Emaciated test-tube mutations
Raised apart in pristine distillations
Conceived in dexedrine celebrations
and the crazed, ecstatic inhalations
of the professor’s choicest pheromones
Right-angled, inverted, and star-spangled
Drained and dangled till their nerves were jangled
Nearly psychedelically strangled
Quantumly, at a distance, entangled
On celestially balanced microphones
Their unproven kaleidoscope harmonics
Haywire mk-ultra histrionics
Phosphoric rhapsodical symphonics
And their backward time-lapse polyphonics
Transcribed on interstellar xylophones
For homunculus scintillations
Splintered, syncopated oscillations
And desperate mute gesticulations
No one beats those galactic sensations
Our own mad-twin Splitzmodic Vibratones
Family foibles and festive baubles to share
Frivolity frolics jollity & alcoholic histrionics
Swilled fables & tables filled with similar fare
Suggestive seasonal strolls for restive souls
Cast bitten still smitten bestilled by chilled air
Bedevilled dishevelled by some distilled wares
Pagan past perch in their old peculiar church
Dare to revel with another level devil may care
No graces or airs just familiar faces and lairs
Don't be reckless or feckless this Michaelmas
Feuds rude moods eschewed along with despair
Plied with yuletide pride bliss of this solstice kiss
At last no faff or fuss for us secular Christmas fayre
In cavernous Swiss bank vaults
Slavery, is a word filed under anecdotes as valued as gold caught
By some inbred morons I’m told
To be resuscitated, wasn’t evil then
Elated? There was power to be
Used, unabated they put leaders; into
State shoes, ‘no matter if they chafed em’ paid for like goods
To lead, astray whole nations
Unto tangled brambles of fanciful
Climate alarmist notions, sickness was their remedy
In fact; they even introduced the maladies!
With them it’s all just theatre and hype; they have a
Consistency like tripe. Just a body of
Flatulence…..Craving much
Opulence, descendants of nazis
With all that old nonsense if you
Just tease, the narrative of disasters, you’ll find they
Are fully plastered; zonked out on toxins
Remote of awareness, default locked
Of cognition' lacking, no empathy;
Just histrionics; is all I see is big
Plans they sure thunk-em, yet
‘Twas. ‘All the bunkum that sunk em.’

Saturday, April 11, 2020 found me in a mess,
Fed up entirely with virus histrionics and hysteria.
With exaggeratitions, lies, it is enough to kill you
I was determined to not even come to the Soup!
Even here, is more boogeyman stuff~
So I planned to hide under blankets of flannel fluff.
Till a Souper friend called to announce a poem of mine
Was the POTD and my world began to shine.
May God bless her days with His sunshine!
Chantelle!! You know you are walking love!
Thank you for being my good news dove.
Your phone call was a fanatic, positive nudge.
Love you and thank you!

Historical Histrionics
The past, alas, cannot be deleted
old scars camouflage denial’s guise
history’s mistakes are oft repeated
when reformation seeks a darker prize
erasure of memories, however bleak,
cloaked within the silence of hates roar
drowning out of voices lest they speak
of truths encased within a living core.
The future, alas, cannot be completed
forsaking the sad lessons of the past
nor forgotten enemies defeated
waging battles within self structured castes.
Would we burden our children with such hate
condemn them to relive unchanging fate?

A chokeslam!
Goodnight sweet prince
Goodnight yawning hippo ****
With rice wine coming out your ears
Boom boom sticks
A wisecracker talking head
Histrionics at the bandstand
Eliminated by more than one can shake
Hospitalised due to a
Finishing move on the concrete
The poodle evacuated worldy goods
Outside the pizza restaurant
You left a cigarette on a bicycle seat
To show how gracious you were
Your toying entanglements
Left chairs being thrown
A Scotsman strangled
You with his no laughing matter arm
Tables, ladders and chairs
The human lounge, hairy stool and burger beds
Gape and keep a weather eye on
For those aha visions and afflatus
Our history teacher watched Smackdown
He said it's great theatre
He is quite a talented actor who is considered better than good.
However, he has to have the dirtiest mouth in Hollywood.
Achieving great fame, his name is one everybody would know.
He has appeared in three big movies with Robert DeNiro.
Those films were “Goodfellas”, “Raging Bull”, and “Casino”.
His histrionics are accompanied with language so dirty and raw.
In the theater audience, there is many a pronounced guffaw.
This actor’s voice usually comes out loud and clear.
I would tell you what he said, but they don’t allow profanity here.
For those of you who consider his words “noise pollution”,
putting your fingers in your ears is one good solution.
In the tree walk
We were walking in the trees
Leaving all the crap below
we entered another world
of insects, birds, squirrels, bats and bees
communicating trees
in unconditioned coolness
in the above living
where everything is breathing
unaware, indifferent, trusting, being
This was no world of false words
Or vain lies and posturing
This was no television soap opera
Of feigned emotions or histrionics
Here like a plunge into a tropical sea
Our face was pushed against the edge
Of a silent world in motion
A world without words
In a structure organized like a jewel
Or a sunny smiling symphony
Here we were
As if floating under the sea
Off coral reefs
With snorkel or tank
Where there we left all the crap above
Now here in the trees
We left all the crap below
It’s either crap above or crap below
It’s still crap though
So burn it up in a uranium fire
Let these two worlds meet in us in love
In the air where paradise is waiting below and above
"Ennui Sets In”
Whenever pen is placed
Between purloined phalanges,
When my mind unfolds and tears along the seams,
I know it’s time to move my thoughts,
Through the underground;
That dark crusty void
Of dreary dreams diminished,
Where loose hell raisers floss and shine,
Comb and spray,
As drowning voices backwash yesterday’s histrionics,
Dark-eyed winches peek through the
Centers of dead doughnuts;
Bleacher seats rust and wallow
In half-moon emancipation,
Ennui sets in…
My bow tie knows all the answers.
I cry and beseech for all those tomorrows
To resurrect, to pontificate, to loose
The bowels of screaming sunsets, yet sutured.
I flinch. I sigh.
Force majeure got in the way.
Polka dot panacea,
Wretched weasels in the underbrush,
Prufrock is the metaphor to mangle, impugn, vivify,
And otherwise squeeze until the cows come home.
I’m a poet without a message.
My heart pumps vexations of vaseline,
I am dry and empty
Like the musty moans of sweet madness,
Emanating elusively
From the hollow of ancient days,
Amidst unanswered questions,
At the fork in the road,
Two blocks northwest of my last dying breath,
I am the last sunset!
Ennui sets in.
Twilight vivisection holds the door open this time.
There is no respite,
From Raphael’s regurgitated Renaissance.
He jumps backward,
Through the darkening dissonance,
Dissolved, dismayed, dumbfounded.
Skipper Frank lies dead in the glittering gutter.
The Pancake Man melts into the waxworks.
Madame Tussaud wonders why.
Ennui sets in.
Dead meat saliva feeding
The roses of Robespierre.
Little Lord Fauntleroy is mixing martinis, and
A dozen dainty dames are dancing
Past the midnight of my time.
A blue trumpet, buzzing in the steamy shadows.
Lapping corpses line the phosphoric hillsides;
It’s not what it appears to be.
Truth and beauty perceived in the morning mirror.
Ennui sets in.
Sometimes extraordinary earthquakes radically rearrange the landscape
Sometimes continents collide, violently vying for the same space
Sometimes the savanna becomes a mountain range dividing two valleys
Sometimes your two best friends are a girl and a guy
she likes him
you like her
Sometimes the savanna becomes a mountain range dividing two valleys
sometimes you wander into a romance novel
not ready for
a love triangle
Sometimes continents collide, violently vying for the same space
sometimes relationships shift and you realize
you are not
the best man
Sometimes extraordinary earthquakes radically rearrange the landscape
sometimes your two best friends get married
and you need
new best friends
