The Bolted Brain

The Bolted Brain

      Like permanently set cement.
Ever try to speak to one?
      Whose vacant eyes just glow!
      With questionable truisms,
      Gleaned from brazen television shows?

As if a seven-paid figured miscreant
Has fallen from Mount Olympus, what?
      Ill informed mountaineers, they~
Encouraging us to at our nation jeer!
Yea, their duty be, to fill us with hate
      and fear, adamantly.

      Best you muzzle these mouthpieces
      who cheer.
For the end of the planet, all nations
and the life you hold dear.
They want to be angels of truth?
I say adamantly, they all lie, forsooth!

Hello Panagiota, I think that the media should tell the truth, not tell lies. after all people have the right to know what is really going on. You would not want a person like Hitler to run the country. I hardly read FB. I read Fb for different things. Like cats and other things. Hugs Darlene xxxx-oooo enjoy your day.my friend.

Hello Darlene! If thr truth were told, nobody would be wearing a maslk.the covid spread is based on a 15 year old's science experiment. How about that for the truth. She made a prediction based on a computer model.gee!the purpose of fake news is to destroy the opposition. It wasn't always like this. I did not grow up in an America on steroids nor was I taught to hate, rob or steal.the news loves criminals. They are "victims" not crooks, good how you use FB. Hugs, Panagiota xxxooo

Hello Panagiota … I think the media motto is - don't let the truth get in the way of a good story - and many people swallow this with gusto. The headline sucks them in, but the actual story might be a little different - thanks again Panagiota - Lindsay

Hello Miss Darlene..reread the poem I went after the media with a vengeance. High paid liars and destructive to ALL countries. I trust the weather channel. News? I can't believe the distortions and lies people swallow like candy. We may end up with no countries led by liars with the sanity of Hitler. I resource news from sane sources. Never use FB or Google for news. They are aligned with the despots of untruths , otherwise known as news casters. It's a shame and we better wake up. Hugs Panagiota xxxooo

This is excellent poetry dear Panagiota - where you find and think of these incredible ideas and explain them so eloquently is amazing to me. Stay safe, Love Jenny.

Aww, so nice to hear you say that. I think of myself as one of the least creative here. I don't know where these ideas come from. They just are an expression of my soul. I can't hide behind eloquent words or nature. It's always me you read. Naked as a jay bird. I rarely think of myself in the terms you used...everything great here! Love, Panagiota

Problem with people, they read or hear it on the news so think it's true, not the case, folks need to wake up. Tom

You said it. These false prophets should be tarred and feathered. ))) Half the world under the spell of madmen. Panagiota
