Jonah believed that justice required punishment, not mercy
Obedience is what God desires from us, not our opinions
Never weep or whine over spilled milk; just wipe it up
And remember that every secret will be brought into the light
Heaven is a place for forgiven people, not perfect people
'
So let us all rejoice in God's mercy, not our goodness.
Never give up on people who have gone astray
I and you are candidates for God's mercy
No one who still breathes is too far gone
Everyone is capable of making a change
Valuable lessons from Scripture are priceless
Even animals are recipients of God's mercy
Happily and Fortunately, God is rich in mercy

Ode,
in the casket you rest, I pray you're blessed;
Gone on to the Father;
to a place of complete bliss;
Father, I hope that you're there;
I pray that this wayward forgiven sinner;
Stays in your embraced arms;
This Father I know you want all of us to cause;
Now that I'm saying goodbye to my love;
This is a farewell to my beauty, my love;
And it's my duty to grieve for my love;
Greatly missed, I must insist;
To you my love goodbye;
You're now on the Lord's side;
To God sweet by and by;
To you my love goodbye;
You lived a long physical life;
A mother, sister, a wonderful wife;
Now it's time to spend eternity;
To you my love goodbye,
but to Jesus Christ and God hello child;
On this physical plain
To you my love goodbye;

Of time Past-
I cannot discard you (memory)
no matter how far I push you away
you come c r e e p i n g like a wild vine
deep in the corridors of my mind you grow . . .
I wish you would depart
but NO- I am viewing you in technicolor
like a movie well played . . .
It is the death of my mother-
her time has run out
"call your family" said the doctor
and I did- I called each one
one who did not come- my nephew
my sister said- "he is afraid of death"
(who isn't) . . .
he was a grown man not a child
mother died -
a sweet beloved bird f l u t t e r e d away
quietly- just as she had lived her short life
(I have held my thoughts to me . . .)
When he was a small baby
my mother purchased for HIM
all his diapers, formula, food, toys and clothes
she paid for the rent of an apartment
she was the prime babysitter for years and years
but HE could not come on the day of her D E A T H
a grown man could not pay his respect
I have never forgotten- never forgiven
(maybe I should . . . )
and I can only talk about it in my journal
n e v e r to my family-
so I keep it inside of me to come creeping
to make me angry again and again and again
Outside birds are chirping and a gentle breeze blows
perhaps a walk will make this memory
depart or at least f a d e - (why am I weeping ?)

A life so full of darkness,
As I tried to find my way.
I longed to feel peace,
So much I strayed away.
Searching for the truth,
I felt it deep inside.
No longer would I question,
The love I could not hide.
Jesus was the answer,
To a life of sin and shame.
What a honour to be chosen,
He called me out by name.
He's forgiven all my sins,
I'm no longer broken within.
He's watched me through my struggles,
He's taken away my troubles.
My past has been forgotten,
A new creation made.
I'll walk this new life path,
He has paved the way.
Jesus was the answer,
To all my fears and worry.
Jesus was the answer,
To the start of my new story.
I was broken I was a shadow
No one will ever make me feel that low
That’s all now internalised
Damaged and impersonalised
My mind takes me back to childhood
Even deep into adulthood
Silence is my friend
A comfort I have to defend
Trust isn’t automatically given
Just because they died doesn’t mean forgiven
I’m happy on my own
I don’t really feel alone
I choose the people in my life
Avoiding disagreement and strife
Hiding and isolating
I don’t find it violating
Covid lockdown was like a dream
Isolation not too extreme
People of authority make me fearful
They have a habit of giving an earful
One body movement makes me freeze
Like I’m a child that has displeased
So now my present
Maybe unpleasant
May not conform to society
Fills me with anxiety
But I am the only one who can break myself
My screwed thought process can damage oneself
My manic demeanour
Maybe scars from an abuser
But he will never break me again
I think about his passing now and then
There is a whole other story about that
For now however I’m only in combat
With myself

Why do we put emphasis on those things we cannot obtain?
When we need to be intentional towards that which we can attain
Yet there's nothing wrong with striving towards certain goals
Just remember to keep your integrity and your self control
And whatever you do whether it be in word or act
Do it in Jesus's name and thank Him for having your back
Now is the time to stop being reluctant to God's plans
He created you and you need to understand
Yes you have free choice and free will
Just make sure your agenda is God filled
Now clothed in patience, kindness, love and humility
Forgiving unto others as God has forgiven thee
Now at peace with God and your community
One body in Christ with a tranquil unity
Now ready and able to learn, lead and live
To teach, to preach and reach out with all you have to give
Now to sing songs of praise in times of distress
To magnify the spirit so that the angels are impressed
To be intentional for the glory of God
Now witnessing from the depths of your heart
Now operating with a godly intentionality
Purposeful and driven with a spiritual mentality
No longer adrift now focused and assured
Building better relationships and aiming for more
Now ready to fulfill the ministry that God has placed in you
Totally intentional in everything you now do
Comprehend you need to give God your all
And trust He will equip you when you're called
Now to be intentional for the glory of God
Precise and prepared now ready to start

On the day He died, I felt such shame, quiet with remorse—too broken to name. Why did I follow the crowd of worldly men, mocking, scorning, spitting on Him?
I was the reason He suffered that pain, I searched for comfort, but guilt would remain. I couldn’t eat, nor close my eyes to sleep, knowing He was gone—my sorrow ran deep.
When I had no one, He cared for me, But I was too hardened, too blind to see. When others ridiculed, He never took part, every kind act came straight from His heart.
He loved both the rich and the poor, He restored the broken, healed the sore. How could I have been so prideful, so blind? So cruel in spirit, so careless, unkind?
Sadness and guilt clung tight to my soul, Wishing I’d taken that cup, paid that toll. Why did I point and shout, “Crucify!” Condemning the Lamb—the Most High—to die?
Oh, my Judas heart, what have I done? I betrayed the Christ, God’s only Son. Ashamed of what I witnessed that day, I wept and wilted—my heart gave way.
Through darkened hours, the sorrow grew, until I knew what I must do. No longer did I wish to live, My broken life, I longed to give.
Head bowed low, soul torn apart— I knew what I did in my sinful heart! Sighing, I lifted up my tear-streaked face- a luminous figure stood in that place.
Could it be Him? A dream, a sign? I longed to talk with him and cry! I knelt with falling tears, too ashamed to speak, But He looked with mercy—I felt my knees go weak.
He showed me His hands—nail-pierced, divine. How He still loved me, I couldn’t define. I couldn’t face what I had done... But He held me close—I was forgiven by the Son.
He said He loved me, and all men still. That He obeyed His Father’s will; That all might live—redeemed, restored— Through mercy poured and grace outpoured.
Not sentenced to Hell but, forgiven. To be with Jesus, always and forever in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
When the enemy tries to destroy
All the joy that lives inside…
When he tells you that you’re not worth
The love that God pours over your heart…
When he reaches beyond your dreams
To tell you that you are doomed to grieve….
Remember, the angels of heaven see.
God, who is with you, restores
Offering you hope that can’t be ignored,
Faith that helps you to know…
Whatever comes, even the worst imaginable,
Can be overcome when you look to Him,
The One who changes the world….
One heart at a time – one soul, one spirit, one life
Changed by the love that abides
Inside those who see Jesus as the light,
Know Jesus can make the wrongs right,
Recognize the love that He pours out in each life.
One heart at a time – He promises to convert,
Leave the hopeless with a hope that is eternal,
Leave the darkness with a light that is supernal,
Leave the fearful with a courage that inspires,
Leave the heartless with a love that is full of wonder,
A love that abides inside those who know Him,
The One who saves the souls who believe,
Not just that He lived, but that He died and rose again
And that He changes hearts so they can be…
Forgiven and saved by the love that abides throughout eternity,
The love that describes Jesus as the Prince of Peace.
