The Loser

I don't know why I care so much

Everybody uses me like a crutch

To support them when they are feeling down

I'm the one they call, to turn things around

And when their lives are going well

Guess who they forget to call and tell

The one who helped them get back on their feet

I'm no longer needed, I'm obsolete

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself

It's probably because I can't ignore a cry for help

It's in my nature, that's who I am

A kind-hearted person that actually gives a damn

Who cares very deeply about all his friends

But I end up being the loser in the end
