In Other Words

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers 
For what does righteousness have in common with deceivers? 
What fellowship can day have with night? 
What harmony is between Belial and Light? 
What does a believer have in common with those who quip? 
Or between God’s temple and idol worship? [1]
We put no stumbling block in anyone’s way
                   so that our ministry will not be disgraced
Rather, as servants of God
                  We commend ourselves, we nod
In great endurance, in troubles 
                  hardships and stumbles
In imprisonments, riots and beatings
                  in hard work, sleepless nights and we go without eating
In purity, understanding, patience, being kind
                 (We walk by faith not by sight) [2]
In the Holy Spirit and in sincere love
                 in truthful speech and in God and His power thereof
With weapons of righteousness we brandish
                 in the right and in the left handed
Through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report
                genuine, yet regarded as impostors (they retort)
Known, yet regarded as unknown 
Dying, and yet we live on as shown
Beaten, and yet not killed
Sorrowful, yet with joy we’re filled
(We don’t mourn as those lacking hope
But we believe that God in Jesus will bring us home) [3] 
Poor, yet making many rich, rejoicing
  Having nothing, and yet possessing everything [4]

It also has my favorite verse 2 Corinthians 13:8 "For you can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth"
