Samson and Delilah

Delilah: Samson, why do you imprison my love in the dungeon of mistrust?
the hypnotism of my succulent breasts and the soothing and soft
feel of my moist lips, your stolid heart betrays.
You truly do have the strength of a god, but even a god is subject
to the mind-blowing caresses of a goddess. Prove your love to me
by submitting to just this nagging request, and our much anticipated
wedlock which you earnestly desire will be certain.
Samson: Your words turn me on as much as the moist feel of your
honey gate. How could I ever resist thee Delilah? certainly at your
behest, I bequeath my awesome and divine strength.
Delilah: Then rest your troubled head on the comfort of my massaging hands,
and see that there never was, nor can ever be, a warm resting place
for your wearied head like these lovely hands of mine designed like
a pillow fit for a Prince.

To the Law:

I salute you brother of mine
One whose venomous bile
Sends shivers down the spine
Of spineless rank and file
I have never known you
But like William’s “18”, your
Legend lives on afresh and new
Telling tales of valour and rancour
Singlehandedly, you transformed Be-neen
Into a Bend-Hell; singlehandedly,
You made the state’s purse quite lean
Only to spend your loot foolishly
Like Samson, you had a Delilah
Like Achilles, you had the heel
Expecting you to be caught very far
From home, like a complacent eel
You were tangled in the net
Reclining in the recess of expired nipples
Dousing my awe and admiration. How wet!
Your fame is lost among the ripples
Commander-in-thief that you once were
You died like a mere beggar in the street
How disappointing! From stag to mare
You lost your crown by being indiscreet
Daredevil, bank robber, kingpin
Notorious criminal – the infamous Anini
The Dillinger of your time – a King
Dethroned by men on one knee.

The sprout of momentary illusion,
the voyage of a derelict dream in place of a lie,
the lure of April, the deceit of May concertized in December,
in wintry snow, mocked,
miscarriages of a well worn organ,
the grin of February,
suspended in September,
the burden of unconquered Lust,
the armies of censorial secret "bedders",
begging for the abandoned rottenness on my path,
obsequious frenzy of the hasty oath at Ikoyi,
the stealthily lure of a defiled bed before the oath,
the desperation of "a wanna be" by crook,
hurried by the mascara coated looks of a postponed "dowried hariotery,"
A bedfellow from the red zone,
an unrepentant Gomer,
The armies of bias exes overwhelmed the gaze with suspicions,
compelling through diurnal and surreptitious escapades in dark corners,
allured by unfinished lust,
to the city centre for a quickie,
And myriads of men hides in ambuscade save one,
with threats of kill for suspending their “off home” secret lush
The public mistress unfit for their homes, Yet suited for their Lust by turns
she warmed our beds they say'
purloined for your Fall of a few days,
The bawd roamed unrestrained,
'Don't talk to me' she says.
Unbridled concupiscence her forte,
forty plus years in the trade,
well versed in the art
The sneaky nights,
the secret calls,
the Stygian services,
and countless gift of libidinous frivolities.
Yet their victim must remain mute,
as truly the drama unfolded ,
all appeal rebuffed by arrogance,
as they taunt with permissive perverse Laws
convinced on the first day.
Converse for four weeks,
conscripted in one week
“conbedded” on arrival in same day,
Correction of a fool,
concluded at the Court.
Then in retrospect, Delilah revived.

To the Love of My Life

I hope you will be my last Ex
No human, shall come between us apart from death
I save my breath
for you to inhale, 4,5 & 6

No affection will be greater than this
I will take you places including Paris
I love black high heels
This agony, only you can heal

Your soft skin, is a cure
To my past wounds, you are pure
You are my autumn season
That blossoms these roses for sure
You heart is a safe prison
I want not to escape this future

To the love of my life
I want you to see these flaws
The flaws that flow from my vein
I inherited, jealousy and resilience
Patience and tolerance
I will be your definition of perfection
Your Alpha-Bird and Bed

I have two hearts
The first is my late grandfather's hat
if it's not on my bald head, it's on my wooden table
I create memories to keep
The second, is the woman I will own
My Delilah and secret keeper

I'm short of words
In my silence, feel the love
Your tears, is the last thing I would forever wish to see.

Premium Member Delilah's Story- Part I

She ran her finger through sun kissed locks
As he lay sleeping in her bed
His handsome face smiled in a dream
Her breasts the pillow for his head

How she wanted their night to last
But soon t’would be the break of day
When he would arise and then be gone
Her charm could not make him stay

But, oh how she did adore him
As she gazed at his muscled form
Even more than she loved his strength
Was his passion that took her by storm

She had lain often in this bed
With countless other horrid men
But none had ever touched her heart
As this man fast asleep right then

Earlier she’d once more asked him
That which would bring her wealth and fame
She asked as she slowly undressed
“Delilah, your question’s the same.”

“But, Samson if you do love me
You’ll share your secret that’s profound”
Then she molded herself to him
He couldn’t breathe or make a sound

He moaned as she touched and pleased him
But she knew timing must be right
Before she’d let him possess her
Her vict’ry had to be in sight

She called him in the grip of passion
“Your strength drives me insane
But, Samson, if I don’t know the secret
You’ll never touch me like this again”

His hair flowed down all about her
Curtaining all except his face
“You’ll always be mine, Delilah
My hair is my God given grace.”

Then she closed her eyes and let go
And they both tasted ecstasy
Now he lay spent on her full breasts
Would she let her strong man go free?

Your Cheat'N'Ness

 By: D. Collins 8/6/21

Remember Samson and Delilah from biblical text?
A man met his demise from chasing that sex.
There's going to be a loser on the back end.
Just look in the mirror and see the reflection.

There's only so many good things you can give up.
Even cheaters don't want you, once you've been dumped.
There ain't nothing 'mo betta than a tight relationship.
They know what you're thinking, before you think of it.

Every wanna be soldier wants to show they're hardcore.
Until the day they realize their boots don't strap anymore.
I pass along this advice, because I can make you a soldier.
If you stash a little to the side until you get a little older.

Samson and Delilah

Delilah tricked Samson and that wasn't fair.
She tricked him into revealing that his strength came from his hair.
She was a treacherous woman who was very mean.
She exposed his secret to the Philistines.
The Philistines shaved his head bald and poked his eyes out.
If Delilah hadn't been a traitor, this wouldn't have came about.
Samson was put between two pillars after they made him go blind.
He asked God to give him strength one last time.
He pushed the two pillars and caused everything to fall.
He crushed the Philistines to death and he killed them all.
It was sad because of what they did to him.
But it was even more sad when he had to die with them.

How exhilarating...
this magic spell of you. I'm completely
at your mercy, my love. I wish you knew
Oh, I wish you knew just how deeply
you thrill and seduce me.

Your trace of "beloved" across the chamber
of my heart with your delicate fingertips
The tickling breeze from your blow on
the nape of my neck sends goosebumps
radiating deep down to my bones

Your soft whisper of my name gives me
a tingle up and down my spine.
The sparkle in your eyes and smile
explode with adulterated joy and shakes
the concrete beneath my feet.

Your every touch, goosebumps
cap-a-pie, skin and bones. Each kiss
goodbye, a torturous yearning that turns
my world topsy-turvy; my heart
churning like an angry ocean....

until you return!

A chronological anthology
Of legends, folk lore and mythology
There’s no one called Eric
Or Ethel or Derek
For which I shall make no apology

Samson just got himself sheared
Delilah had cut off his beard
She cut off his hair
Then headed ‘down there’
And cut off far more than he’d feared

The Romans detested Boudicca
She never would be a boot licker
That feared Celtic lass
Stuck a spear up their a.s.s
And that made them march a bit quicker

According to legend and fable
Merlin was slightly unstable
His spell came apart
So ‘a wheel for a cart’
Turned into a bloody great table

In years gone by Lady Godiva
Had no car... she wasn't a driver
No licence of course
But show her a horse
She'd whip off her kit for a fiver

Robin Hood’s men were all merry
They'd guzzled a flagon of Sherry
With Marion pissed
Young Robin got kissed
And then they got all missionary

A fella who’s called Calvin Klein
Is a legend in his own time
Those rich city slickers
Wear Calvin Klein knickers
But wouldn't be seen dead in mine

But stand aside Canute and Midas
For legends still amble beside us
Not witch nor soothsayer
Nor some Dragon slayer
But mortals who get rid of Spiders

Perchance it’s your husband or wife
Who acts without sabre or knife
They might be an Eric
Or Ethel or Derek...
(And might be in fear of their life).
