Premium Member The Naked Moon - Dont Look

When left alone at night
I look for the pinpoint lights
of the stars that there are,
when clouds there aren’t.

There’s a waning gibbous moon
shyly peaking from the shadows,
with one of its symmetrical sides,
what’s the moon got to hide?

whispering privately
I’ve heard the moon has a darkside,
that it’s coin-like and openly two-faced.
That’s no idle gossip, it's scientifically based.

India just landed on the moons bottom
I wonder what, exactly, that got ‘em.
It’s funny because the moon is nude,
making the landing sound rather rude.

“India is groping the nude moon’s bottom.”
See what I mean? It all sounds rather pervish
and obscene - not at all the usual routine -
it has the ring of something politically incorrect,
but that’s progress, I guess, undressed or dressed.

the dark side of the moon

Many people may wonder whats on the dark side of the moon. it could be aliens it could be monsters but hopefully they don't find out soon. if it can keep the light away it can hide all of its dark secrets, no one will ever know.
it can blind everyone with its beautiful bright side and keep the shadows on the low.
they say every year the moon gets further away this is so it is easier for the moon to keep its dark side at bay.
theres a reason we never went back to the moon after Apollo, for the few that have seen the moon for what it truly is they find it a pill impossible to swallow.
so the moon pushes all away, afraid we to will see its dark side one day.
we have all fallen in-love with its beautiful moonlight but would we still love the moon if we knew its secrets.
if you look closely you can see all its deep craters there are somethings you just can hide.
looking at the craters you get a faint idea of all the times the moon has cried.
sometimes i stare at the moon knowing its the only one that understands me.
our dark sides are similar we must make sure no one can see.
i feel connected to the moon even though it is so far,
we have one thing in common they cant ever find out who we really are.

Premium Member Don'T Walk Through the Dark Side Alone

I know trouble times got you moping
And in appreciation you're hoping
You're looking for a present
Praying for a blessing
Wondering why the Lord God allows this...
Abusive abusing children and elderly
Murders and crimes robberies in times all this is done in the dark
Is anyone a watch
I'm tired of being a witness
Who turned off the light switch
It's so hard for me to think seems like your abandon but just when you think You're lost and no one on this Earth fills your heart
When midnight comes don't walk through the dark
Don't walk through the darkside alone
And when midnight comes and it's dark
Don't walk through the dark side alone
He's your eyes and your heart never leaving you always by your side
You never shunned God won't let you walk through the darkness alone
You feel like you're not assured and you seem like you're all alone
You're looking for a presence praying for blessing
While still wondering is God even here
The world's dark all around you seems like you're all alone the world's dark all around you seems as those Satan's got you even holding on to the dark and as you take your walk your eyes are open you still in the dark no one on earth feels your heart when midnight comes as you walk you are not alone you have the Lord God Jesus won't let you walk through the dark side alone

Art is more than a three letter word.
It began with the word, art is life.
It has a spirit of its own;
Some think they cannot hear the zeitgeist,
But you do not even have to listen,
To hear the philosophers speaking,
To understand the reason;
To genuflect to all their thinking.

Poetry is more than a six letter word.
It is soulful and meaningful and so full of nerves.
Emotions move mountains,
Fear leads to the darkside.
There is joy and laughter, patience and pride.

The voice of a nation is writing her book;
The world is out there for you,
If only you would look.
Do not hide away from the gifts you are given.
They belong to you; they are from a place of Eden.

All men, women and children
And the billions more who came before,
Have led to this very moment in time…
Take a bow and shine…
Await the applause…

The Riders Rage

Darkside Of Aquarius Poetry Contest Entry

The Riders Rage

The first rode in atop towers of gold,
His simpering grin showed a heart stone cold.
He chanted slogans, sharp and loud,
Dark shadows gathered in the crowd.
His steed was steel, his lips spat flame—
He buried truth and sold his name.

The second rose from Africa’s heat,
With circuits and chips working so neat.
Promising stars, worlds in the skies,
But he left the earth to strangle on lies.
Eyes of glass and heart of code,
He paved the way, then off he strode.

The third wore medals, and sinful pride,
He preached of honor, sermons that lied.
He forced the young to fight and bleed,
Then fed on their rage to slake his need.
His voice was velvet, whiskey soaked,
Of secret missions he texted and joked.

The fourth was hoarse, and whisper thin,
False prophet lost in toxic spin.
He spoke of cures, of sacred blood,
Watched reason drown beneath the flood.
His gospel twisted, soft and slow—
A worm that danced where truth won’t go.

And still the wheel refused to turn,
Intention wrong as the heavens burned.
Silver Spirit, alone, betrayed,
Could only watch as the world decayed

Aquarius gone dark and dead.
A future scored with pain and dread,
As each rider raped this land
And left behind his evil brand.

Gotta burn the wheel of Dharma down
Burn the wheel of Dharma down
Burn the wheel of Dharma down
Burn the wheel right down, right now yeah

Failed Attempts

In my years of living it's been a dark ride
On more than one occasion I've tried to make it to the darkside
Pain & hurt, my brain overworked
Cutting myself until there was blood stains on my shirt
I swear it was insane, felt sick and ashamed
Cutting deeper & deeper but couldn't hit no vein
I had no one to turn to, alone cuddled on the rug
Damn near lifeless stiff as a stone surrounded by a puddle of blood
Thinking I'm almost home, I can see the linked gates
But in reality I was wondering what's my life come to, lately I've been so messed up I couldn't even think straight
Felt like everybody hates me, can't nobody stand me
Downing pill after pill popping zannies like candy
Klotapins, I had a lot of them
Whatever I did only mattered to me but not to them
I began losing myself, started to rot within
Starting abusing my health, welcomed defeat & watched them lock the win
Not thinking, standing at the bridge up on the top
Lost all feeling inside & was ready to die so I closed my eyes said screw it & dropped
There were strangers around me & bystanders seen it
Head first over 20 feet down face first into the cement
Dead on site at least that's what I hoped
But the lord kept my head on tight so with my latest attempt again I choked
Directly the fall didn't affect me
Had to accept the signs that it wasn't my time so the Lord wouldn't accept me
Apologized for my actions but lied to him
Promised that them days were over but a few years later I tried again
Wrapped the rope around my neck tied it in a knot
Was tired of life & being stuck on the bottom, I wanted to get to the top
Was willing to give up everything, stressed & depressed & all out of jokes & laughs
But as soon as I kicked the chair from under me she appeared in front of me just in time to cut the rope in half
I was letting life get the best of me, allowing my pride to break me
Dying inside wondering why he refused to take me
Making the wrong calls from birth & it's been Hell ever since
Until he came to me in a dream and told me himself that I'm stuck here for the long haul and forever I'm cursed with my failed attempts....

1st Verse:
Our wheel of fortune is ever present
We need to foresee all we resent

We must be our own saviour
At best with our behaviour

Tread lightly amongst greed and corruption
Dont let them be a disruption

Wisdom and bravery never condemn
always aim to illuminate them

Lies and violence bring us to war
Do we ever question what we're fighting for?

Chorus:
Keep the wheel of goodness turning,
Keep greed and deceit ever burning
over a flaming fire
not our funeral pier

Verse 2:
Move the wheel in the right direction
Feel the unity as we instigate correction

Overcome wrong doing as best we know
No waiting to be the one they call hero

March against evil, and tyranny
Eradicate corruption now you see

Create human dignity and kindness.
Honesty and goodness will end their blindness

Poison is spreading over the land
As they move the wheel lend a hand

Chorus:
Keep the wheel of goodness turning,
Keep greed and deceit ever burning
over a flaming fire
not our funeral pier

The heavens break in rivers lit by flame,
the scattered stars bow low, their crowns of shame.
Beneath their weight the trembling earth is torn,
and voices vanish where younger dreams were born.

The oceans burn their silver currents lost,
dark smoke lifts to wrap the sky in frost.
A rider moves across the night in red
while whispers lift among the countless dead.

Mothers defend their sons with quivering hands
as iron footsteps mark the broken lands.
The seer cried out but none would heed their song.
a shadowed reign had gripped the earth too long.

Amid the ruins, one faint spark remains
a gentle light that bear all the chains.
Though heavens vanish and every fate derides,
the human heart keeps burning through the tides.

Beneath the stars, a glittery haze,
A cosmic queen in her celestial daze.
She told me, "Darling, can't you tell?
This is just your fabulous destiny, spelled!"

She pulled out cards, all shimmery and bright,
And whispered secrets, bathed in moonlit light.
"The stars align, the moon's a rosy hue,"
(I just wanted to find my favorite shoe!)

"The Darkside of Aquarius, honey, calls,
Prepare for shopping sprees and velvet falls!
Your spirit, sweetie, is quite entwined,"
(With a perfectly matched handbag I can't find!)

She spoke of eras, crushes, and such strife,
As I just hoped for a drama-free life.
"A spiritual and sparkly, fated art!"
(I'd rather scroll through TikTok, bless my heart!)

I checked my phone, a little sigh,
And caught a twinkle in her eye.
"You'll find your truth; you'll feel the glow!"
"Okay, but can we get some froyo, though?"

The prophecy, a grand design,
Turned out to be just a good time.
The Darkside of Aquarius? Pfft!
Just my bestie suggesting a spontaneous road trip!

That Ancient Darkside of All Hallows’ Eve Past

As in the fabled medieval times of centuries in the deep past,
It’s time once again to celebrate the hidden ugly horror that
Seeks to infest and devour all human souls in this new century.

Be warned that false-faced beggars shall knock at each door,
And unbeknownst to the common people that they shall meet
On this All Hallows’ Eve—all shall not be well and normal!

With their bloodstained masks these real Ghosts, Ghouls and
Goblins shall shout out “Trick or Treat” as a fiend’s true cover
For something that’s sordid, unclean, ungodly, and macabre.

Looking for a clever sweet surprise for the unsuspecting souls,
These devilish minions begin gathering and dancing wildly to
“The Dark Spirit of the Pale Hallowed Moon” on this night!

Shawled with the darkness of souls and their living nightmares,
Ghastly silver phantoms now seek to scare the living-death out
Of every innocent person they encounter on this darkest eve.

Houses are marked by an eerie orange-pumpkin-light escaping
Into the dancing-dark shadows that hold all night-life precious,
As these phantoms move freely in the frigid breath of this night!

Creating a palpable angst they begin shaking the tree branches as
Horrid and terrifying spirits of true evil and witchcraft escape into
The cold-dark ether caught up in the vile magic of Lucifer himself.

Fortunately, they are tricked by the sound of an old tune playing a
Heavenly paean for knowing “What's Right From What’s Wrong,”
And warning them that the wrath of Almighty God awaits them!

In the end, the absolute power and holy majesty of Almighty God
Served as the saving grace to this foul situation which threatened
The innocent souls who were ensnared by these unholy phantoms.

And so, if thou doth question the probity of what hath been related to
You in this sacred narrative, then thou shall risk forfeit of your soul,
As these evil phantoms lurketh ever in the shadows and never forget!
