Serious Sibling Subluxation

Serious sibling subluxation...
rapprochement somewhat salvaged dislocation

Truth be told about following poem
mostly written quite some years ago,
and revisions made to recreate
and revise a more satisfactory literary product.

This trademark ungainly, unsightly,
and unwieldy title essentially
huzzah mask ***** aid,
(my humble apology NOT
to incite unwanted
and unwonted anger
among lgbtqia community),
and accentuates tendency
(mine) to administer
reverent unpretentious yawping,
sans (asper thy usual)

wordy, quirky, nutty, heady, easy...
and gallimaufry charade,
though pointed lament
decries copious blather,
which awareness (in tandem
with better devilishly cherubic angels)
prevail upon sesquipedalian
nippy nap noopy quirkiness, might be
in my best (in show)
interest to evade
leaving an unsuspecting

reader psychologically frayed,
and without doubt prematurely
finds same cyber surfer
harried and grayed,
styled akin to experience dramatic,
and sudden onset of progeria
hence, a concerted effort
will be orchestrated, i.e.made
so everyone involved woodwind
fur me (a hip cat) tabby
conscientiously choosing

meow me modus operandi
to mute trumpeting,
associated with this one man
faltering hit parade,
hence, an intent to write
swiftly tailored and more clearly,
cogently, and creditably
qua more understandable to invite,
subsequently witnessing, an
increased authorial fan
base, and unite

easy to comprehend
underlying intelligent conversation,
and/or share something trite,
anyway, thee impetus regarding
risking emailing a younger sister,
where repressed spite led
to dissolution, née cessation
of brotherly linkedin communication
engendered me to make right
egregious emotional estrangement,
principally vitiated, nursed,

generated, augmented
(thank you very much) by me,
viz in sum avoidance behavior
(traipsing, purring, loping,
humming, and doodling along) quite
familiarly, easily, (no matter
discontentedly), alas and alack
moment seemed apropos
for this only bro
their to allow, enable,

and proffer selflessness -
pushing aside ego
(mine) and attempt to go
for the gusto hoe
embarking, kickstarting, and
resolving upon reasonable resolutions
to convey persevere re-establishing
cordiality, despite misgivings
toward Shari Todd
thee family member in question.

Premium Member Far Beyond Hereafter Part Three

The other members of the group would tease Lambent Shroud.
They’d speak in groans n puns too.
You’d sense lambent was a little uncomfortable with it all.
The other members of this amazing group were all tall, had numerous quirks, and spoke with crystal clear clarity.
They stood out even when alone.
Their high IQ, articulacy, and physical presence were obvious requirements for this enterprise.
They were constantly with each other hatching plans.
But Lambent may have had a begrudging “one who leads” complex.

But was the cordiality apparent and only for appearances?
Team leader Renee is Hazy and Albert is Rainbow.
The brain sessions were more often than not impromptu.
Hazy, Halcyon and Amber would seem like cerebral archers the way they bounced informal sessions off each other.
The other pairs, bright spark subgroups would have these on the spot conventions.
“Sparks would fly.
High IQ flashes sky high.
We never ever say die.”
Eerie notion, pie in the sky.”
The smart seven chipping in one by one generating a certain heat.
Even fleeting cabals.
Their brain cliques they nicknamed “Bouncers,”
Or “Pools.”
“Blessing and a boon. Under a shimmering moon. You’ll be lifting trophies soon.”
Lambent the awkward rhymer.
Wonder world had a strained crease on his face.
“Crackpot scheme, halbaked dream, eccentric team.”
In reply.
And so the banter used to go until someone ran out of ripostes.
There were daily meetings also on security updates devised by the team.
But there was much nod and wink, subterfuge.
Amber Leaf the accountant controlled the cash flow, dividends, “watertight insurance,” wages, general outlay.
But one got the impression that there was something afoot.
Amber and sylvan nudged;
“Should we rhyme as we speak or maybe tweak til next week.
Isn’t Lambent leaning a lot on his Shadow.
The Alter Ego.”
Who is this Shadow to begin with Amber asked?

ghosts …

peek every corner
these walls were the vessel of a family -
the body of a progenic spirit that
inhabited these bones of wood and
plaster and glass … and hope
for nearly four tens of years …
a blood of intent and care
coursed these walls -
surging with amity and loving instruction
it’s familial marrow warmed by two
happy and humble hearts that
thrummed sweet for all who tumbled
weary across its threshold
or saw its welcoming glimmer in
the depths of night
heralding them home …
these doors, now shut and silent,
once spread their arms wide in consanguinity
embracing each soul as their own
and whispering every ear
with cordiality … and accommodation
but …
just as our flesh is the repository of
the incorporeal -
the true essence of what defines
each of us
and carries on long after the
bones and body have come to dust,
so is this beloved structure but a shell …
the hearts that found comfort here -
that sang and wept and worked …
that spun their dreams and mended wounds …
that loved and laughed and argued …
that shared pain and lauded joys …
that buoyed life and railed at death
and ever found kindness to be their preferred enterprise …
those pulses will go on
long after this abode has come to ruination
for these rooms and roofs and ramparts
are but a house
yet the spirits that once moved here -
that found joy in one-another -
THEY were the true home
and those divine beings we carry
with us always
bound by the only force that
transcends time …

love.

The Epoch, the Epopee, the Eternity

When a precedent-busting pandemic is palling around the world
when its concomitant panic and pain freak out
it is your fine figures that are unflinchingly unfurled
e'en as proctective gears barely eke out.

Isolation wards owe you diligence and devotion
ICU hours witness your will and willingness in motion
solely concerned with failing lives' fate
you move heaven and earth against time
to wrest back the critical at Hade's gate
with your own forgotten at the sacrificial sublime.

Head o'er heels covered in colors cold
still you keep your hearts of gold
wherefrom bright hue beams
warm love streams
care and cordiality swathing afflicted lands
bundling up every bedside in blessing bands.

Sweat sieging forehead, you have smile snuggle both eyes
fatigue ravaging physique, you have patience station personalities.

Tandem consistency synchronizes and synthesizes
Hippocratic oath and your practice
kneading them into such an integrated tenacity
that the snaggiest terrestrial tmesis cannot tear apart;

Kindred fitness harmonizes and homogenizes
Asclepius' staff and your hands
melting them into such an uncanny continuum
that the sharpest celestial kenning cannot tell apart.

How many grand writers' purple passages paled
and painting masters' soaring strokes flattened
as eminent ebullience of ekphrases encounters self-effacing eclipsers
you are the plainest messengers, the hope and healing disseminators
you are most colorful illuminators, the virtue and vitality vivifiers
Supreme entelechy of esthetics meets pluperfect interpreters.

Premium Member Have You Got a Light Please?

Fumbling for my lighter I saw you:
unlit cigarette awaiting illumination.
I smiled - appealing for enlightenment,
and you came to my rescue, igniting
my interest with a spark of ardour.

You struck the match that lit our love.
You struck the match that made our match!
Thoughts, dreams, hopes and plans kindled
in the embers of that moment, and smouldered....
then bursting into flame, lighting our darkness.

We built walls of assurance -
a sanctuary of hopeful anticipation.
We tended the garden of our desires, and
pruned the doubts and fears until they
withered and died with the failures of the past.

We invested our lives in the vows we made.
We committed to mutual commitment, and
took the tentative connubial steps toward
a future of togetherness - that was then -
then - when love was all we had - we promised......

....Our walls of affirmation still stand.
Our flames of longing still dance in the
moonlight and welcome the dawning of
a new day. Sun-rays of optimism appear
behind clouds of dissension and

in the garden blooms of assurance shower
us with petals of solidarity. We disagree,
but agree to differ, and sit together
on the fence called compromise to watch
the sun set on our disparity....cordiality restored.

We retire to the shelter of our home.
You pour the wine, I strike a match -
our hearts and hearth glow with confidence
as the fire takes hold. Fumbling for my lighter
you anticipate its loss ......and rescue me once more.

Premium Member Love's Last Wound

Friends?
Are we still friends?
Can we JUST be friends?!?
Oh such a horrid, charity-stained question!

What a keen and salient dagger it wields!
The pity that you wear like black lace finery,
Is as deadly and whetted a sword as any raised in battle ...
The patronizing look in your eyes presses on its hilt

With the agonizing weight of feigned cordiality,
To pierce the tender flesh of my hopes,
Deep and quick and precise.
Why ... why this last dose of bitter passion??

To ease your careless conscience?
All you've done is make the blade more jagged,
The wound more brutal and raw.
Now here I lay ...

Exhausted in spirit and sinews,
By what I now realize was lovemaking for clemency's sake ...
One last, tender moment to minimize the blow.
Shards of moonlight through the louvers,

Lay like broken pieces of porcelain on furrowed bedclothes,
As my passions bleed out at your feet,
Draining my heart of the realities
Of what I thought we had ...

What might have been, beyond friendship.
My love for you collects in a puddle of one-sided regrets,
And now this dreadful question makes all a travesty,
A mocking, cruel, pitiful farce ...

No, my love, I can NEVER be just ... your friend.

If I Were a Dictator-2

Not allow politics to pollute the populace
With issues like regionalism and language
Permit free movement of men and goods
Connect the country with tree-lined roads.

Deal ruthlessly with anti-national elements
Issue stern warning to all political animals
Mischief by them may attract prison cells
Or deport them to far off Siberian jungles.

Corruption eating away the vitals of nation
Shall be dealt with the deterrent castigation
Persuade the people to stay honest and just
Remain steadfast to the ideals from the start.

Would certainly encourage sports and games
Without discrimination between the sports
Not allow them to do things other than play
Push them to perform for the nation anyway.

Two areas namely agriculture and defense
Are important, I believe for fast furtherance
Linking science & technology for advance
And lead the state to grandiose deliverance.

Maintain cordiality with every other nation
Always upholding the dignity of my nation
Neither yielding nor bothering is my dictum
With pledge absolute to protect the sanctum.

Thus is my agenda for action instantaneous
To free the motherland from evils infectious
To hoist her on the pedestal vividly glorious
If by chance, I become the dictator gracious.

Just But a Moment

*JUST BUT A MOMENT*

What is life that we must be mindful of?
The moment of light and darkness is revealed as Day and Night
The break of Day brightens Our hearts.
We are held up high for the soon Approaching Darkness.
The very moment where the face of a loved one is hidden.

Our fears have gone far into the ocean of thought.
Our faith still hears the heart beat echoing in the dark room.
Seasons and times fade away with the smile
Making our vision limited to the present human understanding
What can we say when the moment is uncertain?

Life in its helmet needs protection.
The warmth and cordiality that exist between his brothers reveals life without end.
We are together, Just but a moment.
The moment where it seems you can, you must.
The delay and procrastination of our time is a tool of no return and therefore must be avoided
I live not because I can but because of the brother I have

The very moment of our existence can be segregated by the cruelty of similar beings.
What is life that we must be mindful of?
The imaginary clock tick-tock.
What should be done needs to be done
The moment unveils a precious soul to be saved
Do it as it is time because our existence is *Just But a Moment*.
