to have dodged a bullet

To have dodged a bullet is heard by me as a clear soft symphony, it reminds me that all is a dramatized sigh of relief whether stressed, sad, annoyed, mad or worried, it all ends the same with the word that is second most heard than your name; “it is all going to be okay” whether in your head or said. To have dodged a bullet is the best kind of relief, either thought of or heard. Being told you have dodged a bullet is like someone whole willingly taking out the knife stabbed in your back you thought you could never remove until sane. To be told you have dodged a bullet is a moment of silence out of the few you rarely experience, the soft ringing in your ear, confused thoughts on how you got here, it is like the destination you so desired. To the hopeless butterflies flying away from my stomach, my terrible luck and the universe I relied too much on for comfort, I apologize. Still experiencing the comfort of the silence, life is still not over yet. With life being so unfortunate of course there's more stories to the questions I push into the back of my mind due to fear . To be loved is to be seen, and how am I capable of experiencing love if what they try to seek frightens me. Love is a beautiful thing, it's something that truly excites me. But so is my health and my love for individuality. Obsession turns into disgust, and dishonesty gives it life, whether playing into it or saying it. To the lies that are now dead. To the boy dressed nice holding the gun of a masked persona, I couldn't see the shades of heartbreak on his coat. Who would pay attention when being held at gunpoint? He missed his shot to a 3rd degree, to have dodged a bullet has given me a clear view, breathing in a fresh start away from the boy I thought I knew. “To have dodged a bullet” I can say it a million times and not think about that one horrible time. To have dodged a bullet is within itself one of the most beautiful lines i've been told that has healed my mental heath. Whether it was a lie to save my sanity, I will never forget the person who said it to me.

Side note: this poem, you could say, healed me while writing it, this was my closure. This is what kept me going. The reason as to why I wrote this happened in real time. I will never forget the girl who said this to me in a time of need. We weren't all that close either. Thank you.

As I rest upon my heels,
into my head, my thoughts do spill
there to sit alone and wait
is much too long to contemplate.

The experience is all brand new,
the man, rope, and paddle too
It excites but also scares
the fluctuation of my cares.

I wait for the gentle breeze,
that swiftly blows between my knees
when I am placed into his lap
and the whip against my flesh goes tap.

So much emotion I have inside,
just add, subtract and then divide
I have no shame or guilt to plea
my Master is so good to me.

I inhale the intoxication,
as we reach our destination
a journey between two souls
who exactly knows where this could go.

Long walks in pleasant sun,
The ocean scent of blazing blue.
In the Carolinas we have our fun.
Our wedding vows become brand new.

Summer breeze waff of silky hair,
The salty seas and coconut tan.
A slow rowing boat lifts all our cares.
We’re building a castle on the sand.

The waters tickle our ankles and knees,
A warmth and coolness on bare skin.
Undulating up and down with ease,
the waves spur our love to win.

Summer breeze waff of silky hair,
The salty seas and coconut tan.
A slow rowing boat lifts all our cares.
We’re building a castle on the sand.

A brightness illuminates by candlelight.
Our youthful exuberance excites the stars.
The black breezy sky in full moonlight
heals all toils, troubles and wanderlust scars.

Summer breeze waff of silky hair,
The salty seas and coconut tan.
A slow rowing boat lifts all our cares.
We’re building a castle on the sand.

Premium Member I Think of You

I think of you and I smile
A gentle thought in my mind
Whispers of a caress soothing
Causing me to feel reassurance

I think of you and I feel alive
As if something special has arrived
To replace the feelings of hurt
That once destroyed my inner light

I think of you and I’m excited
Renewed by the promise of joy
That is reflected in the friendship
Of a feeling that replaces heartbreak

I think of you and I’m aware that
Everything I worried about in the past
Is gone to another place now, erased
By the feel of your compassionate embrace

I think of you and I’m filled with sincerity
Feelings that lighten my life and my mind
Grace me with intimate sighs of acceptance
That ensure me of future promises of love

I think of you and I’m more alive than before
Filled with a passion that only you can restore
Encouraging me to reach for the dreams I yearn for
And to be grateful for all the inspiration I found in you

I think of you and I’m living beyond my greatest dreams
Lighting up my heart with great joy and other things
Like grace, hope and faith – love that lives to free me
Of insincerity and deception that are my greatest failures

I think of you and I let passion pursue my heart
With a sense of security that enables my thoughts
To be certain I know about love without conditions
Love that excites, invites and fulfills all my questions

Do you remember the first heartbeat,
can you feel the fire echo
upon the wings of your violet velvet intellect
as zero zimmers into the sums of your senses,
a spectrum of semi precious salts
hums to the success of your dramatics
while Destiny demands your rarest diamond,
Time running from Numbers hunting the Future
looks to you for leadership,
Age hesitates in the mirror for your smile,
God becoming intimate in a ubiquitous moment
kisses your hyper mind
a flame looking to warm the world
as love suffering
excites ultra awareness,
when will God realize
that you're not a child chained to eternity
that you're ready for the war whips,
You summon sophistication
on the alter of Youth
by burning primrose promises
atop lavender coals,
Libido listens to the locks of loneliness loosen
your nipples tighten for the truth of temptation
ego moans in flames on a winter wasteland
this is the place where hopes land,
the thick fact of Fate
throbbing against your hot cheek
tells you that self pity will be punished,
a wild snowfall feathers your face,
eyelashes tickled by the purring of a tiger -

The Horror of You

Out there, I feel you watch me.
Stalking me from the darkest of shadows.
Excites my heart to the point of joy.
Knowing that you're not far behind.

Looking over my shoulder every day.
That chill you sending down my spine.
Frightens me down to the core.
Yet, You are hoping to get a hand on me.

 Following me into the night,
wanting a taste of me,
but the thought of never getting what you want.
Scares you to the point of no return.

 That horror rattles you.
where you feel the need to haunt me.
licking at the wounds you wish to inflict upon me.
The thought of you hurting me brings you pleasure.

The horror you feel of me gone.
Makes you mad at the world,
and you would do anything possible,
just to force me to submit at your feet.

Tad and Them

She saw it to be an
                 excessive thought
                 tasting the clams
                  in her crumpets
                  a tad bite sweet
                    and crumbly
                  a spent of lunch
                        or supper
              More accurate than
                        the original
                 Savored with a rich
                      Citrus drink
                   One would think
                   It's accuracy is
                         excellent
                     to dancing or
                       a nightclub
                         a night of
                     extraordinary
                           flavor
                  Soothing suttle
                      bit excites

Premium Member Pen Or Computer

A blank page or a blank word document
Which excites me more?
it is a toss-up.
Both exciting, pristine, pure, waiting.
I pick up a pencil and begin
But then I realize I cannot read my writing
so I fire up the computer.
It has trouble catching up with my typing hands
I laugh, on a tear now.
Until I look down and see the unhappy pen

Remembering how she used to delight me
I give her a love tap
Still she sits staring.
So I put her into the desk drawer
But it seems cold
So I wrap a Kleenex around her
and I apologize.
It is the least I can do.
The computer laughs,
Feeling all smug and powerful.
I despise her arrogance, and yet,

None Of This Would Have Ever Happened

If we had kept our feelings to ourselves
and avoided stranger's eyes doubting us,
none of this would have ever happened;
this secret should have remained sealed.

We wanted to lead a personal life,
stay out of the limelight, feeling free;
we sworn fidelity as husband and wife,
built a house and dreamt by the sea.

We are sure nothing would ever happened,
honoring our vows, making them stronger;
what excites us is being near and together,
growing in trust, joy and love until our end.

Oh, it has come to our attention
that happiness is not worth losing
over dreams without realization:
all it matters is never stop giving.

Very little is gained by showing vanity,
let's pursue this path with dignity;
nothing will ever happen without desire...
if our conviction can't withstand time.
