In these wars of man only death thrives
But every so often there's a turn for the good
A life is saved they couldn't do what they could
The lives of a family murdered by cowards
Shot in cold blood bullets they showered
But from this tragedy a life was saved
It's of a little girl and a soldier who braved
A Chief Master Sergeant in the USAF
Allows mans humanity to kindly show face
This little girl who was saved was shot in the head
He stayed by her side for she should have been dead
To see pictures like this in the theatres of war
Maybe it's understandable to see what we fight for
An alleged soldier in wanton family wipe
What takes a soldier to become their type
My heart goes out to this little girl
And all the other children caught up in this war ridden world
Written on the spur of the moment after receiving a picture from Sara Kendrick

Here is a short story of a child who hard
A lot to say to a mother who flashed her child like toilet paper What was my crime?
At the early stage of my life
Just 12 weeks, three days before sunrise
The dream I had was
to be one of mankind
(But yet you had other plans )
But you had me killed before time in cold blood
Now am in a place we're all the unloved and motherless
Children go
Was it my time
What was my crime?to long for the breath of life
What was my crime?
To be denied of life
You conspired to my demise as
You watched with your eyes
As he gave you the pill that took me out of this earth And left me breath less
And took away my life without a care about the place I was taken. Now i cry out in silence ??
What was my crime?
To be murdered in cold blood by your hands
Without a care you cut the code
What made you to deny me the right to life ?
You never denied the man you had a one night stand
You pierced my heart
And deprived me of my life on Earth
What was my crime?
To be banished from land of the living
And be sold to the dead were i rest for rest of this misrable life
What was my crime?
To be orphaned like a sniper shooting hes short led me to the other side.
Murder is a crime, without an excuse
Crime with a price that can not be paid
If given a second chance
I'll rather stay back
Than be found in the belly of a murderer.
What have I got to do to make you love me
Why won't you love back
How am I supposed to love me
When you won't even look at me back
I am starring at the man in the mirror
And no 1 is starring back
It's like I am a vampire
Awash in cold blood
And crocodile tears
The years have been unkind to
Like sad songs and the rights of those I have wronged
I wrote on the back of a postcard to my Dad
How wonderful life is with you in my world
When the Doctor had given him less than a month to live
Stealing every intake of breath
Loved to death
Leader of our family rag tag band
If only I could hold your soft hands
One final time
I could love myself again
Love Like your everything
Poets who spew
Poets who haven’t a glue
Poets who use words
To intimidate and skew
Opinions twisted in division
Instead of healing societies wounds
When serving men are killed in cold blood
No matter my view
My heart bleeds for their families
Compassion is my vision
I am NO THUG
Notes: Dedicated to 2 police officers killed on duty in cold blood in New York City.
At the time of this tragedy, it is tasteless and crude to write anything at all that
Belittles men who serve. With all that has happened in the United States, concerning the police, let us remember, most serve and defend with pride, we must bring people together
Not divide and especially not spew hatred and falsehoods. God bless
Suddenly we appear
On a land with tinctured atmosphere
The cross, the moon and star
A sovereign state more ethnical than wazobia
A smooth and broad path before us
Hungry for our feet to break the hush
Alas the road becomes starved
With thorns and thistles upwardly breaking its soil
Like the ape, bigotry evolves
Extremist in every nook and cranny
Untamed by the scepter and khaki
Callously murdering people in cold blood
Enemies of peace lurking around
Refusing to walk in the path of love
Killing people with façade of hide and skin
The unpunished traitors of love and nationalism
Dedicated to those who lost their lives in Southern Kaduna massacre
