If I Were Your Love

If I were your love, my dear,
I'd hold you close and wipe your tear.
I'd cherish every moment we share,
And show you just how much I care.

If I were your love, my sweet,
I'd kiss you softly and sweep you off your feet.
I'd give you all my heart and soul,
And together we would be whole.

If I were your love, my love,
I'd be your angel from above.
I'd guide you through life's twists and turns,
And make sure your heart forever burns.

If I were your love, my darling,
I'd be your shelter from life's storming.
I'd protect you and keep you safe,
And make sure your smile never fades.

If I were your love, my dearest,
I'd always be sincere and honest.
I'd be your partner through thick and thin,
And always strive to make you grin.

So my love, if you ever wonder,
Just know that I'll always be your thunder.
I'll be your rock, your light, your dove,
Because that's what I'd do if I were your love.

Premium Member Goodnight

I thought you were lying beside me
I was so warm in your embrace , side
By side not a care in the world just you
And me, king size bed, guy and girl

But when I awoke your side of the bed
Was unwrinkled, cold, barren, shapeless
And reality brought me back no you!
Day in day out! What am I to do?

Finding Love is so hard today.
Dysfunctionality is the normal measure
A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush
Thing is you don't know about tomorrow

Time passes idly by I hear your steps
I catch a glimpse of your white coat
We had a beautiful life together
The island trips, cruises on the boat

The birds still call your name
We all loved you more than you know
Our life together was cut short
Cancers' the one who made you go

Snow will be coming here soon
Although you will never be cold again
Don't worry I still have your ashes
My promise to return them to England

Goodnight my love I miss you so
I am writing this to you before bed
It helps me sleep to write to you
And tell you the thoughts in my head

I cherish the home we have and
The time we had together my love
Goodnight my love with all my heart
May God keep you safe above.

Premium Member On Finding Love

I long to cup each flushing cheek
My palms to hold her precious face
Her lips mine also wish to seek
With gentle kisses there to place

Be clear the sky no cloud to hide
Delights my heart is plain to see
Though dreariness can push aside
Does naught to halt her mystery

Her mind a magic melting pot
Blue eyes bright, her soul reveals
A spirit that is fiery hot
How easily? My heart, she steals

To hold her close and tenderly
Beneath a dreamy moonlit sky
And when she asks, “Do you love me?”
“With all my heart”, I do reply

Dear Sadness, take your chilly air
Lonely loveless to surround
Go from me and my despair
For my true love, at last, I’ve found

Toss and Turn

8/23/17

Certain things I could not confirm
Still got a lot to learn
As the hands on the clock turn
Most nights I toss and turn

Go ahead and think its' funny, It don't matter
I'm hungry and still will go after
Money, otherwise it's no answer

Day and night
Trying to make it right
Toward a better way of life

Much to deal with
A realist
You will or won't feel it

Near and far from any stop sign
Showing up on time
Ready to go with a strong mind

In order to be set apart
Going to leave my mark
With all my heart
Right from the start
Whilst being smart
Regardless of if it has to do with hard labor or art

Multi-tasking
As time continues passing
Knowing it all can't be everlasting

Long Live The Queen

She enters the room in elegance
Youthfulness is evident
Her eyes hold excitement gleaming
Her heart filled with fears streaming

Into the Canterbury she walks with gliding strides
As the Archbishop receives her at her side
Her Coronation has begun
In the early morning sun

Four symbols of authority are her commitment
The orb, scepter, rod of mercy, all are her fulfillment
Sapphire and rubies the ring of royalty
Placed upon her finger in loyalty

St. Edward’s Crown will forever rest
Glimmering upon her darkened hair blest
A vigorous heart beat within her breast
Her people await her first formal address

A song of “God Save the Queen” throughout England hearing
As gun salutes are fired to the sound of crowds cheering
With her emergence on the balcony of Buckingham Palace
Her words of sincerity sweet as wine in a chalice

“Throughout all my life and with all my heart
I shall strive to be worthy of your trust”

Stored into the journals of time her speech shall always be just

Premium Member Curtains of My Heart

With beams of divine illumination
my heart is unveiled from shielding curtains
exposing verities of motive-throbs
surely God can discern
bereft of humanistic favoritism.

Lurking drape of hypocrisy evades from truth’s gleam
while vanity lace lingers
seductively winking in deception
awaiting the cleansing bleach
only the Holy Spirit can fulfill.

Clinging tenaciously is the Venetian blind of arrogance
made heavy by self-righteousness fabric
with virtue-vice threads of dominant scarlet hues
needing the conquering meekness of the Saviour
for humility’s beauty to glow.

Hanging loosely with suffocating shade is frustration jalousie
always ready to engulf heart’s disposition with despair
while soul struggles for hope upon faith’s buttress
oh! how terribly awful is its vexing presence
along loathe some display of condemning* defeat.

Amidst spiritual disclosure through Sovereign enlightenment
my heart is now enjoying freedom from curtain’s coping accessories
while repentantly confessing “just as I am”
thanking the Almighty Lord for His compassion
so I can serve Him and be a blessing to others with all my heart.

Love is a beautiful thing.
What a turn is just that of mind to heart.
To believe seem to be just an illusion.
It truely exist...

To find that of the soul is incredible.
Such peace, such sense of being.
Just being me is all I'm being.

It's there I am heart as God has made me.
That of a wonderful creation he has givin' us.
To love one another for who we are.
Regardless of the world we from.

We never forget that feeling to which stands there.
I just know it's a beautiful thing to love someone.
Because it's all my heart wants to do.
Is to be near you and love for eternity.

       Happy Valentine's Day!

I Turn To You Today

Dear Lord
I turn to you today
to take all theese emotions and feelings away
I have liked a guy for sometime
and thought in your time all things would be fine
he still is huming and haring
and is still unsure what to do
so Lord I turn it all over to you
I carnt keep going on like this one minute hes talking to me
then he is not
it's time to move on and time for this guy I forgot
I know you asked me to wait a while
but it is dragging me down and taking away my smile
I have tried to be a good friend and always have been there
but is still as if he just does not care
I carn't stay in this situation there is nothing left I can do
but Dear Lord
I turn it all over to you
I will focous on what lies ahead
and focous all my love and energys on you instead
I Love you Lord with all my heart and there is no doubt
I know this guy I can live without
you are first in my heart Lord now and ever
you love me always and will leave me never
so hear my plea as I pray
I am sory Lord but from this situation i now have to walk away Amen

Just...Me

There inside of me is a deep yearning,
One that has been forever burning.

A yearning to belong and to be,
A desire to be accepted for me.

I am a wife but not for long,
As that dream is now forgone.

I am a sister, a friend, and someones lover,
Believe it or not I also used to be called "Mother".

I wake up everyday in so much pain,
Waiting for it to go away in vain.

I have dreams of being more,
But feel like this life is my penance to settle my score.

I have not always done what is right,
And for that, I now see the light.

Too little too late,
But my pain does not abate.

People always wonder why I have no self worth.
Maybe they should spend a day in my world.

I talk to people but see something in their face,
That just makes me think I am taking up space.

My kids were taken from me,
Yet people act like that is way it is supposed to be.

I can no longer eat very much,
But have not been able to lose much weight as such.

When I talk no one listens,
Nor do they see the tears that glisten.

My life, my very existance
Has come to nothing but a pittance.

I am who I am and nothing more.
Even though most days I am a great bore.

I work a job that I am not supposed to do,
Yet everyone says they have no clue.

Told everyday I am stupid and worth nothing more.
Am told that having 5 kids makes me a whore.

I love with all my heart and might,
I just want one chance at what is right.

I don't think I ask for a lot,
I just am tired of being treated like a robot.

I have needs, wants, and desires.
I just no longer want to be stuck in these mires.

I want no more than to be loved and respected.
Is it so wrong to want to be accepted?

I want the right to be.
I am just...me

Premium Member In Love With the Lover of My Soul

I love HIM with all my heart, strength and soul
Upheld by His grace of compassion role.

I do love HIM – my marvelous Lover
He reached down to me, leaving me never.

I love HIM midst my worthlessness indeed
Proving such with praise-word and service-deed.

I really love HIM, Saviour with great fame
By faith, I please Him, exalting His name.

I so love HIM because He first loved me*
Securing my life from hell’s enemy.

I’ll always love HIM all by His granted might
Sealed thru His truth’s light, absolutely right.

I love GOD… beyond eternity’s bliss
Abiding in His care – I must not miss.

*1 John 4:19 We love him (Lord God), because he first loved us.
