Cold blue tile is the foundation from which two children build their world.
This airport has seen thousands upon thousands of feet touching its ground,
but their travel-weary weight is erased
as toddlers run, screaming joyfully, over top.
Laughter bubbles from their tiny pink lips,
and I find I can’t help but join in.
Snow-blond hair and a green dino hoodie.
These are the hallmarks of those who herald cheer into the world,
though they’re not yet conscious of anything but their next step forward.
Hold tight to your vibrant visions of castles and ships for as long as you can, little ones.
Your light is precious. May it not be fleeting.
Dino walks on the lino with a cat for a hat
A collar for colour and leash for pastiche
With a tale in his tail as he jiggles and wiggles
The flag half white with delight and bright as the light
Green shadows for meadows and jolly as jelly
The grand creature roars extra on demand as a feature
‘I am the Lord in the fort and mojo of play dough
Patrician magician and seal your appeal
Applause from my paws will guard in the land of the bard’
Dino looks like a rhino or bear in despair
A clown with a crown or ovoid on steroids
Mussel with tussles or dragon that fell of the waggon
‘When I’m older and bolder my fire won’t tire
Blow fumes in my plumes and breathe off at ease
Enlarge small into tall protect Daddy from baddies’
‘The rhyme is past bedtime one last lullaby sweetie pie
Happy dreams no monster screams rest snug little slug’
‘Love you Daddy Paddy let’s have dinosaur scales for breakfast in Wales’

Television's Funster's
Two of my favorites
The Addams Family and the Munster's
The Honeymooner's- with Ralph and Ed
Their still on late at night
Fun to watch- 'fore we go to bed
The Odd Couple- a comedy treat
It is certainly odd
Oscar so messy, Felix so neat
Fred, Barney and Dino the dinosaur
Got to love the Flintstone's
I must have watched them a thousand times...or more
The Little Rascals- all of the gang
Spanky, Buckwheat, Darla...
Oh, and how Alfalfa Sang
When it comes to smartness- Abbott was the worst
Costello was the genius...
He wrote- "Who's on first"
The smartest man to play his part
Obviously, it has to be Don Adams
He was "Maxwell Smart"
The funniest lady of them all
The one that I love
I Love Lucy's- Lucille Ball

Foreword...
Of two commonly used pronunciations, this poem uses Dippla-doe-cous.
Originally written as a singy songy thingy to the tune of Supercalifragilistcexpealidocious.
Jurassic Lark.
An optical illusion or a little hocus pocus
I swear I saw a dinosaur, a massive Diplodocus
Then came the Tyrannosaur which seemed the most ferocious
Until I saw the Allosaurus eat the Diplodocus
Triceratops and Stegosaurs begin this second chapter
These are vegetarian, unlike Velociraptor
Two of which pursued my wife, and pretty soon they trapped her
But I got back her wedding ring, cos two days on they crapped her
Some dinosaurs are still alive, there's evidence before us
The tabloid press this morning were quite ready to assure us
That two armed men who robbed the bank cried out as if in chorus
Beat it or we're done for mate cos ARREKONYSAURUS!
While driving home from work one day the traffic all stood still
Word went round a car had hit a P-terodactyl
I snuck along the traffic queue to see it wasn't so
What people thought a pterosaur was Barry Manilow
A stomping sound behind me and I turn so full of fear
I fear I'll see a dino there, I do, and it's so near
I gaze into its gaping jaws, its breath is foul and hot
And so with much bravado, I say My, what big teeth you've...
CRUNCH... GULP...
So now I sit and fester here, inside a Dino gut
I guess it is my destiny to exit through his butt
I can't do much about it so I'll have to live with it
I go to meet my maker as a piece of Dino sh...
Any foodie on the brink
Of getting moody thinks
Of the dear dairy panacea
Culinary kinks
Cultural links
Gourmet high jinx
Where the nods & the winks
Go to the food of the Gods
The sexy minx that really stinks
A noble global endeavour
Palette caged by a rare
Cave aged Gruyere
Arty farty dolcelatte party
Comte & cheddar
Smutty nutty double header
Camembert flair
Prouder of Gouda
Stilton to share
Or louder Parmesan fan
Even when it’s powder?
Aristocratic blue vein
More a Roquefort sort
Or St Augur holds court
Emphatic stench & stain
Tester of Red Leicester
What's better than Feta
Double Gloucester no imposter
Boursin or St Paulin on the roster
Snarl if there's no emmental
Pecorino the Ferrari Dino
Halloumi whispers consume me
New coup for Exmoor blue
Hail the tale of Wensleydale
Willy nilly grab a slab of Philly
Wealthier folks say Philadelphia
On the grounds sounds healthier
Right now is Ricotta somehow hotter
Or creamy dreamy Burrata smarter
Kowtow to Yarg from Celtic Kernow
Homage to fromage global trotter
Whatever floats your boat
High roller Gorgonzola
Maybe Goat gets your vote
Or those in the know
Gloat..chose sheep & Manchego
Young or well hung
Given time in the cellar
Yippee glee of smelly brie
But won’t sneer at Paneer
Mozzarella can be stellar
Even give a damn about Madame Edam
Stringy Raclette the best bet yet
Or the goo of Fondue more you
Can't sledge a wedge of Old Amsterdam
Primula still familiar
Wary of the not rated
Scary squirting lube
You squeeze with ease
Flirting fairy out of a tube
Ill fated.. hated pre grated
Diced into a nice cube
Drastic or fantastic vices
Chose those plastic elastic slices
Could plea for some Dairy Lea
Fell under that Babybel spell
Or pray tell a stash of well maybe
Laughing cow oui Le Vache qui Rit
Little Tyro seemed normal at birth
Green color, long enough, the proper girth
But when he didn't grow for nigh on a year
Mom and Dad Tyrannosaurus were filled with fear
One day they took poor Tyro to the dino-vet
Who confirmed his parents' worst fears yet
Little Tyro had a very, very rare mutation
That caused its victims diminished maturation
Little Tyro would barely get to grow at all
In fact he'd barely be 50 centimeters tall
He'd never be able to go outside and play
For he'd be stepped on by others right away
While his prognosis certainly wasn't very good
Tyro made his way in life, as best he could
Then one day, a miracle came along
That freed him from a destiny, gone so wrong
A giant meteor whooshed down and struck the Earth
To climate changes and an Ice Age it gave birth
All the big, cold-blooded dinosaurs up and died
But not Tyro, who tiny body stayed warm inside
For there was something the dino-vet just hadn't known
Tyro's mutation meant he was a mammal full-blown
Warm-blooded, friendly, cute and full of fun --
He became Neanderthal Man's favorite pet, bar none!

It is prophesied that
“Wisdom dwells
In contemplation;
There we must seek her...”
After contemplating a lesson I heard,
I now realize that there is something
That may be called Churchtianiry, and
There is what is known as Christianity:-
Now the first has its focus on what’s called
DINO;
While the other has its focus on what is known as
SHBISTO:-
Acoustically Speaking:
Disciple
In
Name
Only…
&
Serving
Him
Being
In
Service
To
Others…
The DINO’s emphasis is on those who are;
The SHBISTO emphasis is on whose they are:-
Contemplatively:
Be not who you and others think you ought to be;
Rather, be who and whose you know you are:
We are here to love as He loved us as His friends;
We are not here to be in love with only that name
We think we are:
Following the crucifixion and the resurrection, the 12
Had to become whose they were:-
Dumbledee Dinosaur had birds on his knees
His long, Long, LONG neck would often spout green peas
His eyes would twirl and his ears would spin
He tried to smile all the time but his mouth was too thin
He loved the waters of Twee lakes and Twee oceans
But tangled his giant Dino feet with too much commotion
He waddled and bobbled in such a funny sight
That all the Twees and Twums from Tweedledee Dum
Would run, Run, RUN it was such a FRIGHT!!!
They flew up in the air without any care
They Tweedledee Twumed on their wee Twee little bums
Till Dumbledee Dinosaur caught them midair - with such laughter
To save the day for Twee and live happily ever after!
Fossilized pieces past discovery’s brink
made some people
think, think, think,
of giant plant eaters in an artist’s sketch,
how their necks would
stretch, stretch, stretch.
Meat eaters hungry and looking for a fight,
ambush or chase,
bite, bite, bite.
But it took just one space rock pulled by the sun,
and their time was
done, done, done.
They may have to stay in studios and screens
if we can’t find
genes, genes, genes.
Dino from Bedrock, Godzilla from Japan,
imagine it
can, can, can.
What a purple T-Rex from Texas would bring,
and how he could
sing, sing, sing.
From a land before time filled with Ducky’s pep,
good to the last
yep, yep, yep.

Maybe dinosaurs existed in the old days or maybe they did not
an andrewsarchus, was a large-snouted predator I am told,
may I be so bold to say, I never met one anyway, so I think not
I heard of prehistoric pigs named Entelodons, perhaps its true
perhaps they died by climate change, perhaps they were shot
they said giant armadillos lived,... in that epoch that was true
There were glytodons that ate grass and plants by waters edge
heavily armored so they say, but not one fossil I did find
they used their tail to smack and kill, oh I'm sure they had the edge
I heard there was a Dinosaur named Dino but he wasn't rusty red
he belonged to Fred Flintstone and he wasn't all that mean
he was a male Snorkasaurus and yes he was well read
Maybe there were dinosaurs, but maybe there were not !
