Monster

Scales interspersed my skin, enrobed my flesh, hardened it, within a mesh. I come close to kiss you, but it binds me still, and you walk away, and I hobble up the hill. One foot follows the other=feigns, I must catch you before it wanes. The fog between us has grown so dense, and my body with it all so tense, my steps slow down yours speeding=out of my sight, now. What immense fright...

I falter on my knees, near to naught, nigh to my knife, and I cut me, and the blood runs so rife, a gate opens but I don't recall I have its keys, but it doesn't end my life.

I clenched my teeth and pulled each foul flake from underneath, and freed myself but now I seek=her until she's meek, until she's weak...

I walk with my chest up, then I see her clear, I walk toward her, and her voice I hear, “I've come for you my precious dear”, I said as I smiled from ear to ear. I held her mere but she flailed from fear. Then she froze in fear. And I sank my fangs in her,

as I dropped a single tear.

Premium Member Where Did You Go, My Brother - Translation

This is a TRANSLATION from a Poem in Bengali (a regional language in India) by SAGARIKA DAS, who is my sister. My brother left us on July 5, 2021.

on this rainy day, in the dark...
where are you gone, my sweet brother?
we were all waiting for you,
for your return ...
we all would live together,
we all would surround you.
In this dark night,
where did you go, my kind brother?

with a heart-felt smile, with a heart-felt mind.
you used to extend your supporting hands,
you were for us all,
the sky above.
In this dark night,
where did you go, my sweet brother?

the field was yours,
when you had the ball,
status was never your concern,
it was humility, who were you.
your tolerance was as endless as an ocean,
your love equally knew no bounds,
your heart was as pure
as was your demeanour.
in this stormy night...on a solitary journey...where did you go,
my kind brother?

you created a cherished nest,
with your darling wife,
left the life of true happiness,
severing the bond,
on this rainy day, alone...
please come back, my brother.

Shedding Regret

I found this poem at last tucked in one of my journal entries...I guess it was supposed to be a song, but I can no longer remember the tune...ah well... it was written a few years ago and it kept repeating in my head. So here it eeeessssss...... :-P Jan. 4, 2008

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cry for help there's no reply
I know that I'm alone once more
I hope, I wait, I pray, I cry
kneeling to the bloodstained floor

The blood I shed for your dark fate
Is nothing that can be repaid
For the love you gave so true...so pure
That now seems nothing anymore

I long to hear your steady breathing
My head pressed against your chest
To hear your heart slowly beating
Never hesitating to rest

(those days are gone...)

The blood I shed for your dark fate
Is nothing that can be repaid
For the love you gave so true...so pure
That now seems nothing anymore

Now I wait in this dark room
Hoping you will come to free me
Hearing whispers in the gloom
Cold breath brushing right behind me

(can it be you?)

The tears I shed for your dark fate
Is nothing that can be repaid
For the love you gave so true...so pure
That now seems nothing anymore

Premium Member I Am Thinking About Your Life

I am thinking about you

You. Only you live in my mind. Where are you? Where?
Why are you hiding from me? Why? Please, tell me why?
Hmm. You never felt my pain. You love torturing my heart.

Never. Never do this again. Don’t do this. Please. Never more
Oh. The hoped love. My. Mine. Nothing you. I can just feel you
You can’t feel me. Never, never, and never more. Oh. Hoped love

You know, our way turned into two. You are on a highway, maybe
With high speed, they enjoyed a glittering life. Not mine. And not yours
Disco lights in the smoke, your life. Gold, money, goods of material life

With me, crystal snow light in the mountain valleys and mountain peaks
Fresh air, fresh minds. Yours and mine. We are close to the space of sky
Just you and me. The forever happiness of life. And I needed our kind

Three or four. Hmm. Say to them Sorry. I can’t apologize to you. They also can’t
I can’t forgive you. They also can’t. Hmm. You killed your bloods. You are guilty
Sinner. Sinner of your kind. A sinner of your material life. Soul Destroyer lifestyle

You needed to delete my life. Hmm, dark love. You can’t. Drives me Satan
My protection overwrites your line. Hmm. Kids. You are in the children's garden
Just play your silly games more. Do. It will break, and the earth will bury you

Hmm. Where is our love? Where did we lose it? I tell you. Psychology. Your friend
If you didn’t consider your psychologist more important than me, then you live now
Live now. The healthy life. Ours. Together. You and me and we. All together

But you didn’t want a simple soul's love
Then why did you follow me on the train?
Weeks to weeks? What did you want?
A wealthy woman from a Bible reader man?

I really don’t understand this situation
You were dressed like a top princess
To me? Why?

I was dressed like a simple man. My style
Who made you do this? And why?
Who hired you against me? And why?

What has happened
I fell in love with you. Just with you
Your evil life killed three or four guys

Loved you
An honest heart

Bye

Wrong Or Right

It don't ever matter who's wrong or right
All that really matters is that from deep with the dark of night
They are the one whom you long to hold close and tight
Take in every moment you have together
Never mind if at times there's stormy weather
Together you both can make it better
Live for the moments, don't let the moments live for you
do what you can and all you can do
Being in love is more than being true
It's a deeper connection of intimacy not quite like any other
It goes farther than being a friend or a lover
Your everything to them as they are to you
A mating of all the body, heart, mind, and soul
It's not taken lightly you can't choose it, intimacy is in control
Your just there on that ride of a journey going to where ever it's taking your heart
Knowing the one beside you will do whatever it takes to try never to tear it apart
Nothing from them do you ever need to hide
Whatever may come they are there right at your side
At those intimate times where special memories are made when you are gazing into their
eyes
The words suddenly escape you in that very moment it's then you realize
In those times words can't express enough exactly what love can do
It all was told to their heart trust me the message did get through
So when you tow have a fight
Remember all here you have read and don't lose sight
Of how all that matters is that from deep within the dark of night
They are the one whom you long to hold close and tight
And it never matters who's wrong or right

Premium Member There is Darkness at the Edge of Love

So thus, the flaming red gives way to pink
As words that touched a heart now coldly sting
For love, poor bastard of a thousand nights,
Lays spent upon the failing lilt of wit

It has not died yet withers on thin vines
Beneath the pagan sky of winter’s hope
Kneels now before the tilted stones of dread
Awaits a passing shadow’s flaming heart

For there is darkness at the edge of love
An empty place where smold’ring embers cool
And dreams, that cry in memory of stones
And shadow’s that have failed to lead them home

For love is but the longing of two hearts
Its darkness where it ends, not where it starts

Premium Member Ten: a Dark Love Story

I travel in time twenty-five years
And see my lover in the passenger seat
Shifting currents gliding us toward
The tangled fates that we must meet

So many reasons why to go
But I can't see beyond these walls of stone
The oceans between us only grow
And who we are truly can't be known

You hold out a tattered glove
And remember the coming winter chill
I scratch out your name on the wall
And meekly accept my morning pill

I will send you a thought like a butterfly
That at least we're both still alive
You will chase it away with a whispering hand
The very moment it does arrive

Slayer

Ode to the Slayer and the Mystic King

In realms of wonder, where magic's spun,
A Slayer walked, with heart aflame and bright.
With wit and charm, and a soul now won,
Beneath the king's gaze, her heart took flight.

With white light gifts, she wielded her might,
In mystic battles, she fought with gentle art.
Black love surrounded her, a beacon in the night,
Binding her to the king, a love that reached the heart.

Through trials and strife, they stood as one,
Their bond unbroken, like the morning dew.
With every test, their love had just begun,
Together they fought, for me and for you.

With R&B vibes, their passion ignited the air,
A sensual dance, with desire beyond compare.
Their love was real, with a depth so rare,
A treasure trove, that only they could share.

The magician's spell, could not contain,
The Slayer's strength, and the king's sweet refrain.
Their love shone bright, like a guiding star,
Illuminating the path, near and far.

With every challenge, they stood as a team,
Their love and trust, a mystic, surreal dream.
The king's dark love, outmatched all the rest,
For the Slayer's heart, was forever at his breast.

In this world of wonder, they found their delight,
In each other's arms, on a serene and mystic night.
Their love was the anchor, that held fast and strong,
A love that conquered, all the realms, all day long.

The Slayer and the king, a perfect blend,
Of magic, love, and adventure that never ends.
Their bond was the key, to a brighter day,
A love that shone, in a surreal, mystic way.

Thus let us cherish, this love so true,
A bond between two, a heart that's new.
For in their love, we find our own,
A reflection of the magic, that's forever sown.

Enlightening Love

When the eclipse of Sun darkens entire universe,
The drought-infested soil waits for tender shower.
Love comes, delivers it from that dreadful curse,
Pouring its enlightening shower from holy bower.

All pains, struggles, sufferings seem non-existent
When there is love, when there is love’s presence.
After eclipse, sun appears brighter, clear, content.
After stings of Dark, Love brings a luminescence.

The lamp of love enlightens interiors of the heart
Where vermin try to eat up the veins of morality.
Love renews the heart by clearing the fallen dirt,
Awakens drowsy world with trumpet of equality.

Bring You Life

Take a walk with me, in the darkest place.
A home I've been living alone,
but you had come in this decrypted hole,
Something I had always known.

Here, near the dead,
The fog at its heaviest,
you came through the gate as if you had been here before.
Yet, you never realized who you have woken up.

Your heart, mind, and soul seem so lost.
Deep inside, you were completely broken.
Your cries arose me and I had to touch you somehow.

Feeling lifeless brought you here to me
and you didn't even know it
Why did you come here?
What exactly led you here at your lowest moment?

I will be the one to bring life back to you.
I want to be the one to make you live again.
