What is this world really about?
I can listen to the President and still not understand a word out of his mouth,
Is he for the American people or is he only in office to institute wars,
He captured Saddam so I guess for his father he has settled all the scores.
But look at our nation right now; we’re still suffering from poverty,
Why not show our kids in the ghettos something else wonderful to see,
Let’s do away with the crimes and take the guns off the streets,
This would be my main topic for when the President and I come to meet!
“Dear Sir, how are you doing my name is Curtis and I’m a tax paying citizen,”
It seems like you’re glorifying your capture of Saddam but this war we didn’t win,
We have soldiers in Iraq dying for absolutely no reason,
And if they abandon your Father’s war you’ll hold them for treason!
Saddam was said to possess weapons of mass destruction,
I think an impeachment is call for before you lead us into corruption,
In 2005 I think Florida’s voting poles shouldn’t be mention,
And by the end of 2005 voting, George Bush Jr. should be awaiting his pension!
I have spoken about one of the problems in our society so I should assail another,
This cry for awareness goes out to my fellow black brothers,
We are caught up in Babylon’s system with all our material items,
Sean John puts out hundred dollars sweat suits and we’ll rush out to buy them.
Big Tymers wear these icy chains and we label them as stars,
While young black men sees this as truly living while locked up behind bars,
We have been brainwash and told that this was the way to be living,
I don’t believe in those views because my state of mind is to be giving.
I was born into this world with a little weak mind,
It was easily corrupted that it directed me to a short period of crime,
But a wise man came into my life and showed me the right way,
He’s in Heaven now but I still bout my head to him every night when I pray!
In time of dismay I know he’ll always be by my side,
And I thank you again Tennyson for teaching me to keep my pride,
At the beginning of this poem I asked, “What is this world really about?”
So everyone take a look at yourselves and tell me who’s the real sell out?
“Even in a world of weeds a Rose can still be form”

Finger-tip power.
Galloping into a world of finger tip power were we no longer admire the beauty of flower,
We care more to acquire the excessive power— that same power that effaced those towers.
People falling too their deaths, others trapped and glowing red.
Hearing voices from within the furnace, a novel affording, my tears of disturbance, surface.
Never before in our progression, could the universe witness such tragedy, with such projection.
Let me ask you, who was to blame? Terrorists? Our government? …Their both the same.
Alas, we shall never know, case-close, frozen, in internet snow,
an avalanche of opposing views leaves very little to the truth.
This brings us to the point- information, rendered, void.
Just look at wikipedia if you want some proof of how accuracy has gone aloof.
It may seem human-kind is further afield, but our connection to nature, we no longer yield.
So how strong can one’s mind be? If the glare of our iPhone is all we see.
How can one really know if what he’s taught is to stop not go.
There breeds within a terminal illness, thats claiming the souls of all our realness.
George Bush can barely string a line yet we take his authority without a dash of lime.
As if we can trust a man of such stature, a puppet to the powers that inflict our fracture.
Allow me, to invite you all, open your minds to an empire, ready to fall.
How much more can we take before our laboured legs begin to break.
In a world of finger-tip power, we no longer care for the flower. We default to hide and cower because we are diddled and fleeced by that mythical power.
Was not every one a child?
Joy to their mother and father
And growing up as a kid
With wonder and laughter
Then they go to school
Playing games having fun
And become a voice for others
When they don’t have one
Then some give hope to the people
Giving speeches from their tower
Then commits inhumane atrocities
When they get the taste of power
Today the worlds are full of hate
An evil that has no end
While many starves to death
For war money are spend
Men like Adolph Hitler, Robert Mugabe
George bush Jr, tony Blair, ayatollah Khomeini
Kim jong ll, idi amin, Benjamin Netanyahu
Just to name a few criminals of humanity
Pol pot murders millions in Cambodia
And the world close their eyes
The unspeakable crimes in Rwanda
Where over 500.000 people dies
I guess if the country had oil
They would have been alive today
But if you are poor nation
The United Nations looks the other way
Some kill in the name of religion
Some kills to steal your land
Some are kill by drones for just
Attending a wedding function
Hundreds of innocent are killed
By drones that they can’t see
But they are just collateral damage
But not those at Benghazi
North Korea says we have
weapons of destruction's right here
But they went to search in Iraq
Kill millions but find it nowhere
The evils of war will continue
Many more bad days still to past
More war criminals to be born
And be children playing on the grass
Many choose to cover their eyes
If it doesn't affect them, they don’t care
So while sit here writing this poem
I can’t help it but shed a tear
The left produces people, who sometimes give themselves away by quotes
Its amazing how many fall for this, and still give them their votes.
Bill Ayers said to kill all the rich and to bring the revolution home, kill your parents too
Amiri Baraka wanted poems to be daggers in the belly of the owner-Jew
James Carville said if you drag money through a trailer park, there's no telling what you'd find
Hillary Clinton despised the deplorables, her attitude wasn't kind
Chelsea Clinton called her Secret Service agents "personal trained pigs", a phrase that was terse.
They objected, then she said her parents also called them that, which made things worse.
But at least Chelsea has honesty and explains
Novak described Hatred of George Bush unprecedented in a half century of campaigns
Judi Bari said that to save the ecology, we must destroy our free market, others agree
Jimmy Carter trusted the leader of North Korea, for his stop-nuke treaty
Lyndon Johnson said he would have black people voting Democratic for the next 200 years by giving them money
Doesn't quite show respect, the hypocrisy is quite funny.
RFK junior said that disbelief in Global Warming should be treated as treason,
If I were Trump, I'd stay away from him, just for that reason.
George Soros said that the main obstacle to a just World was the USA
Michael Swift, a gay activist, said "we will seduce your sons" and make them gay.
All this is depressing, from what rock do these types emerge?
Perhaps we should add to poetrysoup a U.S. funeral dirge.
In the late 2018 to early 2019
Epic perhaps, there was a missed opportunity?
From a challenge contest to pen another poem
But this is stuff that men say in an asylum
At the time my ideas were a jumble of mess
Could this be part of a hero's quest?
The lame duck state governor was speaking on campus
An acquaintance shared a seat reserved for our class
Didn’t want to attract attention
What my mind wished to mention
And the media’s condescension
You will see me in the dictionary, academically
“Glean, an unclean leper between Samaria and Galilee"
So I put my head down, smiled with a frown, walked away,
On top of that, hail fell from clouds dark and gray
But what I failed to say that day
"Hello world. My name is J"
"One moment of your time"
(Got to think of a rhyme)
"Sixty seconds is all I need"
If he agreed
The icebreaker joke
I would have spoke
"What does Pink Floyd and George Bush both share in common?
I cannot breathe! A Derek Zoolander quote about a future problem"
(Pff. Today’s accusation)
(The confusion?) " Crickets" (ovation)
(Writing has its limitation)
"But when you get it...it’s lightning on mural’s foundation"
"My actual question is, if a plague struck the morrow,
Linked to a foul chi fellow"
"With a made-up place—land of Gohan
From some lab institution in Wuhan"
"And you had to wear an M-95 mask
With your power and task"
"Would you close the state for weeks, months, or years?
Thank you for your time (cheers)"
“If u truly are here, then maybe I’ll regret this song”
Mother received a gift horse
She just never looked it in the eyes
Nine months later
she had more than she could lift of course
If going through labor was written in a book
Then some soul lies
Straight from her vaginal insides
I splattered my head
With the grisles in my infant arms
I gripped my throat
Assumed to visualize myself after dead
That day Diane realized
God doesn’t give a god damn
I’m stripping my soul of it’s beliefs
To provide one final volume
of what I have least to achieve
Laugh like I just want some attention
So unreliable
am I the only person you forgot to mention?
I expect nothing less than your undeniable attention
Dorm room fantasies,
Few episodes of *********** relaxes my *****
Storms doomed Atlantis see!
A new leprosy, father have you seen us
As you can see
God just doesn’t give a god damn
Vote or die, whom ever you spoke with is a lie
John Kerry, George Bush, it’s all in good hopes
I guess the worlds going to end anyways
So you can do what you want
For the most of many days
Now it’s me swinging on you
Loyalty is adored
But is only affordable through truth
Cry like a baby
Before I’d ever lay to make like a lady
This is not a war call
Just a scene where stars fall
someone give me a hug, maybe a tug
Before I purposely fall off this cliff
And become a hysterical myth
Maybe I already am
Form:
Son of a gun
Wake up this morning
Just laying there in bed
The sun came thru the window
Pulls the sheet over my head
Don’t have a job again
The factory close the doors
We all lose our wages since
George bush start those stupid wars
Now he is in Texas
A triple billionaire
And my bills are piling up
But what the hell does he care
Ran out of coffee, this morning
Just my dumb luck
Maybe will go to McDonalds
And get a coffee for a buck
Then my girl friend calls me
And my stress just went away
When ever I hear her voice
It always bring sunshine to my day
And I wonder why she never
Take her love and run
Then I said to my self
You’re one lucky son of a gun
Call the record company
Ask if they got my demo
The girl on the phone says, no
No kindness in her voice just plain, no
I think she was very rude
Maybe she’s having a bad day
Some times you’re in a good mood
And someone just takes away
So I went in to Bips deli
Going to play some quick draw
Went in with a twenty
And was broke when I walk out the door
Use the .ATM in ShopRite
Got some ice cream French vanilla
Going to watch the twilight movie
I like to see that girl Bella
Then my girl friend
Surprise me and came over
Now we are having ice cream
And watching twilight under the cover
And I wonder why she never
Take her love and run
Then I said to my self
You’re one lucky son of a gun
Love Is Strange
I wish I could be the ocean: free, vast, and open, without mundane human responsibility.
Can you get me a coffee with a spoonful of magic?
The one that tastes like malt liquor, smells like honey, feels like velvet, looks like danger, and sounds like explosions caused by planes.
They say terrorists are real, but stories are made up everyday, the stories that look like America and taste like lies.
George Bush, The White House.
I don’t want to be the ocean, it’s so cold, open, and vast. Eternal,
that is all it is. Eternal.
Bae hates this land.
If we elect our next president, he, she, they will change our world for the better.
Ne me quitte pas
The red cow of Value knows trigonometry.
I went to India last summer and met Buddha, talked to Jesus, too, and he told me society was a trick.
Phil is a smart, kind, and compassionate person; he is a good friend.
This poem is published all over the world, it’s exposed the biggest lie from the rulers of the world.
I met thrilling in Italy.
It is possible for a cow to jump over the moon if the cow is strapped to rockets.
No chingues!
Every night my Vinyl player begs for me to sleep with her. She starts singing to me and before I know it, she has seduced me. Still,
Red cows bleed virtue over humans and speak trigonometry in those sleepless nights.
Goodnight.
Why didn't we listen
to Dr.King
when he said he had a dream
then maybe there wouldn't
of been a war,
Soilder's haunted by little kids
screams
Then maybe there wouldn't be any
murder's,killer's.or drug dealers
Then maybe I wouldn't of seen news castors
or breaking news across the T.V. screen
saying little kids were killed by their parents
Why?
Do we live this way
and do the things that we do
why do my brother's feel as though
they have to sell an illegal drug to get by
Why?
Did Kanye West say George Bush
don't like black people
Is it true,
If so what do we do
Do we turn around and leave,
and forget that it ever happened
Or attack if so who do we attack
the Asians,Hispanics even the blacks
Why?
Is the government so mean
why are they taking the little money
from us that we need
Why am I even writing
this poem,
is it because of Bordum
Or I really want to know the answers
If so, can you answer them
If not
WHY?
