Premium Member Pool of Memories

I sink down in grief
drowning in a pool of memories
the bottom is covered in gems
each gem a precious moment in time
               I pick one up
joy makes me rise to the surface
               like a bubble
                   I pop
         when I reach the top
       because you're not there
               I sink again
                in despair
      the gems are so attractive
          so I pick up another
             rise to the top
                    pop
             and sink again
               and again
               and again
     so many wonderful memories
            a lifetimes worth
        I will always miss you
but the gems keep me going back
to dive into the pool of memories

Premium Member Men You Definitely Wouldn'T Want To Date Part 3

I once dated a weatherman
At first he had a sunny outlook…
He had our future all mapped out
But he suffered periods of deep depression so our relationship got rained off

I once dated an optician
He said he could see our future was together
But soon I stopped wearing rose tinted glasses ...
He was always smashed and making a spectacle of himself

I once dated a librarian
He claimed he was an open book
But I couldn’t cope with the periods of intense silence
So the writing was on the wall and I threw the book at him

I once dated a farmer
He ploughed straight into our relationship
But I discovered he was a muck spreader
And when he started playing the field I ditched him

I once dated a baker
He was very upper crust and well bred
But he couldn’t get his dough to rise
So I toasted his future and said goodbye

I once dated a hairdresser
He was very trim and didn’t have a hair out of place
But he was always making cutting comments
So I cut the relationship short

I once dated a doctor
He had a wonderful bedside manner and he made my temperature rise
But he became very cold and started injecting poison
I lost my ‘patient’s’ and got sick of him so I gave him the cold shoulder

I once dated a barman
He wore very attractive glasses
But he was always on the pull
So I gave him sort measures and 'called time' on our relationship

I once dated a retired policeman
He was an arresting sight
But when he took down his particulars
His truncheon was all floppy – so I bailed out

My Reflection

I serve my body day and night,
Breathing in and breathing out.
My skin’s pale and paper-thin,
People can see right through me.
I fill my lungs with nicotine
So I don’t have to stress ‘bout it.
If I had money and no sense
I'd use hard drugs and yellow pills.

Proteins, fats, and some carbs;
Four meals a day, and nothing helps.
My mom said when I was 16
That death looks better in coffins.

I've tried so hard to find something attractive in the mirrors,
All I see in my reflection’s lots of flaws and imperfections. Baby,
Turn off the lights and draw the blinds,
Touch my body, get me high.
I’ve been hiding from the eyes,
Now just hide it all inside.

I need someone to f*** me just
So I can prove i’m good enough.
In fact, it works, but who is up
For wasting that much of their time?
But when perverts online clicked "like”,
Shared, texted me and subscribed,
My ego reached new heights, and fell
When I stepped on the bathroom scale.

Influencers, pretty faces,
healthy food, and six-pack abs
On every screen, in p***, in ads,
the World Wide Web and dating apps

I've tried so hard to find something attractive in the mirrors,
All I see in my reflection’s lots of flaws and imperfections. Baby,
Turn off the lights and draw the blinds,
Touch my body, get me high.
I’ve been hiding from the eyes,
Now just hide it all inside.

Since I have no one to call mine,
I spend nights on my phone, so I
Get compliments and dirty “wows”
From strangers when they see my a***.
Since he said I don't turn him on,
I've really wondered what is wrong.
My skin cannot hide my bones,
And I can't get rid of these thoughts.

Premium Member The Man

Interesting,
        was the man staring
at a painting with great enthrallment, and
I went and stood beside him, curious.
He was attractive and very appealing,
and when he looked at me- I gave him my
     best come - hither look.
          Oh, he was captivating . . .
I wanted to say something interesting,
something very thought provoking ,
to entrap him in my allurement,
       but I just said hello . . .
I was rivited to him, intrigued.
He smiled, amused, interested,
then said, the painting was spellbinding.
Oh, so charming and fascinating, so
I tried to appear beguiling-
hoping he would take note of my beauty.
He invited me for café. (Oh that voice!)
           We had charisma and
our conversation was absorbing-
He was interesting and engrossing,
and I was compelled to touch his hand . . .
Oh, when did I become a seducer,
           with lust, passion and desire?
Interesting.

Our youth needed, and got a "Hero",in "The summer of 2014,15,16,17,and 18.Our youth needed and got jobs for those summers to help them fortify there dignity, and self esteem! The youths ages were 21 down to the age of 16. Our youth will grow to be good contributing American citizens with re-enforced dignity, and self esteem. Mayor Gregory Fischer realized that "Jobs" were hard to come by for our youth, and adults, and our teens:In the process of realizing that fact:"GOD opened "Mayor Gregory Fischer's creative, passionate, connected"EYE" ,to see job creation for our youth so that they could earn themselves some loot!We all realize that"Fate says we can't",and "and as we think on our destiny then we realize that "Destiny says we can"! Destiny speaks to every woman ,child ,boy ,girl and any man! Mayor Gregory Fischer became a "Hero",because he said: I Can! Fate said that there are no jobs to be found for our youth, but "Destiny" stepped right in,and spoke up and said that that is not the truth, and we are going to create jobs for our youth! Destiny said that we have a "Great Mayor",and his name is "Gregory Fischer". He has a "Creative Eye",and he will create jobs for our youth from twenty-one down to the age of sixteen,so they may gain dignity,,and self esteem. In 2014 Louisville,Kentucky's Mayor Gregory Fischer, with the creative eye created 2000 jobs for our youth, and that can earn them some loot, and be dignified to boot! The youth are going on their ways to do good work in "Possibility City" to make it inviting, attractive, and pretty! Mayor "Gregory Fischer" has surpassed all who have created jobs for the summer for our youth: that makes him a "Hero"in creating summer jobs!!! Our youth will earn some loot, and be dignified to boot!!!

A Gold Amidst All

Winter's quality can by no means merge with my love,
Elating the stigmas, freshing the trees but stay not long.
Graced with illumination, concordance with the sun,
In-turn in fury, scorching it,the sun made it mourn.

Venus and Erato,dearly a pair,
Drenched in beauty, chastising the apples, made heart fear.
Nature would not agree to bear them thither,
Hence, their beauty merely in fallacy shelter.

Thriving through ages is her fiend,
Tuned like a dirge, partly to her as friend.
Age, though enticing a-dazed with wits,
Tarry so long that ills meets her on the seat.

But my love, attractive, splendid though not consistent like ruth,
Drowning me in love, graced in diligence is Youth.

Two-Piece Or Not Two-Piece

"All a man wants, is a girl who looks good in a bikini," - Jack Freestone

TWO-PIECE OR NOT TWO-PIECE

“All a man wants,” said a chauvinist Aussie,
“Is a girl who looks good in a two-piece cossie.”
But the sort of girl that I like best
Is one who looks good in an IQ test.

Whilst long legs and cleavage are very attractive,
I much prefer a mind that it active
A beautiful body is pleasant enough,
But I need assistance with crosswords and stuff.

Of course, if pressed, I would have to admit
That over the years I’ve matured a bit.
Back in the day I might have been frisky
But, at eighty-five, it is far too risky

Struggling For Exception

In the 8th grade, I realized something
I was overweight
Fat
And in my eyes unattractive
So I started starving myself
Me a 13-year-old starving so that I could be skinny
Pretty
Successful
Loved
That's what I assumed you needed
I thought that wearing a size 18 in dresses was a disgrace
I felt disgusting
I felt like nobody would ever love me
Because of I overweight
When I hit my freshman year in high school I had dropped two dress sizes
And joined choir not only for my love of singing
But because I knew singing for an hour would bring you down 100 calories
And that dancing would bring you down more
I was losing weight I was happy
But felt weak feeling dizzy from the lack of food in my system
Sophomore year of high school I was passing out
And having bad stomach pains
But I continued
Because my efforts got me a boyfriend
And I went down 3-4 dress sizes
Things were great but I was not skinny enough
By my senior year of high school, I was a size 9 in pants
Feeling weak dizzy sick and unloved
I continued and struggle to this day
I want to love my body
I want to love myself
As much as others have said they loved me
But it's hard because I am surrounded by beautiful women
All of varying sizes big and small but the media tells me small is what I should be
To be attractive to be successful to be loved
I fight now against a habit I have had for years
Finally willing to give it up
Because I know that its what is on the inside that counts
Not whats on the outside
And if someone judges you on your looks before getting to know you
You don't need them anyway
We are all beautiful in our own way
We as a population just need to realize that

Forgive Me

Forgive my ignorance
But I will state some facts
I hope you will correct me though
Since we met
We knew little of one another
I even didn’t think I could win your heart due to my joblessness
To be Frank not many women want to be associated with a failure like me
Infact leaving me might be one of the best decisions you ever made in life
Today yes I regret much
Yes I wish I handled things differently
Yes sijui if I can ever face your parents again
But I got a laughable idea
Yes there are many women out there
Most are beautiful maybe even than you
Most are also even endowed with earthly resources
Also some may seem attractive to me as well
But God didn’t choose you for me when He brought us together not knowing this
Yes out there
You have met many men
Majority are mature not like me
Many can drive not armature like me
Others got big dreams and careers like school dropout and small minded like me
To be Frank I got nothing I can mention for you to come back in my arms
Yes maybe you regret making a son with me
Yes maybe am the joke of the year
Yes maybe I even will never meet your requirements as a man
Besides who am I even to ask you back
Grace it’s okay you have moved on
But am the best you can share a secret with
Noone else knows your family as well as I do
Noone knows my family as well as you do
Yes you got your life to live
And me to got mine
But in the middle of all this we got a son
He needs me as much as he needs his mom
Well it’s easy for me to sacrifice my relationships as not much will be list
On your end sijui your decision
But I have decided to be involved in the day to day life of our son
You to have your choice
......
I am aware of the hate between our 2 families
Am aware that it may never be easy
For us to bring trust to them
But this time am willing to ensure I rebuild you back her
I want to hold your hand as we seek for God’s guidance on this journey of forgiveness
If I asked for a date this is the basis I would lay down for you
Hold my hand as we seek reconciliation both at my family level and at your family level
This is not to bring us together once more
But to ensure our own son grows up knowing peace and love
But if I do see you again in my bed let it be as my wife filled with love

*Please judge me not with harsh words but give me a chance to explain my stand*
