Premium Member One In Our Difference

I wonder why some people get offended because you believe differently than they do? I am very happy to give others the latitude to cherish their beliefs and worship (or not) in the manner they see fit, in fact I support it, no matter WHAT it entails, (as long as it doesn't hurt others) ...

But please give ME the same space and consideration, and do not assume to tell me I'm wrong because I feel differently than you do, and try to not look down on or condemn me and others just because you believe that your beliefs are the "correct" or righteous ones ...

It's not our differences that cause all the problems in this world, it's the lack of mutual respect, empathy, and understanding that we give to those around us. Our inability to let others believe the way THEY choose to, is what cultivates hatred, animosity and bias in this world ...

I personally know people who are quite adamant about the fact that they have found the "truth" and the right path, who claim to put forth love and kindness and understanding, yet if your views don't fall in line with theirs, then surely there must be something wrong with you ...

Faith is a very important part of religion, and I completely understand its crucial import and weight, and how it directly relates to worship and spirituality, but NO ONE knows for sure what this whole voyage "life" is about, and no one ever will, until we each pass FROM it ...

So, you may not agree with my beliefs, they may not remotely resemble what yours are, but please make NO mistake, they are just as PRECIOUS to me as yours are to YOU, whether or not half the world feels the same way, or NOBODY does - whether or not they conform to anyone else ...

I tend to believe that until we allow others the latitude and mutual RESPECT to believe whatever they choose to, and even defend that right, differences will only serve to separate us, and cultivate resentment, anger, and hatred, instead of being embraced the way they SHOULD be ...

Love is LOVE, there are NO qualifications ... compassion, empathy and understanding are important parts of what that word encompasses, yet I think we often see love as one dimensional, and reserved for those we feel amorously about, but it also relates to our fellow man ....

OK, my rant is over, and my soap box shall go back into the closet now.

Never Alone

The icy winds subdue my soul with a livid will to live
Warmth against the frost, dwindling in the enshrouding grove
We are scattered on this earth, cold, warmed and in-between
And here I stand amid the shy sun and the bold but fragile icicles
Where it shines not enough to sooth the gasps and blows of bluster
I am aware of our gravity, sinking my feet into the snow
This is how I am never alone
How furious I now groan. . .

How I must be alive to be close to the erosion of mastered solitude
To taste the regions of feelings never felt!
How I crave for your pristine awareness to diminish
So I may bask in the enlightenments all my own
Yes—I am bright in your presence
A flickering flame of ever-more
Secretly lost in the wastelands of never—nevermore!

Never alone,
See my dilemma, how it wrinkles like frosted vines
Clinging to the coldest iron in your hearts!
You feel it—how I hate it that you do!
Impaled, determined prevailing
The detestation of my winds wailing!

Oh, Understood!!!
Understood….
I am Element Unknown,
Passing the entails of the irksome groan
We are scattered, but I am ever among,
The restless writhing brethren of the knowest beknowest known
Still remaining, cold, lost and scathing skin to bone—
Never Alone

Tormented

Peace has gone from my heart like a thief that is lie in waiting ready to emerge from
hiding as result leaving me frightened and confused. I am paralyzed from
uncertainty, and my mind wonders as if I am in shocked from the sudden impacted
from being mugged by the unexpected thief. The peace of my heart is snatched
away without a question, if I should relinquish it or not. My heart lies naked without
the covering of tranquility. I feel so cold and scare not knowing if my present state is
indefinite. I am vulnerable because the secure housing of my heart is gone, and
maybe forever. The foreboding of calamity lies at the entrance, and I am panicky
knowing what the future entails, frighten because it has not yet unfold.

Premium Member The Awakened Warrier

Source material : The Hinduism classical mythology epic, The Mahabharata.

Arjuna, the great worrier of the Mahabharata epic,
stands transfixed at the fringe of Kurukshetra battlefield,
hears the thunder of thousand conch shells
announce the start of the valiant battle.
He lifts his heavy bow, but it slips from his hands.
His brave spirit falters,
for he sees in front his kins and mentors,
lined up to fight against him;
he ponders to win the war he needs to kill them.
Faced with humane predicament
the hero in him feels disheartened,
for the load of bravery is too heavy to bear,
urging him to exit the battlefield.
He asks his conscience in despair,
“what is the meaning of victory
if it entails killing the loved and revered ones.?”

He then hears the godly voice of his charioteer
that echoes the eternal truth :
“the soul is immortal and indestructible,
transcends birth and death.
Perform you duty with equanimity as a worrier,
for true karmic liberation lies in seeing oneself
as an artifact of divine will,
balancing the modes of success and failure.”

Transformed by the guidance of his charioteer,
Arjuna comes out of the emotional dilemma,
regains his mental acumen
that expands his vision beyond victory and defeat,
far away from the conundrum life and death
to perceive selflessly the need
for surrender to the supreme.
His gloomy mind is then illumined
by the gracious glare of dharma.

As he picks up his bow and arrow
for the fiercest of all battles,
he realizes that the toughest battle of life
is fought within the awakened soul.

Cant Buy It

Something to look forward to is the spice of life
keeps you alert with you and your wife
     happy thoughts and feelings too
       altogether will see you through.

Any ill feelings and that will lift
`cos you and your partner and do have a gift
that cannot be bought nor neither sold
`cos that bond is solid as a block gold.

              ******************************************

It`s a nessesity in life for simple things, such as kind words to make a person smile
and make them feel good.I feel a overwhelming aroma if i can put a person in a more
positive frame of mind, this is what my poem entails ....PEACE .

Aphorism hinders ancillary terrible dilemmas,
In the bearing session, I have been picked.
If I've carried out the most striking edemas,
Approaching all them might be kicked.

Living has scored the highest goal of my life.
Drilling entails helping others with adversity.
Tried some of our lives reading how to rife.
How is it annoying to issue the miscellany?

I haven't had to swallow long-term memory.
By proving that hopeless feeling into words.
As vital as this work is, I grasp its own purity.
My path in life changed clearly as I can record.

Each way of life stirs love, trust, and veracity.
Retain that life is too brief to live indifferently.

"She Rides with Lions"

That Queen rides like God
She rides with Lions
like she could harness the Sun
Her many arms throw fierce Durga destruction
as She holds tight to what means most to Her resurrection
hidden and held in the arms behind her
like a Mother all Trouble untroubled
the cub hidden and held for protection

Her many arms throw fierce Durga destruction
like a Mother
losses arrive expensive with high cost in wars
the stolen Worlds in the dreams of Other
come undone
Her many arms throw fierce Durga destruction
as She holds tight to what means most to Her resurrection
until all retribution is delivered and done

Unbroken ephemeral creature

Lion Daemon

Candide Diderot. ‘24

“Durga's legend centres around combating evils and demonic forces that threaten peace, prosperity, and dharma, representing the power of good over evil. Durga is believed to unleash her divine wrath against the wicked for the liberation of the oppressed, and entails destruction to empower creation. Durga is seen as a motherly figure and often depicted as a beautiful woman, riding a lion or tiger, with many arms each carrying a weapon and often defeating demons. She is widely worshipped by the followers of the goddess-centric sect, Shaktism, and has importance in other denominations like Shaivism and Vaishnavism.”

Computer Space

I am fascinated by space science because it is so divine. I am fascinated by space science because everything it entails is sublime. Human operates machine and machine work for human; human input the information but the machine regurgitates it.

Its AI and automation against human invention, e-commerce and job outsourcing in reverse. If you cannot pay me let me go to those who are willing to hire me, but please don’t use me and then you discard me. You lurk behind the screen saying that you have run out of money and you cannot bring me back to fulfill my dreams.

I don’t join games because I don’t know to play them, I don’t play games because am not good at winning them. I don’t play games because I don’t know the rules and sometimes it leaves you confused. I approach everything in life in a pragmatic and realistic manner.

You place the burden on the commuter saying that it is giving the order; computer is not human and someone must operate it to transfer the information to you, oh what silly deprivation. You are trying to elude reality and not living up to your responsibility, the ship will be at the surface on time and you must give me what is mine.

You have built more than a dozen space ship with words dripping from my lips; you have sent missions to the moon with words burning from my finger tips and vinegar is draining in my lungs; with swollen fingers and broken palm words flow from my heart into the computer gut before dawn, and then you slice it up and serve it for breakfast dinner and lunch and disrespect my painful sacrifice, and you call it AI.

I work day and night and because I don’t know how to fight I continue to stretch myself to fulfill a mandate for the moon. You send me into the space to explore the galaxy and look into the black hole to see where gravity is bold and the space around the corner lit up with billions of stars flickering in the night, oh what a wonderful sight.

Will machine eventually take over human lives after decades of painful sacrifice? Will machine takes over our lives and leave us without a dime? Nights upon nights the human brain toil to fill the machine sitting on the throne but sometimes the gripe is so strong it vomits out on the land and my eyeball spread the words all over the human race and squeeze matter into tiny space. It man against woman and one woman working with computer.

Having more than a heart of gold
No matter what even in the dark and cold
Always staying sharp and bold

By the trees and seas
I'm (My mind) at ease
While I breathe

Not afraid to try and fail
Regardless of what this life entails
Still continuing on all kinds of trails

As I step with one foot in front of the next
During the trek
Amid matter and molecules no bigger than a speck

Taking time to reflect
When perplexed
Then I progress
Putting forth my very best
To the furthest extent

So that I may be much more than adept
While I still live in the flesh
And until my death

Beside the pebbles and stones
Near and far away from all of the roads
Across the globe

Premium Member A Greater Chore

The bathroom lacks your spare change scattered,
and my bank account is no longer flattered.
Your socks are no longer sprawled on the floor,
but everyday entails a greater chore.

There's certainly far fewer dishes to scrub,
but there's no companion to enjoy my grub.
I'm no longer someone's personal maid,
but the lack of your traffic makes me afraid.

The covers are tucked on your side of the bed,
but fluffing the comforter is a simple dread.
The satin sheets no longer unfold you,
and this beating breast has no chest to mold to.

A cabinet drawer hangs, and my bouquet is bent.
As I weep, the dripping sink seems to lament.
If you're with the Holiest, and only know bliss,
I wonder if you're oblivious, or you witness this.

If the latter, is your perspective so much greater,
knowing I'm a blink away from the Creator?
By the grace of the Savior, I wait for your return,
when these eerie ashes will leap from your urn.
