Music comforts the soul, cures that restless spirit.
Some songs will make you crank up the volume so everyone can hear it....
Music can alter moods, and talk to you.
Some songs have the remedy for what you're going through....
Music is good medicine for a broken heart,
and yet some songs can turn around and tear it apart....Music has brought people all
around the world together;
And some melodies will keep playing on forever....
Music adds to the intensity of making love.
Fuels that fire, you can't seem to get enough of....
Music makes me sad, glad, happy and mad.
Some songs make me pick up a pen and pad....
Music makes me wanna pull a woman close, kiss her nose, remove her clothes,
suck her toes,
And with Janet Jackson still singing "That's the Way Love Goes;"
Me and her make our own music video until her sweet nectar overflows!!!!!
Note: To my fav. soupers, I don't know your preferred genre of music and sometimes age
plays a huge role in a persons tastes in music. Since I don't know everyone's age, I'm going
by gut feeling and the personalities I read on my comments and my soupmail. If you guys
download music; I've written one song for the following people. A song from me to you, so
to speak. Be open minded and listen to the whole song. Enjoy. #1 Marty "Devil Woman" by

The great Elvis Presley stole the show
When it came to music, fast and slow
Patsy Cline could sing so sweet and fine
Without a doubt, her voice would shine
Hank Williams had a son with his name
Like father, like son – they claimed fame
Ray Charles played despite being blind
His listeners knew he was one of a kind
Aretha Franklin had a voice of pure gold
It was certain that her records were sold
Jimi Hendrix’s music would travel the world
As his listeners swayed, twirled and swirled
Elvis said Orbison was the world’s greatest singer
With a three-octave voice, his voice would linger
With Ring of Fire, Johnny Cash became world renown
His vocals rebuilt faith in those who’d been beat down
Me and Bobby McGee made this lady legendary
Janis Joplin was a soul who was far from ordinary
Diana Ross played for those who loved to hear her
With a voice like an angel, she made the soul purr
Cher demonstrated what it means to believe in yourself
With confidence and guts, she’ll never be put on a shelf
Stevie Wonder made the heart feel like it has been blessed
Without a doubt, he stirred feelings the heart would attest
The Beatles, the Rolling Stones and so many other singers
Knew the meaning of giving the 60’s its assembly of swingers
I hear he's a wimner Poetry Contest

Sentenced To Live,Licenced To Give
Chariot of horse, clarion with hoarse, bastion of choice.
I project aboard,my walk in life about.
On the abrasive of craft,by the shaft of the tool of want,
I decipher the yields of the fields.
Aesthetics and complexities;my work will wodge a lodge
to harness. This legacy, these messages variegate my
desires to attune in aspire.
Sentenced to live, then I reason death to poison.
The umbrella to shade the form, the aubriella conform affix.
Bounties of gain liken to effigies of main.
The course of drive my cause, the fuss of cline my force,
The joys of life my plot.
When I look upon the mountain of roam,to decibel my
fountain of goal-As a forethought:I cladded my mind in rock,
Later with my furnace of of prise,it melted into a rise of emission.
To give my flakes in resource,to lift my stakes in return,
To even on the pallet of balance my reward.
Licenced to give, coffers of valour belay the corners of colours
and honours.

Hey, Peyton, remember the time
When the snow was melted along with the rime?
When the sun was mild and the weather sublime?
We went out on picnic away from the dust and the grime.
We all took our hampers with fruit and some lime,
(I brought along some candy, bought out for a dime).
Momma packed some sandwiches with bacon which was prime,
And some very fine chutney of rosemary and thyme.
While my cousins and mom played charades and mime,
Off we both went for the grassy knoll to climb.
Our laughter peeled, tinkling like wood chime,
You were the prince, I was your heim.
Peyton, I remember that it was close to lunchtime,
I rode piggyback for no reason or rhyme.
You slipped of a sudden as you stepped on some slime,
We tumbled and rolled down the slippery 'cline.
I am sorry, dear Peyton, real sorry I 'm,
It was in fun, in those days of playtime.
I'd've done it again if there was another time,
For kid's to be prankish is never a crime!

My name is Charlie Munford
I am all Redneck, not a nerd
I have the gas sucking truck, big bald muddin' tires
I needed some money, so I sat my truck on fire
If you come over empty handed, no beer or snacks
Prepare for an old fashioned butt whippin' or you better make some tracks
Poor mannered guests make me mean
I am a legend in the Redneck community, they call me Niller Bean
I sleep among the empty beer cans and potato chip bags
I fall asleep staring at my Rebel flag
When I go grocery shopping, it is scratch and dent all the way
The discount food game I know how to play
I grab a bag of Fritos and crush them, then use a black marker and write crushed
on the outside
Every week I take the grocery store on my discount ride
I do these tactics where I can't be seen
I sign my credit card receipt as Niller Bean
People call me crazy, I am just misunderstood
If you get to know me, you will see, my intentions are good
Now I am Jammin' to some Patsy Cline
Women call me a pig, I prefer the term swine
A namesake for Virginia where she was born and raised
She became known as Patsy and we became amazed
Since she was young she wowed the folks with her distinctive voice
It seems that she was born to sing, she didn't have a choice
When she went walking after midnight she took us along
Filled us with heartbreak when she fell to pieces in a song
Patsy sang of guardian angels, and being crazy in love
How could she know that far too soon she'd be called above
She survived a car wreck and still she continued to sing
Such a shining star she was with all the joy she'd bring
Then it happened on a stormy night in sixty three
Her plane crashed with no survivors near Nashville,Tennessee
Patsy was but thirty one when she lost her life there
Still, she's been an inspiration to singers everywhere
Gone but not forgotten, she's one of the best we've known
In heaven's band she sings now and she doesn't sing alone!

Grandma
I miss grandma’s house after school, grandma’s house after church, grandma’s house after a long days work. I miss them because they remind me of my grandma. Lemonade, cookie jars, jeopardy, aloe plants, banana pudding, ice tea, patsy cline and diet coke etc. all have memories that make me think of my Grandma.
Grandma is always giving
Here take this pillow take some food “take what you want.”
She wants you to have it
She just wants you to be happy.
Are you hungry? Let me make you something.
I am not hungry grandma. I say.
Grandma says: Let me make you something anyway.
Straight to the point is her way
Stop chewing your nails stop eating so much chocolate
Your face is breaking out! No girl is going to like that!
She cries when we leave, and cries when we arrive
Tears of joy and sadness she cannot hide.
Three words that define her are
Self-less, supportive, and loving
Grandma is the rock in our family
I want to tell you
We love you!

STREET CRIES
I DONT SEE A WIFE IN MY NEAR FUTURE
TO BUSY BUILDING MY KIDS A FUTURE
FOCUS EMPIRE STATE OF MIND STREET CRIES
THEY SAY YOU ARE A PUNK IF YOU PUT YOUR HAND ON A WOMEN
SO WHAT DO YOU CALLED BEING PUNKED BY A WOMEN
I DONT WANT EITHER BEING COLD AS A DEEP FREEZER
CONFLICT LIKE STEAK AND A MEAT CLEAVER
THE WAR WE MAKE ISNT WORTH THE LOVE WE MAKE
I REPRESENT THE BLIND AS I WALK BY FAITH
ON THE IN CLINE DAY BY DAY
STILL I HAVE THIS PAIN THAT WONT GO AWAY
IS MY FATE NOT TO SEE YOUR FACE
NO MORE US LIGHTING UP THE PLACE
HOTEL SUITE WITH EXPENSIVE TASTE
I THOUGHT ME AND YOU WOULD RUN THIS RACE
INSTEAD ME AND YOU ARGUE AND I FEEL LIKE A DISGRACE
THAT DUDE JUST WAITING TO TAKE MY PLACE
I DONT HAVE TIME TO FUSS OR DEBATE
MY DESTINY IS CALLING ME AT A FAST PACE
I MUST ANSWER IT NO MATTER WITH IT TAKES
PLUS I RITHER LEAVE THEN SEE TEARS AND GRIEVE
KNOWING INSIDE MY HEART IT HURTS NO MATTER IF I STAY OR LEAVE
Friends humor and play me
(They know I'm chra-zee)
Patsy sings blue
God I miss you
So lone-lee now
Never knew how
without you to cope
Losing false hope
that keeps me stumbling
nowhere, I hear rumbling
and mumbling of wraiths
Fading blind faith...
Need your cozy croon
Your comforting tune
Your old fashioned song
Don't seem to belong
anywhere anymore
You ache to my core
Why be so cruel
Why leave this old fool
alone with his fears
after too many years
Why leave me behind
to fumble and find
that smile in the den
that wide joyful grin
Can't look long your way
I wrench back away
to wander the tomb
of one vacant room
one made up bed
Are you really dead...
Tell me what to do
to replace my lost you
how to turn off our light
and sleep alone tonight
"Crazy": Written by Willie Nelson and performed by the late Patsy Cline
*This poem got an N/A in the contest 'Any Poem #32'
Consider this title and all it's implications
for this is a sure word of testimony to God
this shows a great requirement of true faith
to believe in God's word, His divine sword
This is personally spoken with a message
one that points to a greater power
but this power is able to be true
being the creator who made an hour
There's a real conviction on display
for the statement of 'He will do'
shows real faith to follow forward
brings confidence to strike a blow
God can do great things for all peoples
but there must be a belief He can do so
be fervent in prayer hold on to His promises
then you'll be sure to strike a blow
Patsy Cline sings it so well
tells the gospel so ever in tune
brings good news to everyone
believe in God and fly over the moon
( This is based on Patsy Cline's great song " He will do for you what He has done for me")
