Rest Easy My Friend

Rest my friend truly you deserve some peace
Life sometimes hard but you always did maintain
Your friends carry a memory of you that won't cease

A peculiar fellow quickly your anger could increase
How adamantly you would continue to explain
Rest my friend you deserve to get some peace

Your passion for life could never decrease
Even after suffering so much agony and pain
Your friends carry a memory ofyou that won't cease

From every lecture I could take away a piece
Always knowing there was something to gain
Rest my friend trulyyou deserve some peace

I continue on now still searching for my crease
We have a friendship that death cannot contain
Yes I'll carry a memory of you that won't cease

Truly our friendship never faltered in the least
Even now I can still hear you complain and complain
Rest now my friend truly you deserve some peace
Your friends carry a memory of you that won't cease

Righteous Smart Left Hand

Righteous smart left hand

Short lived amnesia
(there's no app for that) found
his highness (ha... ha... ha... hm)
drawing a (figurative) blank
today January 54th, 2021,

when the misses asked yours truly
to access Verizon voicemail,
me noggin made a clank,
no doubt forgetfulness potion I drank
helps explain the circumstance
spilled (er spelled) ernest and frank.

After uttering expletive
stronger than tarnation
sought after digital information
re: 1-888-234-6786, I handily
pressed telephone keys right away
courtesy five fingertips,
and thumb expecting standing ovation

course I practiced self abnegation
and adamantly refrained
exclaiming these
bone a fied digits of flesh
the best most intelligent in creation,
my memory recalling telephone numerals
more difficult then acquiring k-ration.

Maybe you - anonymous
dear reader unwittingly applauded
(courtesy butterfly effect -
vibrations felt in Schwenksville)
impacted one garden variety human
comfortably nestled within dwelling
functioning as his remote workstation.

Nevertheless, your friendly martian, i.e. me
(from the outer limits
of the twilight zone
ofttimes analogously scurrying
like dark shadow creeping
along the edge of night)
somehow either discerned

(felt, heard or saw)
aforementioned reverberation
unbeknownst to yours truly,
thought he detected, and
felt atmospheric perturbations,
which I automatically fantasized
indicative of a strange being
housed within alien nation.

Pray tell - soundcloud I sensed
twas thee, a faux Earthling,
who telepathically communicated
to mine overactive imagination
please be courteous and befriend
plus promise to whisk me away

to never never land,
regardless whether cultural heritage
of population constitutes
a cross between
Alsatian, cetacean,
Croatian, claymation, Dalmatian,
Haitian, Thracian, et cetera.

Premium Member Earthtribal Abortions

All of the men
and most of the women
I have known
whose most important life-affirming value
is not to be for Earth's climate health
and is to be adamantly against abortion
of healthy individual fetal life,

Are not motivated by love
of all polycultural
EarthTribe interdependent life's
organic networking systems
of humane-divine
body-mind development.

More rigid anti-abortion positions
ironically emerge from confusing
complex interplay
between AnthroSupremacist
LeftBrain monocultural thinking

Supported by white patriarchal
monotheistically hierarchical
RightBrain repressed anxious feelings
that nonstraight
nonmale
nonwhite folks
have always been less empowered
and inevitably more dimly enlightened
about healthy
divinely inspired
ethical values for health-wealthy happy life.

Those who have blind faith
in AnthroSupremacist righteous values
but less actual experience
of integrity's personal grace
of warm-wombed place

Whose lot in less loved and valued life
is to survive
win/lose cosmic ecopolitical realities
rather than win/win EarthTribe anticipations
to holy and holistically thrive

Trauma histories have less healing experience
emerging consistently
multiculturally
from healthy fetal emergence
and from mentally healthy wombed experience
into light of EarthTribe's co-empathic
universal commitment
to wealth-share
healthcare

Rather than continuing
mindlessly aborting Earth's green/blue health
as a living
sacred
global
organic system
of divinely humane
spirited natural
compassionate providence

More like a polycultural garden
of healthy polytheistic loving Elders
than a hotbed of climatic
dramatic
mutually abortive
monotheistic hate.

Forty days and forty nights in lock down

Breathless for inhaling my own air ad infinitum

Could be worse if I was left out to dry in the desert

Isolation in my own four walls in solitude

Puffing and panting from the magic scented flacon

Fragrant innocence of lost childhood in terminal decline

Slimming down expectations for a slice on the road to Nirvana

I light sandalwood from a candle of flickering dreams

Perfumed ideation adamantly adheres to waxen resolve

It's only over when the slim lady sung a tune of lifting reprieve

I hope that she has been told when to bow for applause

And that the virus chokes on the curtain of epical demands

Like a bat out of hell I run round in circles along my four walls

Loose count of repetitions as I pace an eclipse of boredom

Enact biblical scenes with a teddy bear and ragged dolls

Lego figures dance a concert of doom with swift ballerinas

Trinkets on the mantlepiece rejoice in prominent position

Count their blessings and have their day in the lime light

Super powers of alien invasion penetrate my face mask

Order my persona to reveal resilience and count down

The apocalypse for when the gloves are off and insanity ends

Old and New

CAUTION (older version)

Beware of a creature called Man,
Approach him with extreme care -
He's deadlier than death.
Of all the creatures
He alone walks upright,
Yet owns a twisted
Heart and mind.
He walks on the land
But lords over
the waters and the air.
What he builds, he destroys;
He kills his own kind -
En masse!
The creator of good and evil,
Heaven and Hell;
The maker of
the gods and the devil!

*     *     *     *

Beware of Man (Newer version)

Man is both evil and divine
There's a dark side to him and a light,
In his darkest hours he tends to shine,
But overwhelms the weak with his might.

The maker of the gods and the devil,
And of blissful heaven and fiery hell,
The savvy creator of good and evil,
He'll con you into your soul to sell.

Be leery of the politician and the priest,
Oh, I abhor them both vehemently,
They'll make your life hard to persist
And curb your free will adamantly.

So be wary of him who walks upright,
He's but hunched over with sins he carry,
Distance yourself from him on sight,
Better charm the snakes; Man - you parry!

Premium Member Trying To Mediate Troubles Between Zee and Dee

Zee and Dee could not get along for two seconds in class.
The teacher was hanging off a cliff by her worn down teeth.
I said I would try to figure it out.

Zee was super angry with Dee.
He could not stop yelling about it.
Dee and Zee came into my room together.

Dee casually mentioned they are brothers.
Zee is angry because ten months ago, his mother sent him away.
And she kept Dee.

I have a feeling this is not something a school counselor can solve.
I asked permission to tell their teacher they are brothers.
They were adamantly opposed to this.
No idea why
But I am keeping my mouth shut,
so, I can learn more
incase there is a next time.

Masks

Is there anyone in this world who’s real anymore?
Have we created a society so completely synthetic
like faux suede and polyester lace
that when the going gets hot melts into goo
everyone feeling the need to don a fake face to fit in?
Are there people who are actually the person
they present themselves to be publicly
or has life become one perpetual production
everyone playing the part of a fictional character
in front of a perfectly painted façade?
Perhaps that’s why my forty plus years thus far
on this planet have proven to have been so painful
I’ve adamantly refused to be anyone but me
aside from on the stage where I'm expected
to portray another personality
Has authenticity been deemed an undesirable trait?
Is it my fate to be forced to remain wary
every waking moment of a man behind the curtain
projecting a convincing illusion
creating in others a delusion as to their true identity?
Humanity has always had a penchant
for making a thing more difficult when it doesn’t need to be
Wouldn’t everything be so much easier if you were simply you
as I am simply me?

The Bolted Brain

      Like permanently set cement.
Ever try to speak to one?
      Whose vacant eyes just glow!
      With questionable truisms,
      Gleaned from brazen television shows?

As if a seven-paid figured miscreant
Has fallen from Mount Olympus, what?
      Ill informed mountaineers, they~
Encouraging us to at our nation jeer!
Yea, their duty be, to fill us with hate
      and fear, adamantly.

      Best you muzzle these mouthpieces
      who cheer.
For the end of the planet, all nations
and the life you hold dear.
They want to be angels of truth?
I say adamantly, they all lie, forsooth!

Premium Member My Liberator

Life asked me, do you love me?

I looked at Life in silence, weighing in her question
Wanting not to hurt her, yet, wanting to tell her the truth!

Did you ever give me the opportunity to love you
Whispered I to it,
Refusing adamantly to make eye contact with it!

Did you ever allow me to love you
What I sought from you, I never got
Only begot I,
Dark pricks in my inner self,
Misunderstood by the whole lot
Trampled upon by the hooves of humankind
As if,
As if,
I were mere filth!

Life looked at me
Then,
Shamefaced, lowered her gaze
And looked away!

I am not to be blamed, said it,
I am ruled by your load of actions and reactions
If you suffer amidst my expanse
It must be surely because so do you deserve!

The silence that settled between us became stifling
So much that I swallowed my gulp, and sought out Love,
Love, who remains bent on his own ego
On his own crescendo, on his own rollercoaster
Why, if Life remains so hard to love
At least Love,
Even if, hidden in between folds of subtleness, remains my liberator!

Premium Member A Softer Way To Die

A Softer Way to Die

We live and study life
We pray that somehow
God changes his rules.
No one wants to die
No one wants to follow
Those complicated laws;
I mean no lie-ing - no steal-ing
no sex - before marriage no
Fornicating, no killing
No lust-greed or defiling the earth.
Amen.
All we can do now is try to find
" A softer way to die".
Pick your battles...
There are many ways to die.
I asked, God why?
When mom threw a
"Monkey wrench" in my world
Answering - "We all have to die"
I immediately winked at God...
Thinking to myself (not I).
Gave him a little nudge;
Sidebar God: I said to God
Adamantly "I do not want to die"
"Can you change the rules "?
I never heard back from him
On that subject.
I went to him again
God "Can you at least
Keep me with a mom-
I said "So that I won't be an
Orphan like Shirley Temple”?
He did get back to me on that
And Mom is Alive and well
Plan A. (living forever)
Still not executed.
Once again contemplating
Thoughts on how I want to die.
I could not think of a pleasant way
To die, none that seemed appealing.
Nor any options that would be fun.
hmmm, eat myself to death.
Playing chicken with the train,
Might prove thrilling.
As time grew nigh
My thoughts continued
.... On a softer way to die.
Childhood gone, middle age gone'
Old age approaching fast and furious
Destroying me like a sudden
Approaching hurricane...
This storm knocked out my lights
Memory gone now.
Forgetting my life- my loved ones
Forgetting my friends,
Children, and foes alike
Forgetting my wrongs - my sins
and accomplishments all.
Everything's gone. So, now
What do I do?... How can
I rewrite my life, Take account.
Of that which I remember not.
The realities if my existence
Has been wiped out from
The Forest Fires burning
In my mind’s eye.
Have no recordings of
Who loved me or of who
I shall never forgive.
How will I know that I ever even lived?
Taking my dark blank pages into
The afterlife- My shadowy
Existence ends. I feel no pain
I Have no thoughts,
Have nothing to contemplate.
For I have asked to live forever
Or that I die a, softer way
Forgetting to eat
Forgetting to drink-
Forgetting to swallow
Forgetting to breath...
Forgetting this life-
I close my eyes and fade away.
painlessly
