When we first got together
we where dying to evade the
vicious cycle of mistakes that
both of us had made.
but we culddn't figure it out so
we fall out of a lovers embrace.
Don't pull me up
i might just break your hands
sometimes we need to fall back down
for us to understand
Don't pull me up
i might just break your hands
Sometimes we need to fall back down
for us to understand
Im lying here in shadows
hiding from all my mistakes
yet they always seem to find me and
it seems like i can never catch a break
memories that haunt us they're
replaying all of our fates giving
me an uneasyness that i can't
seem to shake!
don't pull me up
i might just break your hands
sometimes we need to fall back down
for us to understand.
don't pull me up
i might just break your hands
sometimes we need to fall back down
for us to understand
i know you've given me all
the sympathy that you think that i'm
allowed. don't you know that it's killing me
yes your killing me
but i cannot let you down
i'm gonna get up
even if it's on my own
i think i've had enough
i'm no longer yours too drown.
let are hands part now i must
go away!
Don't pull me up
i might just break your hands
sometimes we need to fall back down
for us to understand
don't pull me up
don't pull me up
i need to understand!

Those Last Few Moments ~ L. Milton Hankins
In those last few moments of this journey
When my life passes before my eyes,
I see a childhood mixed with misery and joy
Overall, I think I was a mostly happy boy.
But I will also see a lad full of determination
To be more successful than anyone ever thought
And so, many victories in my life will flash past
They are the most important things that last.
I will see them, the ones I have dearly loved
Experiencing places, things we shared in kind,
Memories were made that will never go away
Because I am leaving the best of them behind.
Most of all, I look forward to seeing her face
Who shared most of my best times on earth,
I think I shall see her waiting there for me
As I make the journey into that fond eternity.

2017 How Much I despise You
Following 2016 the second worst year ever
Will 2018 be any better?
And what we have suffered
The darkness settles on the land
Like a curse on the land
As our mad demented senile dotard king wannabe
Struts about the worlds stage
Ushering Americas inevitable decline
As America’s foes and friends wonder
Has America gone mad
Turing over ultimate power to this man
A con man narcistic criminal
Self-proclaimed smartest man in the room
A clueless reality TV hustler
Whose sell by date has expired
As he tries to make America great again
For white Christian men
The rest of the country struggles
To cope with the ever-declining standard of living
The 1 percent loved the stock market
Love the dismantling of the regulatory state
The corporate tax cuts
and the coming plunder of the land
Can Disney Yellowstone be the future?
While the rest of the world
Embraces the energy of the future
And this great denier of the truth
Wants to boldly take America back
To the 19th century era of oil, and coal
Yet perhaps it does not matter in the end
If we have one another
The darkness will come
But it will go away someday soon
The great American nightmare will be over
This is what I pray for 2018
The end of the darkness
that consumes our land
You don’t have to ever question my deep passionate kiss
I’m always here for you you’ll never have to ponder or miss
Our life journey will flow on until the end
Your heart will never be broken or ever have to mend
I love you more than life itself I cannot hold these emotions at bay
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Take me for my word believe in what I say
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Don’t ever think I don’t love you or that I will ever go away
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
You’ll never have to look for me far back over your shoulder
I always give you my warmth and you’ll never have to be colder
Through the rest of our life good and bad or thick and thin
Right by your side until it’s over bad loss or triumphant win
I love you more than life itself I cannot hold these emotions at bay
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Take me for my word believe in what I say
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Don’t ever think I don’t love you or that I will ever go away
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Don’t ever doubt dedication to you or even raise a tear
You’re the one I choose for eternity that’s the one thing that is clear
For richer or for poorer you will always have my heart
I’ll care for you my love until death does make us part
I love you more than life itself I cannot hold these emotions at bay
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Take me for my word believe in what I say
I will be with you right now and forever and a day
Don’t ever think I don’t love you or that I will ever go away
I will be with you right now and forever and a day

No, not there! fly! fly away like the swift-winged bird;
When the hungry-eyed passion calls; follow her not!
Into those wild casements of her raped love;
Or to her irritant, militant temples of murder;
Go not by her purple-eyed lust;
No, be not in her fanatics lost;
Go away from her indolent bed of weird dream;
Roll not in those occident waves,
Either by the thick wood
Or the rushing tide;
Beware of the furtive eyes
Of lean young passion.
2
Nor there! no, go not by the dreamy paths of suicide;
You shall in some solitary forlorn cells be! o follow not!
Into these wild caves of young paroxysm’s rove;
Old revulsion, or excess-eyed prowess; be tender!
Let not your soul in thought be so rapt,
That even mild secrets be wrung by craft;
Go by the streets with modest and bonny dreams:
Roll not in hemlock-winged swift winds,
Dwell far from weird mimosa-land,
And from the livid mood;
Be wary of the juggled words
Of cunning old passion.
Knee high to a grasshopper
That was yesterday
I try to slow or stop her
But she refuses to stay
My baby she'll be
Until I am no more
She'll hold my memory
As I knock on Heaven's door
I often forget to remember
My task is planting a seed
The end of my fire, she is my ember
I'm hesitant due to greed
I want her to stay tiny
Legs around my hip
Adoration blinds me
I've become a sinking ship
Fighting the resistance
The cha cha is our dance
Moonwalking for instance
Rather than taking chance
She starves for sunshine
And plentiful water supply
My seed is to become a vine
Quickly spreading, crawling high
I die a little every day
As she needs me less and less
She's finding her own way
It hurts, I must confess
But heavy enough, my love
To suck in my bottom lip
She'll fall from my glove
So will begin her trip
I promise not to pry
Or enable her from seeing
With every ounce of strength, I'll try
To keep her heart believing
I'll tell her the good word
Assure her of her voice
Praying that she heard
When it's time to make her choice
A guardian angel, behind the side lines
Freedom, but not neglect
Mother bear won't intertwine
But see that the world gives her respect
Wherever I am
I won't be too far
If she's in a jam
I'll be hanging on a star
In mid July
I'll be the sun rays on her face
I'll give her wings, to fly
Teach her class and grace
In shadows I will live
And for her, I will pray
My last breath, I will give
I'll never, ever go away
If I never get, the chance to taste your lips
While we share in this life
Or get to see you wear my shirt
As you lay down by my side
Then you can bet that I'll go to my grave
Wondering what could have been
I'd rather drown in cool water of regret
Than to live this life again
I'd rather drown in your perfume
Or by a fire, that's been set against my will
Then to spend a day not saying
You know I want you still
I hope I never go away
Without telling you goodbye
With my last breath, I would confess
That you've always been my light
She claims that I'm her light
But we both know, in reality she's mine
When darkness comes callin'
I know right where I can find
My little glimpse of Heaven
The one that lifts me way up high
I know these words will never be enough
To help me describe
Just how much I miss you
With each passing day that we don't talk
How much I'd love to hold your hand
And share my deepest thoughts
Life has never been the same
Since the day that I met you
My light in life, the one who might
Make my dreams come true
If I ever get to taste your lips
While we share in this life
I'll let you know how it been you
Who's always been the light
Those we love don't go away;
They stay beside us every day.
They’re with us in the morning light,
And sit with us in the twilight.
Sometimes they come to our room;
It’s believed they ward off approaching gloom.
We can feel their presence near,
And wonder at its mystique, without fear.
Those we love can be our inspiration,
The foundation of our creation.
We know that one day they’ll be gone,
And we’ll see life through the eyes of another dawn.
We write odes to preserve cherished memories;
Bit by bit, they become stories.
We can find those we love in the meadow of the mind,
Enshrined by the solitary wind.
July 23, 2025.
Dear Diary, the crazies were out at work today,
I smiled a fake smile, wishing they'd go away.
They complain about prices and they whine just like fools.
I'm just a cashier, I don't make the rules.
They tell me they think our prices too high.
Sure I can control that, ya, when pigs fly.
They tell me about all their aches and their pains
And could I please hurry up, as they bang with their canes.
They ask the price of every item I scan
Hoping there's a mistake, it's part of their plan
To prove that the stores are robbing them blind.
They scrutinize the receipt, just hoping to find
Any excuse at all to just throw a fit.
My tongue's always sore from where it's been bit.
When the full moon is nigh it gets even worse,
The strange ones get stranger, like under a curse.
Now don't get the wrong idea of just what I meant.
Dear Diary, it's only to you that I vent.
Yes Dear Diary the place is really a zoo,
But I love my job......so what can you do?
Emotions are still high
But I do think of you still,
You've been in the sky
For several months now.
Since then, a lot has changed in our lives,
But you are still here with me.
Providing me with direction through
This game is my very own personal hope.
I treasure all of my memories of you,
They will never go away.
You are there with me, even though
I cannot get hold of you.
I constantly shed a torrent of tears
Whenever I go to bed .
However, I am certain that you
Will appear in my dreams and
Shield me from my fears.
Because today is just another
Day, like all the others.
You'll in any case be
Here with me tomorrow.
You were the best NYAWINO
Forever engraved in my heart.
