JUST ANYTHING WON'T DO

for us, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice 
to redeem us for our sins, He gave his life 

just anything won't do. 
you can't come to God half stepping
just anything won't do 
remember it's Him you are repping 

God sees what's in our hearts 
and He comprehends 
our words and our actions 
are reflections of Him 

just anything won't do 
you can't come to God half stepping 
just anything won't do 
remember it's Him you are repping 

God has set things in order 
according to His purpose and will 
He just wants His children to be 
Holy Spirit filled
when it comes to God 
we need to recognize 
His infinite love, mercy and grace 
are the ultimate prize 

just anything won't do 
we can't do it our own way 
never forget who gave us life 
and our Savior Yahweh 

just anything won't do 
you can't come to God half stepping 
just anything won't do 
remember it's Him you are repping 

as children of the Most High 
we should know better 
God doesn't demand He commands 
just abide by His Holy Letters 

just anything won't do

when it comes to the Lord Almighty 
for when you come to Him 
remember to tread lightly

don't step to God with strange fire 
come true, above reproach 
and  Scripture inspired
