Touched By An Angel

Saturday, April 11, 2020 found me in a mess,
Fed up entirely with virus histrionics and hysteria.
With exaggeratitions, lies, it is enough to kill you

I was determined to not even come to the Soup!
Even here, is more boogeyman stuff~
So I planned to hide under blankets of flannel fluff.

Till a Souper friend called to announce a poem of mine
Was the POTD and my world began to shine.
May God bless her days with His sunshine!

Chantelle!! You know you are walking love!
Thank you for being my good news dove.
Your phone call was a fanatic, positive nudge.

Love you and thank you!

You must feel privileged to know that you were being checked by a friend who proved herself. I was more angry at the outer world and wonder what Can I do, to stop this overblown hysteria. In CA, population 40 million. The death toll is 634! What's not on the media, it's been here since October, 2019 per studies at Stanford U.Proving a recovery rate of 98 per cent and death from virus with other causes is 2per cent. Herd immunity works. Took awhile to GET it. This is not the Black Death! Chantelle really helped. Panagiota xx
