Premium Member Fabric Store Run By Werewolf

Why is that bolt of fabric bolted to the ground?
I did not realize the guy was a werewolf until he turned around.
I wanted to bolt, but I had to be politically correct, right?
His teeth were enormous; they gave me a Halloween fright.

"It’s got witches on it, they come alive," he growled toward me.
His two canine teeth were gleaming bound to rubber bands I could see.
I wanted to bolt now, but I stood my ground and asked innocently
“How do witches come alive from material, if you please?”

He said let me get a bit of dust out of the way my dear.
When the dust flies in the air as I dust, it will become clear.
He took a feathered duster from the pocket of his duster.
They floated into the air and spelled “Muster Cluster Buster.”

This told me nothing, but I wanted to bolt nevertheless.
Werewolves are storms I do not want to weather, no matter how pure.
I weathered away quietly, as you may have guessed.
That’s the last time I will go into that fabric store for sure.

When I Look At You

When I look at you

By morning’s light
I see so many
Wondrous things
Before my eyes

A rising sun
Of golden glow
On amber clouds
In early skies

A morning glory
Waking up
To greet the day
In shades of blue

A breeze now swaying
Through the leaves
An emerald lawn
Of glistened dew

A butterfly
In happy flight
Enjoying nectar
Fresh and free

A robin tending
To her young
A squirrel
And a bumble bee

Of all the things
That I may see
Which come alive
My morning view

My favorite site
Will always be
The beauty when
I look at you

The Moon

Moonlit skies light up my face
as I sit here in this place
surrounded by the music of the creatures of the night

The crickets chirp their peaceful song
the river runs quietly along
as if they are in a dance together with themselves.

The moon seems to hold my dreams
within itself or so it seems,
until I see the stars brighten and light up in the night sky.

Gazing into them I am filled with wonder
hearing a sound like roaring thunder
Yet no clouds block my view in this glorious night.

But yet a voice comes so sweet and tender
and propels me willingly to surrender
to the dreams and hopes that feel my heart and mind.

It's almost like sunshine springing out through rain
it takes away all of life's pain
and makes dreaming a dream something real.

To feel your heart come alive within you
to know that there is a big breakthrough
in all that you ever dreamt your life could become.

It's worth hanging your dreams on the moon,
to feel such warmth, like a well-played tune
strumming on the strings of the deepest part of your spirit.

Like the flowers blooming in the meadow
the dreams began to open and flow
and I begin to my own song that goes along with the night.

A reflection of light from the moon on my face
made me think of dreams and embrace
the love that is within a voice, a song, a night.

Hills come alive with sweet sounds of birds whistling tunes
Filled with harmonious peace, you sail within time
Gentle whispering winds through branches of trees call

When you dare to take the first step forward
Everything feels so easy embracing such beauty
Mixing voices of nature talk deeply flowering

Thrown into the unknown life is truly magical
A universe inside feelings explode in one gift
The soul eclipsing delight warmed with sunshine rays

Like a virgin being on guard of the tiger claws, lions, bears and snakes
Only when your starlight kisses clouds evaporate
Time continues and the butterfly waltzes freely once more

Crossing paths in this journey new beginnings grow
Small wild strawberries threaded upon a stem beg to taste
Opening one gateway within thoughts

Setting sail into another world beyond
With you salt of the ocean waves rise and fall
Upon rocks kissing pillar of strength

A cool breeze says goodbye upon your cheek
Loving spices land this boat on paradise sands where gold sparkles warm beams
When we meet at Heaven's gate batting lashes close entering a doorway into a dream

A Daughters Promise

I promise I would be a good girl when I go out into the world, I promise to stay out of trouble and return home in a hurry. I promised never to play in the street or walk barefoot, I promise I would stay in school and complete the semester and when the climate changed, I promise to graduate and study at the university.

It’s seems like yesterday when I utter such word when I was at play. I was thirteen and you were thirty-three and I always looked up to thee. You have always encouraged me to hold my head high and never look into ground that hold the dust of shame to its core, and the molten lava spewing through the hole and entering the spot where the disgraced soldier, conceptualize the plot.

I can still hear those words ringing in my ears as I walk the path that everyone fears, it is the moment of truth that is embedded in my youth and the ordeal I encountered on life’s journey comes back to remind me.

I could tell from the start that you are a heart breaker and the season come to remind me that the fault is within me and love is my destiny; when the autumn is done and winter comes along and the snow starts falling, it will fill the lakes and the trees, the ocean and sea and you will come and dance with me.

We will do the river dance on the roof and do the fire dance in a circle, then we will roll in the snow and touch each other dignity, and Boston and Richmond will come alive, Baltimore and Washington DC will take the dive, but New York and Philadelphia will ride out the snowstorm.

It seems like yesterday the climate changed and the clouds start fading away. I stood on those very steps and recited the whole chapter, I stood on that step and grasp every living character, I remember how you cast your eyeballs at me and how the mountain shook beneath the sea when you said, “will you marry me?”

“I am only thirteen, “she said, and I cannot lie in that big bed, “Yes I will marry you,” she replied, she held breath for a while and look on every side and you were still standing looking at her; then a gust of wind came, and you suddenly disappeared, and I stood on the step gazing at the wind.

The daughter's promise was fulfilled, and they walk boldly up the hill after thirty-three years in the making the universe had their blessing, the evidence is in the wind and you can hear it when you are still, winter is chiming in.

A David For David

This is a dedication to David Williams
for his indomitable courage
and goodness of heart.

Michelangelo's hands created
the immortal David:
a young and handsome man
so masculine and vibrant...
as he it looks straight at us
desiring to join the Human Race!

Did a real person pose
for the Master? Was he one
of his scholars? We wouldn't know,
unless he himself spoke!
Alone as a stone stoke by sunlight,
his muscular body stands out...
were all men in that brilliant age
as strong as he was?

We stare at this amazing statue,
and ask ourselves why he looks too real;
did Michelangelo, overwhelmed by incredibility,
strike him with his chisel and said, " Come alive? "

We wonder and doubt if this ever
crossed his genius mind
in a moment of madness!
Most certainly, Michelangelo
carved him out of a fine marble
to reminisce his youth
lived as a boy such as David...
but is truth a fact that can be denied?

Premium Member Thank You, Autumn

Our light garments will soon be shed
Because old man winter is just ahead.

You are awesome, colorful, and filled with inspiration.
Your very atmosphere breves and embraces anticipation.

Ah, Autumn, thank you for the lessons of celebration.
Yours is a season when gratitude fills our conversations.

Ah, Autumn, just look at you;
So often with little else to do.

When you arrive, we come alive with activity.
Something jolly fills us with desires of generosity.

You look at me with your poetic eyes,
as if to say, "I've got tons of surprises,

among which are blowing leaves released from trees.
But there's so much more for you in store".

You are suspended in the land of harvest and festivity,
A treasured season, the heart and soul of our life's reality.

We are pleased that the heat is gone and the cold awaits.
That life thrives in you, there's no question, no debate.

We change our clocks to get more of your awesome light.
You penetrate souls with myriads of Autumn delights.

AWAKE ~ IN and OUT ~

Spring arising, before morning light,
I walk under the new epic sun
The aroma of yesterday, gone
Today's the day that will follow tomorrow
I quickly walk a certain walk
Unique is all I can display
Watery eyes staying in the past
While vehicles pass and pass
Crosses lacking faith
I stay awake and mend with my fate
Foggy toys, I want to play
I can't keep up with all your kicks
I look, I stare, at the walls
Bright and early, I step on old dolls
I stay and feel, the way you want
Lifeless, and still so full of energy
Mad words, unconscious forces
My sweet needs, now reside inside of you
Mad, sad, and outside the box
You close every door and keep me away from dark

You only allow me to feel your morning light
Why can't you let me see what's behind the shadows?
Why do you turn on all the lights?

I'm here the way you want me to be
Happy, and merry, for the world to see
This blindness will continue to spot
Unless you wake up first and remove the dot
You gave me the thirst, you once knew
So filthy, so full of -spew
Under this closed freaking door
I'm exposed like the midday sun
You bang my head on the wall,
You killed me in a way that made me feel!
I only answer to your call
In and out a hoop~ like a ball
In me, you can not find any real dreams!
Inside you filled me with a raging scream

Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I'm in wonder around your air castle
Strange and hung on your mantle
Stepping on a one footed slave

Alert, alert Am I!!!
I shake, we kiss, I wake,
You sleep...........................
I zip all things into one zipper.
Pounding my hands against my ears
Crazy, taking a jab upon all jabs
Crazy, you say~ that's me everyday
I'm up and I caress the photo we once had
I lay only staring at you once more
I awake before I sleep
Your promises I keep
In me~ you are also in deep
My stars change everyday
Waiting for you, to pull the trigger
Still wishing to be a sun digger

You can't touch or loosen the knots
Together we will daydream our way to the top
I make your nerve system come alive,
We run into the wind and listen
Quietly in our chamber of thoughts
Near and far, we both nod off
In this daily race, with no face
No space,
I caught myself awake,
The day I fell asleep for you.

TO BE ALIVE

There once was a man from Galilee, and
A woman needing water from a well
She seemed transparent as you and me
He filled her soul with spice of truth as well
We breathe one breath.

Oh for the love of seeing
Even the dark of night holds glory
Drab of day finds the clearing
Stars one by one tells a story
We are star dust.

The whole world waited for a Savior
Even the wind and waves would obey
One gift as gift was favor
Would you throw it all away?
Which way leads home?

We will come alive where freedom reigns
And emptiness is replaced by light weightiness
And truth is embraced like a long lost gem.

October Poem

I never said I was an angel,
just someone finding their way.
Making the most of my time
to embrace every moment of everyday.

With broken wings and a resident soul
I thrive best when I am in a state of flow.

Where shadows mix with morning light.
It’s showing up for myself in the story called
My life’s what makes things right.

I never said I was an angel,
Just someone who refuses to fall
You thought you would see me crumble
But I’ve broke through every wall.

Don’t place me on a pedestal I never ‘asked for your
Permission, I wear my scars like battle armor.

You wanted me to play small, but I was made to come alive.
Like a warrior with broken halo who values peace of mind.

I shall glow as I grow behold a crown of Devine design.
