Thank You
By Michelle Morris
2000

Thank You Lord for this lovely day,
That You’re there for me, come what may.
Thank You for Your guiding light,
That shines for me each blessed night.

Thank You for the home I have,
Where I can hide, when things get bad.
Thank You for my food and water,
My devoted husband and my lovely daughter.

Thank You for electricity,
For my sanitation so necessary;
Thank You for my good health,
For opportunities to work towards wealth.

Thank You for my education,
A necessary gift for my blessed nation.
Thank You for giving us Your love,
Received in blessings from above.

Thank You for the teachings of Your Son,
Without Him we would all be none.
Thank You for Adam and Eve,
For creating us with the choice to believe.

Thank You for the earth, our globe,
Without its bounty we’d have no hope.
Thank You for the moon and stars,
That we can visualise Your greatness from afar.

Premium Member Starting Over As a Freshman

Applications are done
Relaxing under the sun
High School tassels distant memory
Senior prom night issues buried
New relationships are the present worry
Bringing stress with the luggage they carry
Acceptance letter was received
From number one school ‘would you believe?’
Leaving the state
New adventures a wait
Sounding exciting and great
Yesterday was above the rest
Today going back having to impress
University colors are the dress code
As it was told
Touring the campus trying to get it sold
Specific lure was a certain school
Program of study academically cool
Selected a major months ago
It was in coming student thinking what they know
First week starts before Labor Day
Then a long weekend ‘now determined to stay’
Courses scheduled and made
Calculating possible grade
Hoping it was a good trade
Since the credit card used when paid
Car is fully packed
Even the roof has tied down laundry sack
Not one more thing can fit
Only free space where the driver sits
Key turn start the engine
Four year commitment firm decision
All this to get an entrepreneur salary position
Or is it a place to mature
Adulthood knocking on the door
Whispering in the ear ‘are you sure?’
About the curriculum core
All it takes knowing oneself
Socializing positive and in good health
Navigating through honesty and wealth
Books are armor for a power strut
Realizing with others ‘you know what?’
Walking away
One thing to say
Reminding upperclassman ‘you graduate in May’
College is the time
Challenge the mind
And in the end a well-educated person is the find
Listening to the pomp and circumstance chime

Premium Member My Wishes

My wishes; my wishes!
Oh, what are my wishes?
So many to wish on a star!
Love and peace on this earth.
That no children would starve.
Most obvious these choices are.

But let me be greedy
and tell what I’d wish for
if wishes were granted to me.
I’d wish for a new car -
a beauty and sporty.
A sweet ride like Lamborghini.

I’ll now make this simple.
Why wish for each item
when money can get me most stuff?
I'd wish that no matter
the things that I wanted,
my cash would be always enough!

So that is my big wish.
I guess you might say
be blessed with Bill Gates type of wealth.
But for now in my life
I have only one wish -
completely regaining good health!

Premium Member Life Consumes Death

It can be animate or it can be inanimate "Life" will consume death!Do you have bad health? Some kind of living form can cause death! Life consumes death! The iron structure rusted and was rotting away! The life giving waters, and the "Living Earth" that the structure was sitting on consumed the entire building, and finally it was absorbed into the living ground! Life consumes death! "Life" is all around, and "Life" will consume "Hell"in "Time"if you are "Hell" bound: Life does not fool around!!!The living earth consumes every creature that exist upon it! The living earth consumes the animate and the inanimate!!! The living earth consumes those who are satanic,as they will live in "Hell" forever!!! The "Living Earth" will consume "The Devil Himself"so that we can have a happy life and plenty of wealth and good health!!!! Life abounds all around: Take time to look, and hunt around, and see how much "Life"is around. The "Creator "of "Life" can consume all death! "Death Where IS YOUR VICTORY"? "GRAVE WHERE IS YOUR STING? LIFE CONSUMES DEATH!!!! The baby died and went to heaven, and was transformed to a new life where happiness shines bright in that heavenly light! "The evil man and women died and were transformed to a new life where hatred, anxiety, suffering goes on all day ,and all night, and nothing is ever right in the "Hell" that they created for themselves in their evil "Life"!The transformation is what is "Left" after "Life" transforms "Death"! What is left is either good or evil!!! "Good Spirit" or "Evil Spirit"!!!Happiness maker,or Evil Maker!!! Life consumes death, and when we look upon death it looks like a mess, but it is good to know and realize that "The Best is yet to come"even if they drop another "Atomic Bomb"!!!!

My Wish For You

Dear Friend Saha,
Be peace upon you,
At a time you do trace peace like umbrella in rain,
In the aftermath of your business pinning and paining you,
You are in debt,
Your good health left,
Deserting your friends like birds the lakes,
You may remember me for telling now and then,
God is created lives with the ability to feed them all,
A tiny ant to a small bird,
The hands of friends are tied down,
To resolve a solution to your ill fate on,
I thought of introducing a good friend,
You believe but leave,
A friend never says no,
A friend telling all to ask readying to grant,
Any thing,any time,in bulk,
In his inventory no the word no,
He is beyond needs,
He doesn't store any thing for him,his kins for use,
Everything in his godowns,he owns,
Everything to give in lump,prompt,
Ask the God created you plus your life long meals,
The one to take care,
The one to share,
My friend Saha, take my words of wisdom,
When the God wants to help someone he appoints another,
In your case that's me,I hope,
Take my words,
Ask God,
He will make your business boom,
Repay all your debts,
Restore your good health,
Take my words,
I want to sail on this great life Ocean joining hands with you,
Sitting inside the friendSHIP side by side,
Take my words,
Success is guaranteed like the Sun rise in the East tomorrow,
Your friend in need and indeed-Safa

Premium Member In Sickness

Mother of Perpetual Help
You know how much I suffer because of my sickness
Not only my body but my soul is also affected
I do not even have the strength to pray as I should
Nothing gives me any relief
Even the visits and compassion of my friends
Family bring me no comfort
My courage is beginning to fail
 imPatience
Sadness are having their effect on me
Most tender
Loving Mother
My feelings of distress
I put all my trust in you
Your compassionate heart will surely have pity on me
 Merciful Mother
Do not forget your devoted
afflicted child’s (here mention your sickness)
[Please] ask your Son, Jesus [Father] Christ
To give me the courage
Strength to accept my sickness as the will of [Eternal] God and to bear it with patience
resignation
If it is [Eternal] God’s will
[Please] intercede for me in recovering my former good health;
If it is [Eternal] God’s will that I continue to suffer or
That this sickness should lead me to a better life
I am perfectly resigned
Loving Mother
I am confident you will obtain the grace to do whatever [Eternal] God asks of me
Amen

(To be sung to the tune of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”)

Grateful for our freedom-reign
Blissful with triumphant gain
Pardon brings sweet peace to heart
Marked by gracious loving part
Kindness shouts helpfulness cheers
Lifts our faith along hope gears
Reaching-out with smile’s delight
Shining radiance of God’s light…
Grateful for our freedom-reign
Blissful with triumphant gain!

Thankful in so many ways
Joyful midst prayerful days
Good health reflects wellness glow
Bracing hard work’s fruitful show
The Lord supplies every need
Always blessing us indeed
Now, we contribute our share
Touching others’ lives with care…
Thankful* in so many ways
Joyful midst prayerful days.

*Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Sonnett 177

I don't want to be a green card lover
I don't care what people say
Because my love for you is forever green
And I think about you night and day
True love is not defined by limitation
True love is not a slave to time
Whether in riches or in poverty
I know I can love you without a dime
My heart has become a compass
And its hands keeps tilting to the direction of your heart
I knew you were the one for me right
From the start
I don't want to be a green card lover
And to do so will be insincere
But the pains of not seeing you again
Is too hard for my heart to bear
I don't want to be a green card lover
I care little about the lust of men
I would rather be down to earth with you
Rather than to pretend
So you married another man
And I chose a wife which is not by my own design
But the desires of the Lord supersedes the wishes of man
And his instructions are divine
I don't want to be a green card lover
To love a woman just because of the benefit of her country
I will rather look up to Jehovah, Lord
Because with God I can never go hungry
So I wish you happiness and wealth
And of course good health
And pray that we see again
But deep in my heart I pray that we never part
Because you love is driving me insane

Premium Member I Wonder Why

Have you ever watched a loved one die
Only to look at the sky and wonder why
We're put on this world to live and thrive
And then die when we can no longer survive

It's a bittersweet moment to even open our eyes
Just to see their eyes closed and hear the cries
The cries that fuel nightmares and fear
Of the Grim Reaper's scythe taking what we hold dear

It's laughter and love that are our greatest wealth
As we dream of living long lives in good health
It's this world that's twisted and tormented and anguished
Because life is finite and death cannot be vanquished

And the pain of loss is felt every single day
In different ways, perhaps, but it never goes away
We watch the flowers bloom beneath the kiss of a Spring sun
With no place to go and nowhere to run

Born against our will we know the end will come
But we define worth by what we become
And the more people I lose the more I ask why
I had to look in their eyes knowing they'd die

Years and years of guilt crush me beneath the weight
And the tears brimming in my eyes mean I can't see straight
Days and days of loneliness turned a warm heart cold
As the grays become numerous it's clear I'm getting old

Even a gentle breeze is enough to make me freeze
I scream and shout and fall to my knees
Pleading with God to take away the pain
And the stain of sins that cut to the vein

I'm crippled by what could and should have been
And haunted by dreams of doing it all again
But worse is knowing I still have loved ones to lose
And no amount of booze can soothe the bruise

It's a curse to open my eyes knowing they will not
Because no matter how many times I'm taught
To move on I constantly look over my shoulder
At the burden I carry turning from a rock to a boulder

We're not put on this world to live and thrive
Because the name of the game is to simply survive
So the time will come to watch a loved one die
In stoic silence I'll watch and I'll wonder why
