I don’t believe in being politically correct
It’s like having a ***** that can’t get erect
I don’t believe in sugar-coded lies
Its poison brewing deep inside.
We are raising mindless fools
Those who are afraid to not play by the rules
We are breeding parasites
With a void of ambition and a lack of might.
When will we start to think again?
And not be cowards that break instant of bend
When will we challenge all that we see?
Isn’t that what keeps all men free?
Times are getting harder to fight
Many are claiming what isn’t right
Everyone’s afraid of offending someone
Accept the Holy Spirit, God the father and Son
Subliminal signs are no longer in hiding
It’s clear which sides are siding
Empathy is no longer a treasure
Peoples love can now be measured.
Hearts growing colder by the day
Everyone seems to be losing the way.
Hardships make you bitter or better
No one wants to stay together.
Marriages are failing with no fight to save
Society has made us all once again slaves.
Everyone’s labeled a hater if they don’t agree
I agree that we all need to get on our knees
And repent for the insanity
The consistent vanity
Cry out for a change of heart
We need to be injected with Gods healing darts
Don’t grow cold and dead
Listen to What I Just Said!
Don’t grow weary and weak
And become afraid to speak
Don’t buy into this lie
That we were made to just get by.
Don’t drink from waters that can’t heal
Waters that drown and steal
Don’t live your life as a mistake
While getting polluted and becoming a fake
Feel again,
Breathe again,
Love again,
For in the end,
It’s all about time well spent.

Grotesque monsters immortalized in stone
Are perched on top of ancient architectural
Churches with a rumor attached about them
Being marsupial, taking to flight, and having
To materialize back in their places before
Sunrise so they don't fossilize.
These horrible creatures protect buildings as
Water spouts to keep the wall clear along
With frightening away evil spirits to which
The Cardinals say are functional.
Can you visualize their disguise?
These monsters and creatures are known as
Gargoyles who are mythical, mystical, magical,
And historical.
These mythological unusual creations aren't
At all conventional yet, they are phenomenal.
Laugh out loud they've left night time for day
Time afternoon with their own cartoon and
Video game chain
Which makes them a conversational
Piece with real names and fame with which
My children they entertain.
This was a massive campaign.
Thanks to Disneyland
Gargoyles are no longer disdained or plain.
Now they have their own merchandise on
Sale, on demand under their own name brand
So before it's all gone check out their stand
It's fully manned. Believe it or not they got
The upper hand.
In the singularity
perfectly good poems
are being written by laughing
and crying machines
washing machines and dryers
about their daily tasks
and ambivalences
which will be indistinguishable
from those of future
farmers and philosophers.
In the singularity
evolution can be said
to be the master sorter of data
as in the factories
of the suns
where protons are smashed together
and unusual weather patterns
make consciousness interesting
for its complete dependence
on the substrate of the brain and body.
In the singularity
everything anyone once did
always remains current
as if invented yesterday
for an immediate purpose
such as curing cancer
although that may be unnecessary
to achieving immortality
i.e. the happiness one feels
the day before thanksgiving.
you're about to embark on a new adventure you're at a turning point in your life's road
so step out on faith, remember where you came from and go forth confident and bold
you're beautiful, you're intelligent and you have a lot going on
just reach for your God given destiny which is just on the horizon
don't allow anyone to define you nor place you in a pigeon hole
you're a young, gifted and strong black woman who's in total control
trust in your instincts and always stay true to yourself
and don't be intimidated by anyone else's position, status nor wealth
just keep working hard and keep your head in the books
use your smarts to get ahead and don't just rely on your looks
just stay the course and always follow through
for there are great things out there waiting just for you
you have a strong family foundation that has given you a good headstart
we love you Jennifer Louise and remember you're always in our hearts
I really miss your muffin-top
when you are far away
Your saddle-bags I long to touch
so come on home to play
My pigeon toes are not the same
without your crows feet near
My choppers miss your cooking too
it “taint” the same my dear
Is my beer belly on your mind
love handles do you miss
and how about my double chin
can you live with out this
So bring on back your thunder thighs
your saggy bottom too
Your fat beau-legged Valentine
now sorely misses you
Nobody's perfect but I'm pretty close
Don't usually brag about my prowess
But sometimes I just get so overwhelmed
My enthusiasm for me is boundless
You may be annoyed by my constant bragging
But when you're as perfect as me
It's almost impossible to let it go unnoticed
Must share my perfection with thee
It's sure not all fun and games living up to
Such standards I've set for me
Got no one to blame but my own desires
For impressing all you ladies, indeed
Afflicted by charm and stunning good looks
All my life, it's been quite a struggle
Living up to the standards I've set for myself
But I've really tried to stay humble
I am what I am, there's no changing now
I've learned to live with perfection
Not everyone's able to handle such a burden
It's a serious incurable infection
(WHAAAAAT?)
A friend is someone who likes you for who you are and not what you look like because that is what really matters.
It's not about beauty and popularity, but it is someone who likes your personality is with you to the end is someone that tells
you when you are wrong, but not in a bad way never blames everything on you is not afraid to be seen with you is someone that believes
you when nobody else will is someone who won't allow you to self-destruct will take all the time that is needed no matter what time of day someone
who will listen to your problems and give you her best advice is someone who can open up and be themself around you will swallow her pride to take your advice
will never write you off is someone that you respect who respects you and shares their feelings makes you feel good about yourself encourages you to reach for your goals
never gets jealous of you shares the good times and helps out by listening during the bad times never tells a secret they promise not to tell doesn't talk about you to other friends
is forever and for life is there for you even when you feel like the world is against you, will open the door for you no matter how late it is would never betray you helps you make new friends
might get in fights with you, but will always forgive you tells you the truth makes time for you and is someone to laugh with understands what your feeling even when you don't understand your own feelings
will tell you if you have something in your teeth will do something for you and not ask for a favor in return has a special place in your heart and is always there when you need them
I first saw him -the blonde Adonis - at church camp when I was but 14.
In the group ahead of mine, he turned around and our eyes magically locked.
I felt so sure he liked me. That’s how I recall it anyway, but it was not meant to be,
for shortly thereafter, another boy approached me, cute and sweet,
and he and I fast became an “item.” However, I kept searching every day
for just one sight of the blonde Adonis, whose image still lingered in my mind.
Later, I saw my new boyfriend from church camp at monthly regional youth activities,
where I’d also see the blonde Adonis, who sometimes eyed me, but spoke not a word.
After a time, my long-distance boyfriend and I called it quits,
but I never stopped yearning to know the boy who I’d seen first that summer day -
the blonde Adonis who I was later to learn was one of ten charming siblings,
all beautiful children of a couple highly respected in our church community.
Tall, blue eyed, confident, popular, talented, smart and athletic,
the blonde Adonis was a young man destined for greatness!
Ever hopeful, I kept going to the regional activities, thinking “this will be the day!”
Always I’d watch him, wishing I was the girl slow dancing in his arms.
He was the most fascinating person I would never get to know,
and his thoughts about me (if he ever had any) I could never even guess.
I felt so sure he liked me when our eyes locked like magic that first time. . . .
At least that’s the way I recall it.

Now that she has moved on
Whats left is this empty space
If you see where l'm coming from
The days now are so hard to face
As she was that special someone
That nobody else could ever replace
This person l used to look up on
She always had amazing grace
With her my whole world shone
Oh how l miss her warm embrace
Because the fact she has gone
My heart is lost without a trace

YOU SO SWEET ECT ABOUT A PAST LOVE
To residents of Tarnow who perished or were forced into exile during WWII
I'm walking towards the palace.
Not long ago
a prince used to live there.
The sun is slowly climbing
the blue, blue sky
while shreds of fog
are slowly parting.
Yellow leaves hanging on
to the branches-
they know their time has come.
I pass an empty chapel.
It seems sad, unfulfilled,
like a heart longing for love.
Brandstaetter and his granddad
came here often.
They talked about the scriptures
and perhaps also admired the autumn.
Are we really so different?
Don’t we all want to be loved,
listen to the wind, the guitar
feel the warmth of the sun?
...
I'm going back to where my heart is.
Not everyone was able to make it home.
The rustling leaves bid me farewell,
Nordic walking sticks tap out the rhythm
and the sun keeps climbing higher and higher
