Tolerance--

With All The Hippies
And Hill-Billies On
The Blooming Fringes
Of All Our Thoughts...

Soft And Warm,
Contrary To Hope...
Here And There...
Tolerance To
Cope...

Clear Your Intolerance
To Yourselves,
Like A Log Jam
In The Flowing
Heart.

Your Own Thoughts.
Your Own Logs.

Well, To At Least
Tolerate My Own,
You Know...

***Unconditional***

I feel there's something heavy
Pressing on my bones
Medusa's gaze has got me
Turning into stone..

My life needs new perspective
Like some higher place to view
A log jam in my thinking
Or my prayers desire review

It's noisy and unsettling
I cannot find that space
Where I sit and welcome stillness
To caress and kiss my face

A wild storm shouts around me
And the structures rattle out
I need peace and understanding
To explain that noise without

Or maybe just the quiet,
Silent place within
Is the park bench where I settle
While the world creates it's din

As in nature's restful bosom
I can reconnect again
As trees dance to the birdsong
And the rhythm of the rain.

Premium Member She Kept Forgetting To Take the Pill Part 2

Maybe
Baby

Young cad
Is dad

Leaves her
For Fleur!

Teen mum
So glum

Up duff
Feels rough

Loo quick...
She’s sick

Huge tum
Soon mum

Wide girth
For birth

Can’t sleep
Counts sheep

Morning...
Yawning

Foods spurn...
Heartburn

Feels pain
Again

Again
More pain

Babe due
Needs loo

In rush
Must push

Not far
In car

With mum...
Best chum!

Log jam
Bedlam!

Head’s down
Feels crown

Mops brow
Push NOW

Babe’s born
Named Dawn

Babe screams
Mum beams

Cuts cord
In Ford!

All’s swell
Child’s well

Premium Member Muse On Muesli With Milk

My thoughts lie on hold, quenched by white milk poured,
drowns muesli like seas surge foam washes rocks.
Raisins float, get plumped, then when engorged, sink
like ticks, hungry for food, drop off when full.
The puffed wheat are funny to watch zoom by
as some will not bump into each other,
instead some weird force nudges them away,
    avoiding collisions in dairy sea.
Others group-up in rafts, in log-jam clumps.
Your oatmeal does the same briefly as well.
As I muse, white drops drip, plop from spoon poised.
Mind over muesli, muse on muesli lies.

Limerick : Once a Lonely Grand-Dad in a Log-Jam

Once a Lonely Grand-Dad in a Log-Jam
Paid an urgent visit to a Grande-Dame*
She lifted the stuck log
During Pea-Souper smog
Damn ! Got carried down Grand-Dad Rapids – Wham !

* Dame : pronounced as in French
