For too long we have been twirled about by mind
and we see now that we're still at the start line,
since thoughts orbit fears that grip us in their bind,
mirroring desire that let's us not align
with the pulse of innocence, joyful and kind,
being whispers of love that for love does pine.
In bondage to form and conditioned belief,
we're stirred by cry of soul, begging for relief.
Our body is merely dust, yet we are proud
of our ethnic group or method of worship;
religious intolerance, ignorance shroud,
employing rigid views, shooting from the hip,
doing more harm than good, cacophony loud,
denying all souls are forged from the same chip,
labelling God and fighting wars in His name;
dwelling in lower mind, which is a big shame.
Liking not what we see, yearning to be free,
as a rebel, a nerd, we renounce the herd,
simply choosing with throb of love to agree,
whereupon bliss within our pure heart is stirred,
and we’re then no longer tied to a mind tree,
for with whispers of conscience, soul has concurred.
Recognising the same sun shines upon all,
vaporised self is engulfed by a bliss squall.
Beyond belief, that's merely rooted in thought,
we imbibe God's love and light, which we cognise,
transcending fears and desires ego begot,
living in the now, ceasing to weigh and size,
reducing thereby feral cravings to naught,
beholding in wonder, bliss pulsations rise.
In time dissolved stillness, choosing to be still,
by God's bountiful grace, we heal and voids fill.

As I mused in bosom stone, I presume for myself.
It wouldn't alarm me that I must do a diet program.
Slight weight reduction will profit my life.
Weight might prompt some sort of alarm.
I started with a healthy eating habit.
Made of scores that should be tabulated.
Food varieties are endured alike biscuits or chocolate.
Despite my best endeavors, I flubbed it.
Some other individuals asked to drink a lot of fluid.
This aids the removal of pollutant.
I essentially quit the regimen am eluted.
Since I went to the lavatory much of the night!
To make it simple, I start trying a low-carb diet.
My meal plans are as simple as a night's dream.
I'm told not to eat red meat, bread, or sweet dessert.
Never ingest cookies, candy bars, or ice cream.
However, after several days of reduced carb.
Events did not carry out as expected.
This was the specific converse of the water gob.
Every day, I feel obstructed from doing my works.
I've had enough with the eating plans.
The trick is to select a suitable one.
For a sack of chips with two hands.
Was a real well food right for me then?

THEY DOUBTED HIM WHEN HE STARTED OUT
THEY SAID HE WOULD NEVER AMOUNT TO NOTHING
THEY LOOKED RIGHT PAST HIM IN THE TRY OUTS
THEY SAID HE WAS A WASTE OF TIME
SOMEONE SPOKE OF HIM AS TRASH( HE HEARD IT)
HE REMEMBERS CRYING TO HIS WIFE ABOUT
NOT MAKING THE TEAM
SHE LEFT HIM FOR THE GUY WHO CAME IN LAST
HE LOST HIS FIRST OPPOTUNITY AT BEING CHAMPION
AND WHEN THE CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITY REFUSED TO RECOGNIZE HIUM AS
NUMBER CONTENDER
HE JUST LOOKED AT WHAT THEY WERE DOING
AND CAME UP WITH SOMETHING TO MAKE A WORLD SEE
JUST HOW PEOPLE REALLY WERE.
THEY REFUSED TO LET HIM BE TOURNAMENTS
THEY CHANGED THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AND DIDN'T TELL HIM
WHEN HE WAS ON TELEVISION SHOWS
THE HOST OFTEN KNEW MORE ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON THEN HE DID.
HE SAID AT TIMES ONLY LOOK IN THE MIRROR COULD
HAVE HIM RECOGNIZE THE MAN HE WAS
HE WON SIX TOURNAMENTS TO MAKE PROUD A COMPANY
WHO REFUSED TO PUT HIS NAME ON THE COMPANIES CHAMPION LIST
WHEN THE COMPANY EXPANDED INTO NEW MARKETS
THEY REFUSED TO TELL HIM WHERE HIS COMMUNACATION OFFICE WOULD BE.
HE MISSED TEN SHOWS ANDTHEY THREATENED TO STRIP HIM OF THE WORLDS TITLE
HE BEAT THE COMPANIES LEAD CONTENDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE OPPUTUNITY TO BE THE ONLY RECOGNIZED WORLDS CHAMPION IN NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA.
HE WON AND THE COMP[ANY TOOK BOTH BELTS AND MADE HIM CARRY A TROPHY AND A CARD BORAD SIGN SAYING HE WAS THE CHAMP.
WHEN THE TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO LOSS TEN POUNDS TO FIUT INTO THE NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CLASS REQUIREMENTS
HE THROW THE TROPHY DOWN AND TORN THE CARDBOARD SIGN IN HALF,
AND WALKED AWAY.
Here they come with
an iPhone
Go Pro Zv Max
buddies in their ears
bopping to old tracks
dead cat on a mic
push it in yer face
what are you doing, girl?
Tryin’ to turn a trick
earn your Rhino tranq?
Sneakers burning
keeping warm
sleeping standing
got no dorm
Here they come in
their pink puffy
glittering long fat coats
frothy coffee, milk of oats.
Come see the zoo;
we got dead cats, dead rats,
xylazine zombies too
shootings, drive by’s
OD’s, all you need.
It’s killadelphia man
Sleeping in grime
in this here hood
that ain’t no crime
ain’t no good
Here they come with
Their TikTok
YouTube Instagram smirk
Here’s a Dixie buddy
tell me where to shoot.
My girls lost a foot
you wanna see that?
See him lie, see him die
what you gotta film
to get your likes?
influence me
influencer
nothing to see
make a stir
ETERNAL SLUMBER
I'm Serving Savory Sacrifices of Soulful Songs,
Soundly Singing psalms so Sonorously:
So-fa-mi-ra-do,
Sweet Songs on my lips Staples,
So far my radio
Shook so many Tables
Souls Scintillatingly Trembles
As feets, mouths and hands Dabbles
Soul-prayerfully we stand so strong like Jambuls
Making my Mumble Mockers go Bunkers,
Mayhem Magnanimously, Murderously Making More Moaners
Including the Stalkers, Scorners and Spoilers,
Inoculate my jesters into the sleep ocean.
Pollute their Motion & Intention with slumbering Potion
Because no fusion to be awaken in life's institution,
Now look at them in their slumbering execution,
They are even doing choreography sleep!
Lol...Sheepishly taken astray like a Shaded Sheep
To be slaughtered by bounded brainstorming breezes, blowing,
Bellowing, bringing bed-time bruises, bad buddies broken,
Shaken, Sailing Straight into Solitary Severe Sleep instead,
Eternally Entangled into Ephemeral Everlasting End.

I ask you
To allow me to breathe again
Grant me, one more sin
And I would breathe again
Borrow the sorrow of suffering men
If I could breathe again
It’s kind of funny how life brings you
Its twist, its turns
It’s young, it’s unborn
Scripts to this song severely worn
First class have-nots
In all my dignity, I am untouchable
Paranoia is but unstable trust
From what’s beneath you skull
I beg for lust
You simply pleasure the clutch
Aside from aging
I ain’t doing much
Without adrenaline
How am I to pursue this rush?
Fallen from pure lush
Crawling lifeless beneath a deathly crush
Life long terror
Individuals in this priceless era
Her passion, my pain
My due rations in a given range
My life story, just not worth the tale
Rage through sunshine
To only again awaken in hell
Slavery is not the end of atrocities
Suffered by minority communities
The every day systematic sway
Of bricks piled against you like
A wall of pain
So many bricks
The millions murdered for simply being
Who they were born to be black brown red
But of these I speak of what I know firsthand
The professional personal political assassination
of the collective black character is so deep
It is astonishing ingrained and denied to be a thing
For instance because there was a black president
In this racist country people say there you have equality
Nope
A system built on the back of blacks
That promotes hate of anything black
Saving a few teachers pets
Does not save the souls of those
Still being oppressed stressed and put to death
Schools are the battleground as well
We are not even teaching the truth freely
Jim Crow is alive and well look it up
The systems of government are used and abused
To keep people from getting the American Dream
The poor displaced and disgraced
Taxed to the max
While the rich enjoy perks less tax relax
When I walk in a store I am sized up and categorized
followed by security I may get service
But only if I look affluent enough and
Sometimes not even then
Depending on the store and area
When my brother walks down the street
Do you clutch your purse
No really
If he doesn’t style himself just so
Is he perceived as less than
When he goes to the bank for a loan
How often will he be denied
Or unfairly penalized
It’s deeper than slavery
We are still here suffering despite being
Called American we are treated
Not even as well as foreigners
Who seek asylum
Where is that for the brown red black people
It’s not being able to fairly compete for jobs
When corporate snobs want degrees and experience
But how do you get one before the other
When you don’t qualify for loans
Or go in so much debt for college
That the dream is deferred
Or you get the job but the pay
Is poor because you can’t afford the degree
Never mind you are doing the job perfectly
So you must get multiple jobs to eat
I’m so sick of saying that marginalized
Systematic racism in America is more than what happened then it is what is happening today now
And by the looks of it what the future holds
As the systems of old have not been replaced!
When you are young
What do you know of old age?
Then life is at a high noon.
But old age comes
It comes with loss.
Your heart begins to weaken
Your breath becomes quite short
Your muscles are not strong anymore
Even walking the dog is a tiring chore
And the days at the sea are no longer fun
Life often seems sad bleak and without sun.
Sleep and prayer offer some relief
But I can often can hear these words
“Enough is enough of this grief”
My mind sometimes says to me,
“I’m too young to be old”
But my body says, “you’ll see.”
So, I do what I can
Usually pushing for more
I regulate the days to spend
Most time with art and garden friend
I breathe in God with every move
Sending out blessings of deliverance to all
For all the good I still can do until I go.
We call it progress. We call it convenience.
But rarely do we stop to ask what it’s doing to us.
Technology promised to save time, yet we feel busier.
Promised to connect us, yet we feel lonelier.
This is my reflection on the tool that runs our lives
and the choice we still have in how we use it.
We built machines to think faster than us,
and phones to remember what we forget.
We made light that lives inside glass,
and voices that travel across oceans in a second.
Technology feeds us, heals us, connects us.
A tap and food arrives.
A click and a doctor answers.
A message and "good night" reaches someone before they sleep.
But it also takes.
It takes our eyes from the sky,
our hands from each other,
our quiet from the night.
Maybe technology is not good or bad.
Maybe it’s a mirror.
It shows what we choose to build with it.
Bridges or walls.
Noise or poetry.
So I choose to use it to write this.
To reach you.
To leave something soft in a loud world.

gazing up at the heavens
as I lie on the warm summer ground
wondering what Father God
is doing right now
the sprinkling of the stars
shining so bright
showing the power and glory
that is God's eternal light
the constellation pictures
that the stars do make
are they just for God
or also for our sake?
and whenever I hear
the thunder's roar
I wonder if God is playing
with a bowling ball
and whenever I see
the lightening flash
I wonder if Jesus
just ran a 100 yard dash
gazing up at the heavens
the Kingdom of the Lord
waiting for the day
when I'll get my room and board
