Premium Member Thankful I Know Him

Bask in the glow of His love,
Remember - He holds the keys to my joy
my hopes and my dreams,
Listen to His voice, rhythmic and slow,
Welcome the wonder that He bestows…
On those who believe that He knows,
Beautiful, breathtaking, inspirations that see,
Through the darkness, through the shadows,
Into the silence of silent, starry seas…

Bask in the light that He breaths,
From the music of a heaven where He leads,
Souls to the mansion He constructs,
So they’re forever blessed with a home,
Shelter from the darkest of storms,
Heaven’s most worthy are often known…

As the souls God saved through His Son,
The One who came to earth to die on a cross,
In three days, come back from death…
To lead His followers through their fears,
Into the wonder of a faith that lasts throughout the years,
Singing praises to the One who agrees…

it is His free gift, this salvation from sin,
the grace that sends souls to the King of Kings,
for the lasting peace that reminds hearts to hear
beneath the fear, through the worries who tempt,
into the promise of a forever with the One who brings
light that is forever alive, always revealing the truth…

It is this Jesus who opens hearts to believe in a love…
That was given by the One who makes life worthwhile!

Thanks to Jesus, who paid the price…
For a hope I couldn’t have bought with any amount.
This hope He brings hearts – it is heaven sent!
This love He stirs in us – it is His good Father’s gift!
This peace He encourages – it is His Holy Spirit!

Forever and always, I’m so thankful to know Him!
The One who turned my fears to assurance,
The One who turned my despair to encouraged,
The One who made my life feel worth it,
Like I have everything I need – in the Son,
The One who leads me with a gentle hand,
Restoring my faith, sharing God’s plan… so that
I understand – with Him, I am happier than I’ve ever been!

I love You, Jesus… thank You for being my best friend!

October 1 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Malachi 1-4

Key Verse – Malachi 1:2 I have loved you, saith the LORD...

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR LOVING US

Praise be to God for loving us:
Fighting for our future by His finishing
Fixing our firm faith’s focus against fear
Fulfilling our final freedom with His forever
Flourishing while feeding us in our festivities
Furnishing our fellowship by His fervent friendship

Malachi 2:11 Praise be to the Lord for warning
us against profaning His holiness by our:
Commandment-breaking
Covetousness-brewing
Corruption-breeding
Covenant-blowing
Curse-buzzing

Malachi 3:6 Praise be to the Saviour for changing not;
and never consuming us toward our:
Triumphant testimony
Thankfulness for His truth
Tests along tempestuous trials
Toil in His temple by His treatment
Trust for Him against turbulent terrors
Afflictions around abominable ailments

Malachi 4:5 Praise be to the Holy Spirit for
awaking us regarding the dreadful day; thus, we must:
Pray while practicing His precepts
Prepare by His plan purposively
Progress midst His prosperity
Perform through His power
Praise His providence. Amen!

Premium Member Holy Lord Almighty

I kneel before the altar
Christ bowing an unpure spirit
to receive your blessing

In a sign of the cross
I salute you bread of life
Drinking from the blood of your Holy Love

Within Faith a mere shadow in prayer
A small seed Immortal one
from the vine of your existence

I see your throne of Divine council
speaks with liberty peace finds home
Baptised a child from Eden

Cleansed to see your most Holy Spirit
Hail most Gracious king commander of the living
waters this soul beholding Amazing Grace

Onto you Oh Lord I am disobedient at times
In causing Your suffering and pain sorry master
a person feels unworthy and guilty of sins

Yet I believe in your goodness Gracious One
Immaculate heart soul forgiving
I would wash your feet with my teardrops

The Christian Race

Paul said to press on forward
Towards the heavenly prize
For if we run the Christian race
We will come to realize
That in spite of the prisons in our lives
Keeping us in mental and physical chains
With faith in God our course of action
Will no longer be tethered not restrained
We might need a spiritual upgrade
To function at full capacity
And every new day we need to freshly pray
With a renewed tranquility

Now some people say they don't have enough time
But time is a tangible commodity
We need to learn to structure our time
Using our Christian agility
It's most essential we put God first
And always remember the grace
And mercy that on us He's bestowed
For no man nor woman on this earth
Has the power to help you spiritually grow

When running the Christian race
We need to understand
That if we want to make God laugh
Just come up with a plan
As God has a destiny for each of us
One full of humility and grace
And in spite of the circumstances in our lives
He'll help us run this race
By looking at the Lord and not at the load
By keeping our eyes on God and not on the road

So run the good race with encouragement
From the Holy Spirit anew
And with Jesus as the wind beneath our wings
There's nothing we can't do
So press on forward looking through
The windshields of life
No longer using the rearview mirror
Just laser focused on Christ

Called To Be a Vessel

the gospel of Luke is the most detailed accounting of Jesus Christ
It reveals His conception, His early childhood and His missionary life
In the gospel of Luke he tells about God's 2 part master plan
to deliver a Messiah into Israel's hands

the first part of the plan was to send an anointed blessing
to Zachariah and Elizabeth for all their years of childless stressing
a son was finally born to them whose mission would be one of preparation
John the Baptist who would pave the way for the One coming to deliver salvation

the second part of the plan was the supernatural conception of God's chosen one
a virgin girl with a true faith to be the vessel for His earthly son
Mary was her name and in her the Lord God had found favor
the 2nd cousin to John the Baptist and now to become the mother of our Savior

Mary went to her cousin Elizabeth and told her of the Angel's words
at first she was anxious and troubled and then she thought it was absurd
then Elizabeth said, look at me, I carry a miracle in my aged womb
and if the Angel of God said that to you in your mind now make the room
we are connected by blood and it makes perfect sense and sound reasoning
that God would give us both a miracle
in order to do what for Him is most pleasing
and at that meeting the child in Elizabeth's womb
received the Holy Spirit and jumped for joy
the confirmation that Mary was the vessel chosen
to bring forth God's little boy
called to be a vessel Mary was the chosen one
called to be a vessel to give life to God's only Son

as God has a purpose and a mission for each of us
and all He asks is that in His word we learn to trust
for when God gives you a word the situation is already in place
and when God gives you a word just accept His infinite wisdom and grace
it might not make much sense to you but that's all right
just do whatever God desires of you and be acceptable in His sight

called to a vessel for in you God has found favor
called to be a vessel because of your obedient behavior
called to be a vessel by accepting God's purposeful hands
when you're called to be a vessel to carry out the Lord's master plans

IN GOD'S PRESENCE

reveal the path to Your presence
there I long to be
where the fullness of joy
now awaits me

saturate me with Your peace
make me conscious of Your presence
take me to that place Lord
where I'll dwell in Your essence

let Your goodness fence me in
surround me with Your grace
at Your right-hand forevermore
heaven's anointed place

saturate me with Your peace
make me conscious of Your presence
take me to that place Lord
where I'll dwell in Your essence

In God's present there's truth, power
and infinite wisdom
remove my sin, let me in
open to me the kingdom
show me the way
for in God's presence there's joy
make known to me the place
where His mercy will be deployed

saturate me with peace
let the Holy Spirit be released
surround me with Your grace
let me dwell in Your space

saturate me with Your peace
make me conscious of your presence
take me to that place Lord
where I'll dwell in Your essence

Premium Member Waiting For the Holy Spirit

Waiting for the Holy Spirit

As we stand amongst the pews

Waiting for the basket to go ‘round

Hearing the hymns from the choir

Smelling the incense that burns so sweetly

His Holy Spirit is coming.

As we stand amongst the parishioners

Waiting to receive the body of Christ

Feeling the breath of the person behind you

Whispering prayer on the back of your neck

Seeing the altar servers standing at attention

His Holy Spirit is coming.

As we kneel in the pews for prayer

Waiting for the ministry to complete its chore

Hearing the infant cry

Seeing the mouths move in silent prayer

Smelling the wood of the pew

Feeling your knees adjust

We all wait for the Holy Spirit.

His Holy Spirit has arrived.

Appreciation of the Small

Drinking yesterday’s coffee,
not throwing it out.
Looking around at the four walls.
They are still there…and I am still here.

Time has lost all meaning.
I had to look at a real calendar.
I have begun to mark off the days,
with giant X’s.
They seem somehow comforting,
angry and alienating at times too.

I am holding up.
My family is well.
No one is sick so far.
But we have all been changed.
Not in a small way.
Dramatically.

How many socks does any one person need?
How many shoes, at one time?
How many pens in the drawer?
Paper unwritten upon,
but yet holding the promise of something,
Yet to come…

Take from this,
all of this…
Learn something you did not know before.
Do life differently when next you are…
given the chance to;
say hi to a friend,
hug a loved one,
walk a dog without care.
Plant flowers in the sun,
ride your motorcycle for fun…

Faithful To the Finish

to be trustworthy, assured and constant at best
also totally committed to complete life's contests
faithful to the finish is what we all must be
devoted and souled out as we traverse our journeys

God has a crown of righteous waiting for us all
but we must finish our race and never stop nor stall
to hold on to our faith in this race that we will run
and never forget we'll be victorious when all is said and done

God will empower us each step of the way
His Holy Spirit will strengthen us each and every day
yes there will be challenges, temptations and some strife
but as long as we stay faithful as we live this life
we will rise above all adversity
to stomp on all sin and perversity

faithful to the finish is how we must prevail
now able to tell the devil to go back to hell
we've all been given a purpose and a mission
as children of God we're His holy coalition
so lets be patient as we rest in God's environ
faithful to the finish as to God we keep our eyes on

walking by faith and not by sight
trusting in God to guide us right
faithful to the finish as we move with the utmost urgency
faithful to the finish as we move with godly certainty
