Awhile back,
in the Dred Scott decision,
SCOTUS denied rights of citizenship
to people of color
"as a subordinate
and inferior class of beings,
who had been subjugated
by the dominant race..."
So, we need not dig too deeply
to rediscover where straight white male supremacists
and systemic racist allies
might find our strongest
most toxic heritage
language
beliefs
lack of inclusive discernment,
absence of multicultural intelligence
united citizens experience,
values of all people
for all creatures here below.
Anyway,
with this precedent in place,
we might similarly nuance the Citizens United language,
giving corporations the rights of citizenship
without the responsibilities of healthy stewardship,
authority to buy media speech
and heavily invest in purchasing political competitions;
This right more transparently unveiled
as the authority of a superordinate
and superior class
of capital-acquiring beings,
masters of organic Earth's climate degeneration
who have subjugated the unstraight
unwhite
unmale
suffering from non-elite lack of multiculturally appreciated face,
too slow race,
These assumptions
of who is SWM better than whom,
rooted in outworn
and unhistorical
and supremacist
win/lose environmental theories,
blossom as further toxic prejudice
against Earth's primordial health rights
and humane responsibilities
to repair damages,
restore peace of natural/spiritual
left/right
west/east
north/south cultural hemispheres
advocating resonant geopolitical balance.
How would such corporate persons be baptized?
And confirmed
to be raised in ways and means of a loving Creator God
rather than a competitive and jealously greedy Mammon?
now when i look back in history i have come to discover
that true African-american history is basically undercover
most cultures know their history and from whence they came to be
but somehow that is missing when it comes to African-american history
the Proclamation Emancipation and the Dred Scott Case
two important historical incidents that were concerned about race
and when i look at the Constitution i did find
that in 1865 on February 1st was the day that President Lincoln did sign
but in fact the actual date that this law came alive
was December 6th in the year 1865
a covenant fulfilled God sent the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King
an anointed man of God who made civil rights his thing
a covenant fulfilled is when we testify
as eye witnesses of God's work and how African-americans have survived
the evidence is written in the Holy Scriptures
a corroboration of testimonies that gives the full gospel picture
you can't let the stones in life impede you from getting to Christ
and don't allow the stones to cry out as a witness to your life
and don't let the stones hinder you by putting obstacles in your way
just trust in God to move them as you praise Him and pray
a covenant fulfilled in telling our people's story
as we're witnesses to God's goodness, mercy, grace and glory
a covenant fulfilled bringing a brother or a sister to Christ
to let them experience the goodness of God that can change their life
a covenant fulfilled
We Are Not Afraid
Why should we be afraid?
If this were the case,
Then there would be no United States.
The founding fathers were not afraid
To face imprisonment or death;
General Washington led the Continental Army
To defeat British tyranny in America.
And if the Electoral College had not been constituted,
Abraham Lincoln would not have been elected.
And if President Lincoln had been afraid
Of the plantation owners, sympathizers,
And the Supreme Court justices,
Black Americans would still be enslaved.
And so, when bullied for political belief,
Remember FDR’s inaugural speech
To the nation during the Great Depression:
“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.”
Stand up and say, “We are not afraid!”

Who takes proud credit for their fate?
Whose perverse words reverberate?

The now empowered "Dred Scott" Court.
"Injustices" who took their seats
Enabled by replete deceits:
Empaneled through a bank of lies -
False testimonies in disguise.
The ones whose favors now are sought.

But, there's a cure for these extremes,
These crass undemocratic schemes:
Turn out on next election day
And vote to reverse this decay.

Yet, recent events have changed the landscape
And with them we recall this quote
By President John Adams -
Which casts an ominous shadow:
"Remember, democracy never lasts long.
It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself.
There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide."
It's the most significant day in Black American history
December 6,1865 the legal ending of chattel slavery
It was 157 years ago
When they finally let God's people go
In the year 1619 was when it all started
Africans from the Motherland were permanently parted
And when in 1787 the US Constitution came to be
The southern states now wanted the slaves
To be considered more than property
Hence there was a compromise to that plan
Black slaves would be denoted as 3/5 of a man
But in 1810 an alarming trend America would then see
The slave population started growing exponentially
Also there were now many free Blacks as well
Who were educating the slaves and causing all kinds of hell
So in 1830 the white Americans enacted a law
That teaching slaves to read would be no more
But they didn't stop at that they came at the Black preachers too
To stop them from giving knowledge and preaching the gospel truth
The Abolitionist movement in America was then born
This mighty democratic republic then became torn
The Dred Scott Decision to Blacks was a devastating blow
Until Abe Lincoln came into power to now run the show
11 southern states abdicated and the Confederacy came to fruition
A Civil War erupted in defiance of the US Constitution
The Emancipation Proclamation was then handed down
Lincoln said I'm president and this conflict over slavery stops now
And in 1864 the 13th Amendment was drafted and enacted
It ended slavery with a lot of southern dissatisfaction
Abolitionists went to Congress on January 31,1865
To make sure that Amendment in session would not be passed by
Yet it took almost an entire year for enough states to ratify
Then legally & federally slavery in America did die
4 million plus Black Americans were now legally free
Abolition Day a momentous day in Black American history
Situated in an embroided spacious field.
Attracting fortunes,wealth and by honey filled.
Land moistured in peace and grace forlorn.
End of strife,struggle,sickness; Goodness un-turn.
Made for all that are drilled.
Second coming; Graced with heightened failure.
Amounting pleasant pressures and did into strife lure.
Lake around,fountains abound,caressing joy.
Entrusting hope and elating reward,by love coil.
Made for all that are like crystal pure.
Shaking and weighing her pupils.
Average gone,dred-ed fall; withering daffodils-
Leisured heart,pounced soul that wealth did make.
Enjoying the company of they that ate the saviour's cake.

I know I have been on repeat for 15 years
I lost all my originality when I was sick and stolen from
My guess is it poured out along with my soul and fears
chasing after my sanity as it flowed away in tears
Its hard to come up with inspiration when your on pause
trying to justify the actions of those who love you
or at the very least come up with a justified cause
one they could of chases based on misinterpreting something they saw you say
or do
But best laid plans and lost causes your once dream life was taken from you
with nothing but a barely believable story that I can only take accountability
for not being strong enough to stay in the right when they made moves to take
my light and say it wasn't true
confused in the dark is not a reasonable place to figure out culpability.
The only thing I have left in me because I shed my soul daily I dont save up
because I cant promise all good every day so let it go good or bad send it
home
and start fresh the next day but I can't shed the memory of the darkness and
the way out it stays in me like a circuit loop in a conduit.
So I can travel in the darkness to shed light on those who stay there and
hope they find hope to search for light because follow me or you when its
their fight is not the best way.
all this said and I am still not right I no I may be meant for darkness to help
others overcome.
if thats true what all the pain to keep me here
so much inner strength it takes to just find a smile and a way to help others.
heal
when all I could been is gone why is that the deal
unloved and alone for 15 years fighting a war that free others.
but dooms me to something that I cannot hate or regret only dred
Hope that i did bot deserve it that I volunteered otherwise I may die in
clovers
But surely it is hell that waits for me.
I feel so unheard I pour out words that are not great
but they would carry meaning spoken to anyone strong and meek
from ear to ear of peasants and kings
and these words will carry a truth for all who truth seek
There were three mice, members of the mob
Wanted to retire, so planned one last job
It was deep winter and it started to snow
But they weren't deterred, and the job was a go.
Their names were Gnasher, Scratcher and Dred
And you dared not cross them or you'd end up dead
Even cats were afraid of their deadly scratch
But very soon they would meet their match.
The target they hit was John O'Neils dairy
But things were now going to get a bit scary
At the main entrance was a large welcome mat
And sprawled all across it was this mean looking cat.
Their luck was in and the cat was asleep
They ran towards him and then took a leap
There was a small hole by the front door
Soon they were in, and on the shop floor.
With some small cartons they built a bridge
Reached the door handle and opened the fridge
In the mousey world it was the ultimate goal
A rare box of cheddar cheese and that's what they stole.
Meanwhile outside puss began to wake up
Was very thirsty and wanted a sup
Then in the snow small footprints he spied
The game was now up for the three mice inside.
He spotted the thieves and he gave chase
But they sprinted off at a very fast pace
The God of mice was looking down on them today
They didn't get the cheddar, but they got clean away.
The camera's were played back the very next day
As the drama unfolded there were gasps of dismay
Puss was so happy his boss he did please
By foiling the robbery and saving the cheese.
O'Neil was so impressed with the actions of his cat
He rewarded him with sardines and a brand new mat
But for the three poor mice, it ended in tears
They were eventually arrested and all got ten years.

The Epiphany that God gave to me
Oh lord as I feel you near in awe for all to fear
I felt your presence next to mine
Wow, how divine this must be a sign
Of an Epiphany
Your message was loud and clear
The more he grows to be a man
The more I know I need a plan
So he can stand upright
,
He doesn't lose sight of the Opportunities
That Might fit him just right
I have a calling and I find myself falling
For you are there
I know how much you care
You fill me up with the strength
To go the whole length
You put words in my head
Now I don't Dred
Because you led me down this path
To bring up this club with Gods love up above
The Leadership, and Experiences
That will create the Opportunities
To guide these kids to Prosperity
It's your love and trust in me
That has led me to be the leader you see in me
How you knew this would fit me like a glove
It was the message from you,
God, up above
Together you have helped me to see
How much these kids need me
It's my faith in you that will keep this club true
Because you knew what I would do
After all, this came straight from you
We will lead them up right,
We will teach them to fight for their Independence
That will set them free,
All of this because you believed in me
Oh lord, how you put this on me
I won't let you down for you have helped me
Keep my feet on the ground
For I always know when you are there
Even though You never make a sound
We know your listening
You spread your love around
It's the Leadership Experiences and Opportunities
I thank you for not even I can figure out why
I always promise to teach these kids to never lie
To always reach for the sky
So they can turn all their Opportunities on high
Oh lord, how you put this on me
Now it's a reality for all to see
Dear lord how much this means to me
For now, I see why you trusted thee
Now my young man has the right plan
To become a good man
It’s a firework holiday,
so let’s light up the night,
wave the stars and stripes,
eat barbecue and drink bud light.
We’ll celebrate the liberties
that SCOTUS says we’ve still got
It appears they’ve all been bought
and before their terms are over
they’ll resurrect Dred Scott.
Watermelon, hot wings
we’ve even added new things,
like smash & grab lootings
and frequent random shootings.
Some Republicans want to break away
to form a less perfect union
can you form a successful nation
based on the politics of illusion?
There used to be parades
I’m told, that featured local
things, like fire fighting brigades
I guess we’re just to fractured now,
to sashay in such displays.
I bet those were the days.
