It's the Hope That Kills You

It’s the hope that kills you.

I don't wanna be there for you.
I don't wanna have to save you.
I don’t wanna be the one you need,
Because I will only ever hurt you.

I want you to be strong for you.
I want you to be ok.
I want you to be able to get by fine without me,
Because we both know I’m not here to stay.

Stuck to you, so you think you can’t leave,
When I know you can because I have seen it in my worst dreams.
You were gone and I was deceived.
The story never changes, love is my disease.

I offer you a part time love.
It’s never going to always be good,
And one day you will eventually lose my trust,
Because my love is broken, and I am not enough.

My love is truth spoken in riddles.
I will gladly meet you in the middle,
But do not put all your hopes on me,
Because my love is only temporary.

If that is what you want and that choice feels right,
Then I will drop all I have to do this night,
And I will be with you before the morning sun.
Never stop believing in me and I will leave you stunned.

I will travel across this land to end up with you,
If that is what you need;
Because all I want to be,
Is whatever you need me to be.

I will be like the others, a false impression.
I will confess to you my reasons for the depression.
I will never learn my stupid lesson!
I will hurt you with my pain…
This is my confession.

Premium Member The Secret Place

I rise in the morningness
Driven by compassion till noonday's break
All that I know is that is that I'm forever blessed
In this my secret place
And as the day yet dawns
The son goes but yet to rise again I praise Him
In my mind
In this, this is
My Secret place
I give praise as I go to the sanctuary to the proverbs of my mind
a secret place
No not ashamed for I will always speak
As the Lord calls and places His lips on my cheek
His name but I confess Jesus
My savior my blessedness
But just right now I solemn in
The Secret place
In Christ Jesus there is no shame
In Him I'm born again
In this, this is
My Secret place
I give praise as I go to the sanctuary to the proverbs of my mind
a secret place
I give praise as I go to the sanctuary to the proverbs of my mind
A secret place
No not ashamed for I will always speak
As the Lord calls and places His lips on my cheek
And as the day yet dawns
The son goes but yet to rise again I praise Him
In my mind
In this, this is
My Secret place

Premium Member Ponder

I must confess. Some things I ponder.
I am acutely aware of God's wonders;
Yet, often I stagger at the sound of thunder.
I must be wise as I ponder lest I should blonder.

In all things, God is most pure and ever sure.
I understand that some things we must endure.
I understand God's beautiful 'Balance of Nature'.
Yet I, often act and sound nieve and immature.

Why was he there?
What did she want?
He is not homeless;
But she lies at my entry.

I know that he too has purpose;
Purpose assigned to her by God.
Yes, I realize that we must coexist,
But we do not have to be friends.

I have seen 5 of them in 4 years.
I try my hardest not to be paranoid.
In addition to other preventive measures,
I have created within me a mental plan.

I consider snakes both armed and dangerous.
Therefore, they will never be welcomed by me.
My best weapon is prayer for God's protection.
My next best weapon is my 'Awareness Program'

Premium Member I That I Am-

"I am I that I am patient and caring
I Wonder If heaven,is before me
 I hear Whispers of love I see all humanity at peace embracing arms
 I want longevity of physical and spiritual life
 I am patient and caring I pretend I am strong and tall
As I feel voices I see heavenly hearts
I worry about death and not being with God and Jesus
 I cry because I'm physically alone
 I am strong and tall I understand every knee shall bow all tongue shall confess
 Jesus
I see anyone, yes everyone can be saved
It's, it's their choice
 I dream my earthly father coming back to us
I try to write the words from my spirits heart daily
 I hope to see Jesus come back parting the skies
Descending
 I am every knee shall bow all tongue shall confess
 Jesus"

Premium Member Overcoming Discouragement

Inevitable; that's me, simply called discouragement...
Oppressive is my nature; you should be warned
I attack everyone; yet I'm exempting you:
Yes, you who are now despondent, broken-hearted
Frustrated, and about to quit!

Are you aware of my presence?
Can you hear my mocking, taunting reproach???
I'm challenging you, dear believer of God...
You who have been testifying of your steadfast faith
To face me; and prevail over my misery-grants!

Oh, come on... rise up and meet me!!!
Where's your courage? I see no valiant spirit...
Just sighing in despair, murmur of complaints
Loser, I leave you, wallowing in your guilt
I'll trample you midst pity-party sessions.

~~~~~~~
Do I hear you praying unto the Lord?
May I congratulate you then...
You're now moving toward championship
Actually, smiting me is never impossible
Vanquishing me is easy when you trust in God.
Since you're stirred-up* and fired-up against me
Place yourself in the right position to thank your Creator
A heart of gratitude blocks my entrance I confess...
Did you get me! Is manifesting thanksgiving difficult?
Sure it is if you remain to be selfish, arrogant, discontented.
With worshipful heart, keep cheering yourself
Remember David** in the Scriptures who encouraged himself?
Well, you should; thus, abide in the infallible Word of God
Thru that, you'll be enabled, empowered, emboldened
Ready to exalt God, and to minister to others with love.
Unbeatable!!! Yes, that's you, child of God whom He upholds
That's you, soldier of the Lord whom He guards
Indeed, that's you seeking Him with His grace
Sure, that's you humbly yielding to His power
Fighting me, discouragement, with the Sword of the Spirit triumphantly.
*2Timothy 1:6-7 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
**1Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed;...but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
Premium Member The fire
II control my rage.
To this age.
I feel the fire.
I deflect it from becoming my desire.
Refuse to let the heat get higher.
No one seems to see.
The emotions that are rocking me.
I make peace, my way.
Let it guide my day
On my face will stay a smile
All the while
I control the desire.
To be the fire.
Yet the words of peace I speak.
Doesn't make me weak.
They steady the war drum that is my heart.
Keeps the rage and me apart.
Made it a habit to be kind.
I find.
Make my first reaction.
Not one of action.
I choose kindness over hate
I have seen the results of that fate.
A kind word spoken.
Hope the rage won't be awoken.
I control the beast within me.
But at times I embrace it, and set it free.
If the situation calls for fire.
I'll light that desire.
If words of peace strike. deaf ears.
I let go of my fears.
Release the rage.
You will want to turn that page.
I don't let it get to that stage.
Keep peace in my heart.
Kind word is how the conversation will start.
You will never know.
Because I will never show.
The crazy that I process.
I confess.
I sit here calm and collected.
Because it's kindness I have selected.
Emotions are tools
Hate is for fools
May love guide your way.
Keeps you calm through the day.
I seldom set that fire free.
So no one can see.
The flame that burns in me.
Premium Member Scarlet Letters
She wore the scarlet letter
On her chest for all to see
She was a fallen woman
Accused of adultery
She wore that cursed letter
Emblazoned there on her chest
It proved to the world around
She was less than all the rest
In her arms she held her child
The sweet fruit of her disgrace
A product of her passion
Spoilt, but with an angel face
He kept safe in the shadows
A tortured tormented soul
He longed to be united...
To be with them and be whole
She looked down when she passed him
Their secret buried inside
For he was the town’s young priest
To no one could she confide
That letter stood to witness
It convicted her of shame
She was a sordid woman
SHE was to carry the blame
We all have scarlet letters
Unseen to the human eye
If not an A, some other
To deny this is a lie
We all are fallen sinners
Yet unwilling to confess
We act holy and righteous
Our hearts are a wretched mess
Lust, gluttony and envy
Greed, violence, hate and more
Are safely all tucked away
They hide behind the closed door
You may think you are sinless
Others your guilt may not see
Yet a voice in you whispers...
"That scarlet woman is me!"
God sees the scarlet letters
That mark each and every one
He covers us with His robe
The righteousness of His SON
So do not feel dejected
Nor hang your head in disgrace
He sees and loves each sinner
Let His grace light up your face.
Love’s Confession
I confess, I’ve loved you all of my life
And I confess you’re too good to be my wife
I also confess, I think of you all day
And I suppose you know the words I want to say
Guilty as charged my eyes never wander
Weak as can be. You protect me from thunder
The first time we spoke I couldn’t fool you
Read me like a book, cos that’s what you do
I admit, I’m a child sometimes five years old
Though I’d cut off my skin for you if you're cold
I trust you with my most vulnerable thoughts and fears
Yet you are still a mystery after all of these years
I’m mentally weak, my hearts on my sleeve
But whatever I do, you encourage and believe
Yo!Dr....
Dearest Dragon I must confess
I think you’re the snake who’s in my dress
Didn’t you ask if I wanted to play?
;Didn’t you think it could be ‘this way’...?
Giving it a go I’m giving it game
To feel you slither along my spine
and all I want is to come aLong
while you slither into me
with your hidden rhyme
So Dearest Dragon
do let me confess
I like the way
you feel in my dress…
Your motion is slow and slightly cold
Gentle rough touch of your skin is gold
Muscles contract as I feel your tongue
Slide into me, the whisper of… “Soon…”
Reaching deep I can feel you tHere
Push of desire is the Dragon’s dare…
You came from behind, and I saw you there…
Kundalini... Dragon, do you hear?
Premium Member We Have Questions For You
We have questions for you.
Turn the recorder on they do.
A man sits there with a calm menace in his stare.
You're going down don't you know?
You better tell us what you know.
Speak now and confess to the crimes you've committed in there.
Blank stare they receive. No fear, sat at ease.
A number spills from the man, a rank and name follow on as he observes the shackles holding him there.
Don't give us this sh#t, we've just had enough if it. You shot them all and then tried to get away.
A knock at the door they receive. A superior asks the detective to leave and follow him down the corridor to the stairs.
There is a man in my room. He's here to confirm that we cannot hold this person any longer in there.
He killed 6 sir you know? Shot them at close range, I just can't let him go!
That's a murderer sitting in there!
Terrorists in a cell, too close to unleashing hell....it's been confirmed. Stopped by Special Forces. This is now not our concern.
That's no criminal in your hold, that's a state weapon you've got in there.
Give him back his gun and do it without any further questions - just do it right away.
Take the 'cuffs off of him and escort them both out of this building - just get them away.
But??? Sir????
No more talk DS Reed, let him go if you please and for the sake of your family......be f@#king thankful he was there.
