Premium Member Mister Death and Grim Reaper verses

When I saw the Grim Reaper
pull out his peeper and pee on the patio,
I yelled, "Hey Jack!
Can't you use the facilities out back?
That's what normal people do, you know.

I always said I wasn't afraid of death,
till one night, Death tried to rob me of my breath.
And as I was gasping for air,
he said with a cold, penetrating stare,
"Next time they ask if you're afraid of death,
just say 'Yesth.'"
I came to this hospice to die.
I see Mister Death standing by.
He's consulting a note.
I thought he did everything by rote.
What’s with that quizzical look in his eye?

When Mister Death had me firmly in his grip,
I pleaded, "Sir, can we please make this a round trip?"
He said, "I'm sorry to say,
this trip is only one way.
But we do serve drinks, and chicken wings,
with a delectable ranch dip."
When it got to be close to seven,
we were still a half-light year away from heaven.
I said, "Mister death, one question more.
When will we get to heaven's door?"
"Oh, not till tomorrow morning, Sir,
about a quarter past eleven.

When I reach the pearly gates with the grim reaper as my guide,
I hope the question of whether I get heaven or hell is only for Jesus to decide.
Because if Peter is allowed his opinion, and then that apostle Paul,
I don't think I stand much of a chance at all.
When we got to heaven, Saint Peter said,
“Hurry in, quick, so I can shut the door ~
you were being closely followed by the Babylonian whore.
And if she were to get in,
God only knows what trouble I'd be in.
Heaven would never again be the same as before.”

To folks staring at a screen in a brightly lit room,
I said, "I have arrived in heaven, right, I presume?"
"Yes, yes," they replied, my soon-to-be heavenly friends.
“But until this gosh darn epidemic ends,
there's no other way to do heaven but by Zoom.”
Heaven is not at all what I expected.
It’s hell to be stuck in a place with the boring elected.
They do nothing but this goody-goody-two-shoe stuff!
Believe me, after half an eon, I’ve had just about enough.
Oh, where’s the escape button? I wanna be ejected.

The end

Premium Member A Prayer For Jubilee This All Hallows Eve

God, the children are dressed as wizards and their parents as witches,
A spirit of lighthearted harmony marks our steps as we walk,
And sinister ghouls and goblins are the subject of jovial talk,
And that is a beauty that I wouldn’t trade,
My daughter trick or treating with the other kids her age,
But God you and I know what day this really is,
It is the eve of all saints day or All Hallows Eve,
The night before we celebrate the saints that have gone before,
The night before we celebrate the joy that’s in store,
When we are reunited with loved ones in the great mystery,
And we feel the comfort of being known and knowing as we see,
The saints of old from ages past embrace us with a kiss,
And we repast, in everlast of things from life we’ll never miss,
Today is the Eve of All Saints Day when we celebrate in awe,
Elijah and Elisha, Yogananda, and the Apostle Paul,
And so dear Lord I pray this prayer on this ever so sacred eve,
For the many suffering souls around me who are craving a reprieve,
A reprieve from misery relentless on this All Hallows Eve,
God so many people around me are hurting and wish for death,
And their lives are so miserable they can scarcely tell,
That there is no such as eternal hell,
And most of these people to me at least do not deserve what they feel,
And people keep treating them so badly it is impossible for them to heal,
God bye and large these people owe no more debts than the rest of us,
But God I ask that you give them Jubilee tonight to restore their trust,
For God, they have been through so much,
Give them Jubilee so they can once again receive this life’s touch,
Give them Jubilee tonight so tomorrow they know they’re set free,
Give them Jubilee tonight so tomorrow they can embrace the great mystery,
That you always suffer with us, so we never suffer alone,
And suffering is never eternal but only lasts a season,
God give them Jubilee tonight so tomorrow they have a reason,
To embrace this life with fullness of hope and everlasting zeal,
Though many of them are closer to you than me, tonight I ask that you show them you’re real,
In a way that they will never forget the truth that you’ve shown me,
That you will redeem all creation over the course of eternity.

Premium Member A Season of Shifting

At my church last Sunday, I heard the word 'Shift' by two different people. The first 'Shift' that I heard was from the pastor, and the next by a parishioner. Later on during the week, it caused me pause as I further considered its significance. As I recall, the basic emphasis was that there is a present 'Shifting', and there would be more 'Shifting' taking place in our church. The dictionary indicates that 'Shift' means to change place, position, or direction; a change of emphasis or attitude; to move or change gears.

My father died when I was 13, and I must have been 11 or 12 when he taught me to drive. In those days, most vehicles had a stick shift or 4-speed transmissions. So that was the first kind on which I learned to drive. My father's 4-speed required 'Shifting' from one speed to the next, but the engine would stall if you 'Shifted' from 1 to 4 and nearly stall from 1 to 3. One could possibly 'Shift' from 2 to 4, but it was not advisable. So, as you can see, there was a lot of 'Shifting' going on in my childhood.

'Shifting' is also required when one slows down and speeds up again. So there is constant upshifting and downshifting. Without both, there is no way that one can navigate to his/her destination.

'Shifting' is not new to The Lord, and we are better served by Him if we yield to His 'Shifting', A major 'Shifting' took place each time God decided for the Israelites to take the next stage of their journey. God led them by the movement of the cloud by day and fire by night. Just prior to the Israelites' crossing into the Promise Land, Moses protested, but God's mind was made up to change the leadership from Moses to Joshua. Another major 'Shifting' took place when the apostle Paul was determined to take the gospel to Asia. However, The Holy Spirit forbade him to go into Asia at that time.

We would do well to remember that sometimes the 'Shifting' may cause us pain, but let us realize that ultimately, everything God does is for our gain.

Stumble and Fall

Bluebird Cafe off of music row and all they ever told him was no no and no
He was outta time and outta dough cause they never played his songs on the radio
Then and there he kneeled to pray and these are the words he heard that day

We may stumble and we may fall knew today’d be the day you'd call
We may stumble and we may fall write about Peter Pilate and Paul

Now don't worry son take my hand and I'll lead you to the promised land
Get your verse from the scripture make it vivid so they get the picture
Paint 'em rainbows and the clear blue skies fire and brimstone from the lightning strikes
Heaven's streets are paved with gold Hell is hotter than the sun tenfold

We may stumble and we may fall illustrate that big fireball
We may stumble and we may fall don't cost a dime to make this call

The crown of thorns were on my head just so you could have a comfy bed
They pounded the nails in my feet here's the scar would you like to see it
I'll be back in a purple robe to pass judgment across the globe
Bring to life my Holy Spirit crank it up so they can hear it

We may stumble and we may fall listen to the words of apostle Paul
We may stumble and we may fall watch out for that summer squall

All the hearts of woman and man were formulated from my master plan
The devil gets in when you drop your guard so pass along my business card
Think of me day and night and I'll be here to fight the fight
The groundwork's down for you to walk the walk so consider this our little talk

We may stumble and we may fall you won't walk until you crawl
We may stumble and we may fall I'll show up whenever you call

All the goose bumps and the standing hair how in the world did they get there
I can send a chill up and down your spine or appear as a vision to convince your mind
Life is not a perfect painting so get off your knees the world's awaiting

We may stumble and we may fall I'm the judge jury and all
We may stumble and we may fall there's your answer so get on the ball
We may stumble and we may fall turn it up and tell em all!

Premium Member We Are the Christian Communicators

We are the Christian Communicators since
We are also all followers of our beloved Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. For it has become our primary role and
Our purpose of our earth bound lives. To spread
The redemption gospel of our wonderful Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ!

We are to spread the good news of the gospel of
Jesus Christ from shore to shore and from sea
To shining sea. From here and there and every
People need to know just how much He truly
Does care! They need to know His saving grace
Will deliver them from eternal death and disgrace!

People in our native lands as well as those of
Faraway foreign lands need to hear and to
Understand all about Jesus Christ. The Son
Of God and the Son of Man. But what they
Honestly need to know is that God is Love!

Once they know all about His sacrificial love He
Showed for them on Calvary's Cross. That He
Died and was buried and He rose again on the
Third day. Triumphant over death, hell and the
Grave! They surely need to know, that Satan
The tempter and the Devil, the deceiver is a
Defeated foe!

And because He rose again from the grave,
All of us will also rise again during the
Rapture of the body, the bride and the
Church of Jesus Christ. And so shall
We always be with our Lord God Almighty!

According to the Apostle Paul, "To be absent
From the body and to be present with the
Lord is far better." When we close our eyes
For the last time we shall pass from death
Unto everlasting life!

The second death has no power over us!
"Oh death where is your sting? Oh grave
Where is your victory?" We have been
Set free from death, hell and the grave!
We have been redeemed by the precious
Blood of the Lamb of God!

The Lamb of God, Jesus Christ takes away
The sins of the world and has mercy on us!
Jesus Christ took our place and died for
Us! "He gave His life what more could He
Give!" All because how much He loved
All of His special children!

In Christ's Holy Name!

Premium Member And don't give the devil a foothold Ephesians 4:27 part five

"In your anger do not sin. " Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27.

It doesn't pay to remain angry with your brothers and your sisters in the Lord
Jesus Christ.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children
of the light. Ephesians 4:8

Forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Mathew 6:12-13

If we want God to forgive us of our sins? First, we must be willing to forgive
others their sins against us. Without it we can't expect our Lord to forgive us!

We should all follow the Godly example of the believers in Thessalonians. The
Apostle Paul received a good report of them via messengers of the gospel of
 Jesus Christ.

The tell us how you have turned to God from idols to serve the living and the
true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--
Jesus who rescues us from the coming wrath. ! Thessalonians 1:9.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Come near to God, and he will come near to you. James 4:7-8.

Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up. James 4:10

Do Not Love the World

Do not love the world nor anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the
love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world--the cravings of
sinful men, the lust of his eyes, and the boasting, of what he has and what he
does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and it's desires
pass away, but the man [or the woman] who does the will of God, abides forever.
1 John 2: 15.

The world does pass away but the word of God does abide forever. Just like all
of those, who do the will of God by freely abiding, in his will. Do also abides with
him forever more; according to the holy Scriptures and the promises of God.

"the Prince of Tides" ~

Perspectives and points of view....

The Apostle Paul once said that if one were to look upon himself as merely that of

Flesh and Blood then, they would be greatly mistaken amid their near and far Perceptions

This battle within ones own Sightful volitions?!

For though We walk in the flesh as such, We do not war amongst these matters of futility....

Yet, rather, Our weapons are mighty unto the pulling down of Strongholds by, "Grace," given ~

And although We may tarry in this body of woe; cast unto this place and earth; Times

We are not of this world; wherein such Profound absolute "Truth," shall soon be Revealed!?

Unveilings within, the Wonderous twinkling of an eye....

No, We shall forever walk boldly Adorned in these Bejeweled Vestures; awaiting

Faiths chalice of "Loves Promises" thus, Poured; benighted, Spirits of Righteousness

"Holy;" as then We rise from the Ashes of memory, to take hold of Immortalities

Quintessence of Perfection; Infallibly made to slay the dragons of past....

Nailed to a "Crucifix" of, Everlasting Born?!

Still, for now within part, let Us groan aside most all of "Creation," as, We hold fast unto

The "Omnipotent Caressing Hands" of; Our Destinies ~

Painted upon the Emancipating Canvas' afore ever there were but even, "One Star"....

Before the Chambers and the Beams; the Oceans, the Mountains, and, the "Dreams"

Far, far away and Beyond, the ebbs of a flowings, Once upon a time!?

Standing at the Throne; "He," They and I; "Alpha and Omegas," Crowns of "Light" ~

Hearts of Cardinal Colours; swords no more; Eternities Heirs at, "Neverendings, Door"....

Prayer To the Mystery

Grant me your free-flowing mercy
The bright redeeming potency
For I’m yours, redeemer I plea
Mystery, have mercy on me

Grant me your saving birth, oh Mind
Open yourself, treasure refined
Blinding treasury so weighty
Mystery, have mercy on me

Accept me, refined fullness blessed
Grant immortal perfection for rest
For you’re eternal rest so free
Mystery, have mercy on me

A small prayer I offer to you
Oh God who lived before one knew
In the name that existed before sound of thee
Mystery, have mercy on me

A small prayer I offer to you
Through the anointed lamb we view
King of each of heaven’s country
Mystery, have mercy on me

A prayer I offer for my fate
Through the lamb, light and advocate
Grant your heavenly gifts to see
Mystery, have mercy on me

A huge beg I offer with thresh
Grant me power over my flesh
Grant medicine for my body
Mystery, have mercy on me

Through the preacher of the good news
Redeem soul and spirit that snooze
Immortal twins soon to be free
Mystery, have mercy on me

Unveil your firstborn to my mind
Grant what dark angels cannot find
First born of the Pleroma’s Sea
Mystery, have mercy on me

Grant what the rulers have not heard
Hearts are Saklas’s image blurred
Grant what hearts have not felt I plea
Mystery, have mercy on me

I have the endless faith of hope
You, the firstborn of all in scope
Please bestow your loved majesty
Mystery, have mercy on me

Grant me your free-flowing mercy
You, the wonderful mystery
Praise to you for eternity
Mystery, have mercy on me
