Come, Holy Spirit
Ah what are you in this high frequency life?
Bewitched I am by your sheer silence;
Consumed fully by your soothing vibes;
Deepening, animating my very existence.
Enter you please with or without my behest;
For my full reality is dependent on you;
Glorious, gentle summon let me stay with you;
Harden me not, useless talking be ceased.
In my throne you sit that I may find a sweet home;
Just utter sublime to listen to your inner stirrings;
Keep me mindful of you that I may find myself in tune;
Like a river, you flow where you would like to go;
Mostly to where my inner voice and spirit slumber.
Nestle me in your presence to reveal life’s essence;
Overwhelming it may be; yet it is vital to me;
Preserve me from harm and what is irrelevant;
Quietly search the depths of my soul entwined;
Relieve me of pointless demanding human toils;
Spirit, oh, Holy Spirit, you are peace and light!
Truth eternal share unto me like a faithful friend;
Undo this false character to unfold my real gem;
Virtuous are you for not tolerating my whims;
Wisdom you offer amid confusion is enlightenment.
Xanthate to my tasteless life, that’s what you are!
Yeast to raise my soul dry, so I may be revivified!
Zephyr, that bends my all-knowing will, come to me again.
