Violet Rising

Do you remember the first heartbeat,
can you feel the fire echo
upon the wings of your violet velvet intellect
as zero zimmers into the sums of your senses,
a spectrum of semi precious salts
hums to the success of your dramatics
while Destiny demands your rarest diamond,
Time running from Numbers hunting the Future
looks to you for leadership,
Age hesitates in the mirror for your smile,
God becoming intimate in a ubiquitous moment
kisses your hyper mind
a flame looking to warm the world
as love suffering
excites ultra awareness,
when will God realize
that you're not a child chained to eternity
that you're ready for the war whips,
You summon sophistication
on the alter of Youth
by burning primrose promises
atop lavender coals,
Libido listens to the locks of loneliness loosen
your nipples tighten for the truth of temptation
ego moans in flames on a winter wasteland
this is the place where hopes land,
the thick fact of Fate
throbbing against your hot cheek
tells you that self pity will be punished,
a wild snowfall feathers your face,
eyelashes tickled by the purring of a tiger -

Justin, this poem is a revelation--like watching fire speak in a voice made of starlight and skin. “You summon sophistication on the altar of Youth” stopped me cold. And “a flame looking to warm the world”--that’s a line I’ll carry with me. This is more than poetry; it’s a coronation of awakening, of womanhood, of identity tempered by trial and touched by the divine. Thank you for painting strength as something so fierce and luminous. With awe, Alesia

There is abundant truth in temptation, I've always believed that. I believe I wrote a piece not too long ago about that sort of concept. I have been lost in my own world Justin, but certainly haven't forgotten your beautiful words and your irrefutable light. Always, Laura

"Time running from Numbers hunting the Future looks to you for leadership, Age hesitates in the mirror for your smile" those lines are so powerful to me. I can resonate with the urgency here - the search for my own power and own leadership. I believe we all have that power of leadership, if only we were brave enough to step into that role. At times I am fearful as humans often fall into. "when will God realize that you're not a child chained to eternity" love that line as well. . .

Our life, as I think, a sweet painful journey.. a quest for Truth.. Mind and heart, ever seeking the meaning of Life and spiritual fulfillment.. A thirst, unquenchable, that leads to awareness and growth.. "Violet Rising", contentment as harmony of mind and heart reached! So deep and powerful! A stunning work of Mind into Art! My great pleasure reading your thoughts and poetry, Justin.. My deepest regards and blessings.

Truth is an odd thing in the sense that everything in existence is a truth, you, Besma, are a living truth...its vital for us to invest our spirit towards making our truths...why wait for Truth when you can make it. I like the intellectual energy of your viewpoint Poetess...J.A.B.

Oh my!! So many thoughts linger in my mind- while reading this. You have created an exciting scene. Moments touch, there is a invigorating rush. Pleasure in Pain. There is Pain in Pleasure. "the purring of a tiger" I love that line. :) Brandy

You feel the way you see Brandy, tenderly...I'm happy that you can handle the dreamy rush of this metaphysical poetry. Ultimately this poem is about embracing the shock and growth that Disillusionment can offer to us as we persevere to work with the deeper truths of love Poetess...J.A.B.
