None Of This Would Have Ever Happened

If we had kept our feelings to ourselves and avoided stranger's eyes doubting us, none of this would have ever happened; this secret should have remained sealed. We wanted to lead a personal life, stay out of the limelight, feeling free; we sworn fidelity as husband and wife, built a house and dreamt by the sea. We are sure nothing would ever happened, honoring our vows, making them stronger; what excites us is being near and together, growing in trust, joy and love until our end. Oh, it has come to our attention that happiness is not worth losing over dreams without realization: all it matters is never stop giving. Very little is gained by showing vanity, let's pursue this path with dignity; nothing will ever happen without desire... if our conviction can't withstand time.
